I went in yesterday with a friend of mine to get some carts and edibles. I went in to get it off the rec menu. I had never been there before and was impressed with the kiosks at first. My friend who has been a regular there helped me get to the rec menu and place my order. I get to the counter and give my name and all of a sudden the guy checking me out says everything I ordered is medical only and I cannot purchase any of it. Tell me to try and go back to the kiosk and re do my order. There is a line of people and I KNOW what I picked was off the rec menu. I ordered off the same thing my friend did who got his order with no issue. To tell me in front of a full shop that I can't buy a cart and 10mg gummies when they are clearly not medical only. No help trying to rectify the situation or an explanation. Seems the employees don't know how to ring things up properly. If you have a kiosk doing all the work for you I'm not sure how it got mixed up. Being obviously gay I'm not sure if that had something to do with it and why I was just dismissed to the back of the line so I left, got the SAME EXACT things from Nirvana down the street and was treated with respect and given 25% off for it being my first time. I will never go to this dispensary again , terrible customer service and maybe even prejudice. read more

Had a awesome experience since going here but today has really rocked me.i had a cashier get confused about what she was doing when I explained to her that she had it right the first time she got upset.This is where it changed my life.she slammed my license on the counter slam the change.i said to her you need to learn better customer service.Her response was you are bitch ass nigga acted as if she wanted to come from behind the counter,her co workers had to hold her back..she called me all types of niggas.Even said to me you ain't Nothing but another street nigga.I was so embarrassed. No need to speak to a manager when they just finished smoking a doobie and gonna ask "bro what the big deal?" AVOID AT ALL COSTS! - Manager was rude and took every route to avoid helping me. Keep in mind that this place scans your license when you walk in, has camera footage of you shopping, and runs your debit card for the sale, yet they still need the PAPER receipt in order to honor any returns on failed products.... not "I changed my mind" or "I didn't like it", but the item DIDN'T WORK. This places also uses very obvious fake reviews on g00gle to bury the honest one star reviews. read more

Since Maryland has gone recreational I have been a huge fan of the Ascend dispensary in Aberdeen. However they were out of full gram carts so I chose to go to RISE. RISE offered an insane deal of three full gram carts for 109 before tax which is a pretty good deal. When I showed up for the first time they were not welcoming at all and did not even give me my first time buyer discount. Also, while I was putting my change in my wallet, the budtender wanted to keep shoving the bag towards me and bitching about some girl in the shop. I just feel like in an environment like this with plenty of first timers who have never even consumed or been in your shop, you need a better personal connection with your customers. read more

Came in yesterday after not being there for a while. I was uncomfortable with the tablet ordering screen so a beautiful young lady helped me. She was so pleasant & even checked to see what I ordered the last time I was there months ago. I forget her name but she had 2 toned curly hair. Black & orange. I was then helped by a taller gentlemen & he was very nice as well. With a staff like this, I will be returning. read more
