It definitely wasn't because we stole something, as the police check of our shopping bags found nothing taken. I got an apology from management days later after I filed a complaint, but this doesn't seem like an isolated incident based on my interaction with one of the policemen that did the search, and the fact that none of the employees in the almost-empty CVS store made any attempt talk to us about the alleged theft before, or to apologize for the false accusation and the terror my sister and I faced in interacting with 3 armed policemen as black people. You can get your vaccine and booster here as a walk-in (tho appointments might speed up the process) - the pharmacist is Incredible (and also fittingly dressed as a Disney Incredible during a vaccine event in Media school district). My 22 yo's boyfriend is from Boston; they went w/o an appointment today and got their boosters with no problem and barely any wait, and no issue that he was out of state. I'm switching my prescriptions to this pharmacy for "normal" times, and hope they'll be around a long after Covid!!
