Dirty Confetti sets up on the patio and plays country while everyone settles in with something cold to drink and something good to eat. No big production. No velvet ropes. Just live music, a laid-back patio, and a crowd that seems perfectly happy to have found the place. I went with the steak sandwich--tender steak, grilled onions, greens, sauce, good bread, and a pile of seasoned potatoes on the side. Nothing precious about it. Just a damn good sandwich. They also have a great selection of local wines and local craft beer, which makes the whole thing feel even more like Ramona. Good food. Cold beer. Local wine. Live music on a Thursday night. I…read morestopped into this Dunkin' early morning, not really expecting more than the basics -- but the way it played out actually left me smiling. I ordered a signature caramel latte, an avocado toast, and a Bavarian cream donut. The latte came out rich and sweet, just enough caramel to keep it smooth without tipping into sugar overload. The avocado toast was fresh and crisp, stacked with creamy avocado that made it feel more like breakfast than just a snack. And the donut? Classic Dunkin' -- soft, filled right, exactly the kind of comfort bite you want with coffee. Here's where it went from good to memorable. The store had only one girl working the counter. You could see she was hustling hard, trying to take care of everyone. It meant the wait was longer than usual, but instead of hiding behind it, she came over, apologized sincerely, and slipped me an extra donut as a thank you for being patient. That small gesture flipped the whole experience -- it wasn't about the donut, it was about feeling noticed and appreciated. The shop itself was clean and relaxed, the donut case stacked, and plenty of seating if you want to sit for a bit. Nothing flashy, but everything in place. Final take: 5 stars, no doubt. Sometimes it's the little human touches that make an ordinary coffee run feel like a win.

Absolutely awful service…read more This waitress here needs a serious lesson in customer service, basic manners, and humility. From the second I walked in, she was rude, arrogant, dismissive, and behaved as though serving me was somehow beneath her. She took forever to come over, acted like acknowledging me was a personal burden, and carried herself with an attitude that was completely out of place for someone whose job is literally serving in a mom and pop joint in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile, she had no problem hovering around and repeatedly checking on other tables. That kind of selective attention does not go unnoticed. If you work in a small local restaurant, treating customers with contempt is not confidence. It is simply bad service and terrible business sense. Get an education. Maybe take a class or two in customer service and business ethics before bringing a sorry attitude to the very customers who keep the doors of your business open in this economy. And here is a lesson worth remembering: never underestimate a customer. The person ordering a $20 lunch could very well be the person who leaves a $200 tip when treated exceptionally well. You have no idea who is sitting in front of you or how many other customers they may send your way. A customer should never have to compete for basic courtesy. Lose the arrogance. Learn some manners. Learn what hospitality actually means. Treat people poorly and they will simply take their money elsewhere. That is exactly what I did, and I would not return.

Metal chairs and wooden booth/bench that lines the front and side of the restaurant. Pillows are spread across the booth/bench for those needing a little back support. We were seated quickly and our waitress addressed us promptly, which is much appreciated. I ordered the nonalcoholic blackberry mojito. It took all of my might not to drink it all at once. So refreshing, not overly sweet. We ordered the Brussel sprouts appetizer, which appeared faster than we had expected. Yummy I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with the fried chicken. He ordered the burger. Fettuccine light but with excellent flavor, the fried chicken was moist and not over coated. The burger was oozing with beef juices. Although his mashed potatoes were a bit dry, the gravy was very tasty. I'd say the atmosphere is casual, but not shorts and tank casual. Definitely not business casual or dressy. The staff were all so kind and checked in on us and attended to our needs when requested. Go in and check it out for yourself, you won't regret it. That commitment to quality and sustainability is commendable and something more restaurants should strive for. The staff is knowledgeable, and it's refreshing to see a restaurant that cares about where its food comes from. Unfortunately, that attention to ingredient sourcing seems to stop when it comes to cooking oils. Many of the menu items are prepared with soybean oil, which was disappointing given the otherwise high-quality and health-conscious image of the restaurant. Soybean oil is highly processed and contains large amounts of omega-6 polyunsaturated fats. While omega-6 fats are essential in moderation, excessive consumption relative to omega-3 intake has been associated with increased inflammation in some research. Soybean oil is also more susceptible to oxidation when exposed to high cooking temperatures, potentially producing compounds that some studies suggest may contribute to oxidative stress. In addition, many health-conscious consumers actively avoid industrial seed oils such as soybean, corn, and canola oils in favor of alternatives like olive oil, avocado oil, butter, or tallow. I would gladly give Marinade on Main a higher rating if they aligned their cooking oils with the same local, high-quality standards they apply to the rest of their ingredients. Switching to avocado oil or olive oil or beef talo would be a welcome improvement and would better match the restaurant's otherwise impressive commitment to quality. * also loose the standard strip of high fructose sodas and provide more natural optikns of drinks ...
