This is a cozy little coffee shop where you can work or hang out with some friends and play some games! They have a good variety of coffees, teas, smoothies, sandwiches, pastries and Acai bowls. It was our first time here and the barista was so nice and sweet! I got the coconut caramel latte. I'm a sweet coffee girl so this was right up my alley. I wish it had a little more coconut flavor to it but still good overall! The also got the egg, cheese, avocado bagel. It was a pretty good midday snack to share. I'll definitely need to come back to try some of the smoothies and Acai bowls! read more

I was excited to try out this spot and share it with my local clients. I am in this area every other week and like to take my clients Snacks & Drinks when I visit. Although, the experience with Rise + Shine was bad enough that I will never go back. PRO TIP: when you are out of one of the significant ingredients in a $10.smoothie, tell the customer before you make it. Instead of making it and then saying, " hey I'm out of the Spirulina, so there is none in it." Upon drinking the smoothie, I realized that one of the frozen ingredients had freezer burn YUCK!. I'm so glad I did this trial run, before I subjected any of my clients to this hot mess. read more

Last year camping, we went to the cattle dog coffee in Ramona. Was super bummed to show up and see that it closed.. however in doing a deep dive search, we came upon a rise and shine and realized that they have the cattle dog menu and it's now part of this location. Their staff is absolutely amazing, the coffee was so good. And the biscuit that they sell from the prior cattle dog menu is a must try!! This place has the best vibe, people were playing cards, families, sitting and reading books, and seemed like this was the place to go if you were a local and they knew everyone's name. I stopped in for some coffee to get my day started, and was not disappointed! The coffee was really good! I got a cinnamon brown sugar iced coffee. But honestly there were so many options to choose from and they all sound good! Very cute spot, lots of locals were there and you could tell they frequent here because of how they interacted with the staff, who are all very sweet. I stopped by to get a seasonal drink to get into the Autumn Spirit. There were a ton of October Specials, but we picked the Spiced Pumpkin Chai. It was a little expensive for a local coffee shop, but it was delicious! Very cute spot, but most of the tables had crumbs on them. However, the worker was very quick to ask if we wanted our table cleaned. It seemed like a very popular spot for locals! read more

Absolutely delicious coffee and food. I got addicted to Cattle Dog Cafe when it was open, and I was stoked to know that there was another store open under the same ownership. We were passing through the area and decided to stop by to get our morning coffee. The menu looked promising but unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the drinks we got. I got an iced banana chai +dirty and my husband got a chocolate banana cold brew. Both the drinks were extremely sweet and I felt guilty drinking it so I sadly threw mine away half way through! The price we paid were definitely not worth it. I wish I would've tried one of their other drinks with pistachio milk but idk if I would go back. At least everyone working was nice! read more

I drove from Escondido to try this place out and it was well worth the drive I was helped by Kaitlyn how was an amazing employee she was really helpful and patient and greeted me with a warming smile on her face the coffee was amazing and the service there was better. I 100% recommend it I Had the Mexican Iced Coffee which was delightful. they offer free WiFi which I used to do my homework and overall just had a great experience :) read more

Don't get me wrong, the food and drinks and all are delicious, however the same lady in the morning with the sh**ty attitude is not cool. Talking to me one day rude taking my order, taking my wife's order another day all rude, and to other customers. As if she's annoyed to work there or it's like someone is forcing her to work there. Nobody wants to come to a place especially if it's good, to where they answer you with an attitude, and if you're wondering who it is, it's the older heavier set looking blonde. read more

Best coffee in Ramona! Whatever you get - try it with the pistachio milk. I keep forgetting what brand they use but I've tried to buy other pistachio milks and it's not as good as whatever they use here. Every staff member has been so sweet and great and they make my coffee perfect every time. Their specialty/seasonal drinks are also yummy where not every coffee shop does a great job on things like that. They partner with a local bakery and for that you should DEFINITELY try to the Cinnamon rolls! I've also purchased a ton of the little trinkets and offerings they have from other local businesses. I just LOVE that the owner supports other business women in town. The shop itself is nice and bright and open. I appreciate that even when music is playing it's at the perfect volume to enjoy but I can still work and talk if I need to. (I moved from San Diego proper and a big thing in the shops down there is to have music BLASTING at a volume that's pretty uncomfortable. Can't work/study and if you're with people you are half yelling at one another). If I want coffee or have a friend visiting this is the first place that comes to mind. read more

This place is so cute. I had been meaning to stop in after I caught a glimpse of them on instagram and their uniquely delicious drinks...so I finally did and I was so impressed! It has the cutest vibe with lots to look at from local merchants/artists while you're waiting for your order. I got the Pistacio Lavendar Matcha and it was SOOOO amazing. They have so many interesting drink combos, I may have to go down the line and try them all. I will definitely be making this place a part of my morning routine. read more

We stopped in this new cafe for breakfast and coffee during our stay in Ramona. Service was fantastic, and everything we ordered was so good! We had the açaí bowls, and loved them. Hopefully they will add a gluten free granola option in the future, but their açaí base is delicious. The lavender wildflower latte with pistachio milk was my favorite, the flavor was perfect and not overwhelming, I ordered it both mornings! Saturday at 10:30am, I saw this cute coffee shop as I was about to do some grocery shopping and decided to check it out. The older blonde woman who took our order was curt. No smile, no welcome, and no friendliness at all. There was no one else in line but me and my child. There was one table being used by two women. So a total of three adults and one child. Maybe it was an off day but it was not a welcoming environment at all. The decor was cool and I probably would've bought something but I felt like I was trespassing almost. One star for the coffee because it was strong. Another star because the younger barista with brown curly hair was really sweet and without asking she split my child's smoothie into two cups because she overheard that my son would be sharing his smoothie with his brother. I ordered $25 worth of drinks. A smoothie for my kid, a cold brew for my husband, and espresso shots poured over ice cream. read more
