After birding and indoor bouldering, I wanted a snack and it was hot today so the first thing that came in mind was fresh fruit with lemon, tajin and chamoy. Probably I was losing salt and water today so thats what my body wanted, so I delivered. Yelp ranked this place high and it was 10min from where I was so I stopped in this afternoon. This place was busy when I came here and I might have been the only non Spanish speaking person here but I felt right at home. Owner was nice to me and I asked for a fruit cup, he showed me the medium and the large and since I was pretty parched, I went with the large. I asked for mango, jicama and cucumber and hold the watermelon. In a few minutes, my order was ready and it was so delicious. I sat outside on one of their tables and enjoyed my refreshing afternoon snack. Prices very reasonable and not charging me $15, staff very nice and fruit was fresh and refreshing. Easy parking too. Wow just discovered this place today. We were getting pur nails done at a new place and afterward went in here. I thought it was a corn place and explained it to mt Mom who was visiting. They had some corn, but the big attraction was creamy Mexican ice cream and fruit bars. Such a. Unusual choice of homemade flavors. After a few same tastes. I got the pine nut and mom got a ice cream with a cake bar inside. I really liked mine which had delicate pine nuts throughout and the base was like a light cherry, he said it had pine nuts in the base that it should be piny. .But it didn't taste piney to me.It was just very light, creamy and flavorful. My mom really enjoyed hers. It was like a vanilla and strawberry ice cream with a chocolate covered cake with raspberry or cherry filling inside The man at the counter, was very helpful. He described it as kind of like a twinkie with cherry filling. To me it had a odd overtone but she loved it. She wants to go back for the corn. I would definitely go back to try some of their other flavors, which were very colorful. There was one that was called monster cookie that was bright blue. They even had a mole one that I sampled. Amazing variety of paletas ice cream bars! I have tried at least half a dozen already, flavors like Nutella, strawberry, mango, even cotton candy and I liked them all. In all my travels around the globe the sorbet at Ke Lolo is hands down the best of the best. This mango sorbet is what summer dreams are made of and my family enjoyed each bite. We experienced excellent customer service and learned a lot about how they make their sorbets because the owner took the time to explain the process. I cant say enough about this vendor. Such a great hit at my wedding this Sept. Carlos was proactive at making sure we had everything he needed to operate his cart. Their Cheeto-esquites are really good! Great customer service with very clean and spacious indoor seating. I definitely plan to try more of their menu in the future. Update: Their bionicos are so good! The fruit is ripe and tastes fresh. It's also a very large portion. The place was very clean and the employees are so friendly. I'll update every time I try something new here. Update: Chamango is yummy and either kind of "regular" size or ridiculously large! I enjoy visiting this mom-and-pop. I had to come check out this place after all the five star reviews and the experience certainly correlated with them. Although we already have a few of these Mexican fruit bars in the area, this one sets itself apart from the rest due to the fact the owners are very friendly and welcoming. They also have something I have never seen, a build-your-own concept where you start off with a crunchy chip base such as spicy tostitos (used in tostilocos), takis, churros, etc and you go down the line choosing all the toppings you desire for a flat fee. I opted for the small "crazy cup" and that was enough for me. My girlfriend got the "esquite" and she said it was the best esquite she ever had. There should be way more places like this. The only guy working there was really kind, he walked us through the menu and was patient with us through the whole candy-choosing process. The elote was warm and delicious, and the hot Cheetos on top were crushed to perfection. I'm really sorry to say, that was the worst chamango drink I have ever had :( The chamoy must have been extremely weak, I barely tasted it. I even added more into my drink and still didn't taste the chamoy. Didn't like the mango ice cream or sherbet they used. Felt like I was drinking a Kerns Nectar mango juice. The tostilocos tasted great but for those who has never had tostilocos, it's crucial that you put some sauces on it (like hot sauce). I was thrown off a little because the tostilocos didn't have sauce in it, I had to put it myself which was a first for me Also, the proportion of the tostilocos was a little weird for me.
