They show they close at 8pm but in reality close whenever they feel like it. Then when you finally are able to walk in to drop off your molds to get replacement retainers they forget to call you to let you know they're ready for pick up so you have to call the next day yourself. Then when you pick them up they don't fit comfortably so you try calling to setup a appt to get them trimmed to fit comfortably on your teeth they hang up on you multiple times all for simply wanting to set an appt to get your retainers to fit properly. A week and half later still without proper fitting retainers. Hopefully another dentist can get the job done that I paid risas for :) Save your $ and pay the extra premium to find a place that actually cares about your teeth. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! If I could rate them zero Stars I would. I came in to get a tooth filled that had two cavities under an old silver filling. Here is my unpleasant experience. After the x-ray they came in to numb my mouth to fill the tooth. I had novocaine shooting out of my mouth and inside my entire mouth and tongue. They wouldn't suction that out till I waved at them I needed to be suctioned. During the procedure they had to stop and numb me more when I felt pain. When released the biting surface was extremely rough. A week & 1/2 later I came back to have that smoothed out they drilled more without Novocaine. The dentist had such a hard hand he pushed his instruments inside the jaw bone. I had to ask him not to put that much pressure on because it was hurting me all they said was we have to move your tongue. I was informed that I had to have a root canal and a crown IMMEDIATELY. I need additional fillings on additional teeth. I asked for pricing they did not give me a price. During that week my gums bled. I thought I might have had an infection. I went to a different dentist for a second opinion and the old silver filling was still underneath of the white filling, they said it should never have happened that way and they should have put a crown on top of the new filling because it's such a large feeling that it can crack my tooth. My route was fine and there was no sign of infection. That was over two weeks ago and I'm still in pain. read more

I was referred to this dental clinic by my insurance for emergency services. I had a massive tooth ache and the dentist told me I had to have two teeth removed. The office sent my prescription to Walgreens when I told them to send it to CVS. I called several times to get the prescription sent to CVS. I was told that I would get a call back twice... they did not call. The third time I called and after 3 days of trying to get my prescription, I found out that they sent it to Walgreens. I developed an infection and am sick. Very incompetent staff. I would not go there again! read more

We had a good experience at this location. My husband and I went in for a cleaning and it went so smooth that my husband decided to get braces. From the very beginning, the team was professional and responsive. Fabiola was especially helpful, taking the time to explain the entire cleaning/braces process and answering all my questions. I went to Risas office based on my very old aunt experience who is 70 years old and Risas are truly great , affordable and provide high level overview over everything along with payment plans with insurance and without insurance. A real dental you can depend when in pain. The care is spectacular and appointment is very faster. They allow free walking for consultations. Rarely seen true care Doctor services for a nominal price. Key is care with quality but reasonable price. read more

I was seen very quickly and the staff was very helpful. I received an itemized listing of the work that I would need, the Doctor was very thorough in his examination and the Dental Assistants were very helpful in explaining all of the cost and taking X-rays. My one concern is the cost for all of the work because its very high and seemed a bit excessive. Truly an incredible experience. I had a horrible experience with another agency because they kept rescheduling me without asking first and tried to do unnecessary procedures. Risas was the complete opposite. I was able to get a same day appointment. The staff were friendly & they handled themselves professionally. The assistants, Yessica & Irvana, took their time to explain the process & helped promote quality care. The dentist, Dr. Tapia, listened to my concerns & was flexible with fitting me in his schedule. I was told at another agency that I would need extra procedures not covered by insurance and Dr. Tapia reviewed my scans, redid the scan, and assured me they were NOT needed. I only needed 1 fill. Many agencies act like businesses and they want to profit off of you, but at Risas, they value actual patient care. I would 100% recommend them to others. read more

Great place to get your teeth done, The staff are really nice and caring never had a bad experience!

I came in for a regular cleaning and checkup. The lobby is nice and tidy with enough room to social distance. Check in was a breeze! From there the X-rays was painless and easy. Once in the exam room dr Tapia and Yesenia were very informative about my dental hygiene. I did need some fillings but was able to see all of my teeth by taking a tooth tour of all my teeth. It made the decision easy to get everything taken care of today. Dr was very communicative of what he was doing and checked in on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing okay. I give the visit 5 stars for cleanliness, ease of checkin in, attentiveness by the dr and assistant and the upbeat and positive experience they provided. It's right down the road from work so will definitely use this location (they have many around the valley) again for my 6 month check up. Only feedback would be to allow patients to schedule their 6 month check up in advance since they can only schedule out 3 months in advance. read more

Still having the same experience. The staff is great the only complaints I have after two years are : 1. The wait times, holy heck they are absolutely the worst! No one should ever have to wait over 45 mins to and hour for a simple wire change on braces. Make sure you prepare to wait, bring a snack or a book 2. The level of music in the office. Last time i checked we were not at a rave or a club. It's insane! Even my 14 and 17 year old are constantly saying " what?" Because they can not hear the dentists or their assistants. Other than that we are still enjoying our experience here and have recommended them to many people. read more

Worst experience from the front office and care we will not be coming back to this office. it shouldn't take over two months for a root canal and crown. My daughter was in pain while they figure there shit out . why did I come here if they're goin to send us somewhere else to do the root canal cause they weren't experience enough to do it themselves and we had to comeback for them to do the crown I could've just done everything with that one office they sent us to! I was skeptical about going here always gone to private dentist. I decided to go never have I ever been so satisfied with a Dentist (Dr.Tapia) and staff (Norma) as I am now. He listened to my concerns and needs. I have severe anxiety when it comes to Dentist but he made the process very smooth informed me of everything that was going to happen and expect. Staff from the front to the back was absolutely awesome and the music playing is good to distract you. I have found my dentist and staff that's for sure! Defiantly recommend for you to make your appt here. Ohh and also we all know dentist as super expensive despite having insurance they have payment plans y'all like reasonable payments .
