Such a great visit! Irvanna was amazing with my debonding, and Thalia and Dr. Tapia were awesome as always for my cleaning.

I was referred to this dental clinic by my insurance for emergency services. I had a massive tooth ache and the dentist told me I had to have two teeth removed. The office sent my prescription to Walgreens when I told them to send it to CVS. I called several times to get the prescription sent to CVS. I was told that I would get a call back twice... they did not call. The third time I called and after 3 days of trying to get my prescription, I found out that they sent it to Walgreens. I developed an infection and am sick. Very incompetent staff. I would not go there again! read more

I went to Risas office based on my very old aunt experience who is 70 years old and Risas are truly great , affordable and provide high level overview over everything along with payment plans with insurance and without insurance. A real dental you can depend when in pain. The care is spectacular and appointment is very faster. They allow free walking for consultations. Rarely seen true care Doctor services for a nominal price. Key is care with quality but reasonable price. read more

Truly an incredible experience. I had a horrible experience with another agency because they kept rescheduling me without asking first and tried to do unnecessary procedures. Risas was the complete opposite. I was able to get a same day appointment. The staff were friendly & they handled themselves professionally. The assistants, Yessica & Irvana, took their time to explain the process & helped promote quality care. The dentist, Dr. Tapia, listened to my concerns & was flexible with fitting me in his schedule. I was told at another agency that I would need extra procedures not covered by insurance and Dr. Tapia reviewed my scans, redid the scan, and assured me they were NOT needed. I only needed 1 fill. Many agencies act like businesses and they want to profit off of you, but at Risas, they value actual patient care. I would 100% recommend them to others. read more

I was seen very quickly and the staff was very helpful. I received an itemized listing of the work that I would need, the Doctor was very thorough in his examination and the Dental Assistants were very helpful in explaining all of the cost and taking X-rays. My one concern is the cost for all of the work because its very high and seemed a bit excessive. I am getting an second opinion to verify the cost but overall I appreciate the service I received. read more

I came in for a regular cleaning and checkup. The lobby is nice and tidy with enough room to social distance. Check in was a breeze! From there the X-rays was painless and easy. Once in the exam room dr Tapia and Yesenia were very informative about my dental hygiene. I did need some fillings but was able to see all of my teeth by taking a tooth tour of all my teeth. It made the decision easy to get everything taken care of today. Dr was very communicative of what he was doing and checked in on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing okay. I give the visit 5 stars for cleanliness, ease of checkin in, attentiveness by the dr and assistant and the upbeat and positive experience they provided. It's right down the road from work so will definitely use this location (they have many around the valley) again for my 6 month check up. Only feedback would be to allow patients to schedule their 6 month check up in advance since they can only schedule out 3 months in advance. read more

Worst experience from the front office and care we will not be coming back to this office. it shouldn't take over two months for a root canal and crown. My daughter was in pain while they figure there shit out . why did I come here if they're goin to send us somewhere else to do the root canal cause they weren't experience enough to do it themselves and we had to comeback for them to do the crown I could've just done everything with that one office they sent us to! Still having the same experience. The staff is great the only complaints I have after two years are : 1. The wait times, holy heck they are absolutely the worst! No one should ever have to wait over 45 mins to and hour for a simple wire change on braces. Make sure you prepare to wait, bring a snack or a book 2. The level of music in the office. Last time i checked we were not at a rave or a club. It's insane! Even my 14 and 17 year old are constantly saying " what?" Because they can not hear the dentists or their assistants. Other than that we are still enjoying our experience here and have recommended them to many people. read more

I was skeptical about going here always gone to private dentist. I decided to go never have I ever been so satisfied with a Dentist (Dr.Tapia) and staff (Norma) as I am now. He listened to my concerns and needs. I have severe anxiety when it comes to Dentist but he made the process very smooth informed me of everything that was going to happen and expect. Staff from the front to the back was absolutely awesome and the music playing is good to distract you. I have found my dentist and staff that's for sure! Defiantly recommend for you to make your appt here. Ohh and also we all know dentist as super expensive despite having insurance they have payment plans y'all like reasonable payments . I can honestly say I will be able to take better care of my teeth here and less stress. read more

believe me tell everyone to avoid getting teeth worked on here at risas dental and braces tempe location the dentist that replaced Dr. Doson the Dr. believes in malpractice the Dr. is money hungry and will cut corners to make a buck I went in for a two Partials and a two crowns and he insisted working on minor cavities on molars that weren't my main priority inferring it's irgent their worked on right away once in the chair while drilling on my teeth he told me he went to school to create video games but couldn't create so he takes advantage of people who desperately need work done on their teeth he said people want their teeth done perfect so he leaves Cavities underneath the feelings to rot from the inside out or partially filled them on purpose all the teeth he filled are cracking and braking while eating and he's still demanding me to finish making payments after charging my insurance before he fixes them isn't that why there is payments plans they do the work on your teeth and you pay as you go he never got to my partials and when drilling my tooth that needs a crown he cracked my k9 I asked him to fix his mistake of cracking my k9 and said it will costed me and he's refusing to give me a temporary cap on the tooth behind the k9 he cracked until I finish making payments for the teeth he worked on that are cracking and not fully filled I didn't catch his name but I post his name on a later date but let the world know they replaced Dr. Doson with a money hungry Scoundrel he's heavy set white male 45-55 years in age and has blue eyes I give risas dental and braces -5 stars ever since Dr. Doson left I want to take it to court read more

Just wanted to say dr tapia did a great job on my cleaning and root canal I would recommend Dr. Tapia but now to my un happiness they put a temporary crown on me it fell off, so they told me to come in on Monday to see him he was not in so they started gave me the runaround saying they couldn't do it because Dr. Tapia was not in told me to come back the next day came back and told me I would have to wait three hours or come back at 7:30 pm which at the time was 4 PM told them I cannot come back they were just giving me the runaround I am so unhappy with this place. Clean, friendly and professional, they've got that balancing act down ‍ Everyone I have encountered or witnessed in this office are so friendly and kind. A previous comment that said otherwise is what provoked me into leaving review; one said comments about some employees having an attitude problem; the only reason that I can conclude is "perception" or "projection" because that's not a true picture of this office. The staff are so friendly in fact...I thought they must start with a morning ritual before opening; like a proactive morale and attitude booster; to foster an environment that's more productive and rewarding for the whole team. They honestly appear to enjoy the process! It seems they have created a fulfilling and challenging work environment.
