**Additional info: 6/24/2012: Found an excellent new…read moredermatologist and needed our records sent to them from Associates in Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology. Got a bill for $77.00 for copying our records. We've only been with this office for less than 4 years. Do you really think there was $77 dollars worth of REASONABLE COST-BASED FEES. Doubtful after they charged us for an appointment we didn't make. If there was a 0 rating this would get it!.. VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THEY EVEN CHANGED THEIR NAME AND LOCATION A FEW MONTHS BACK TO... BRINTON LAKE in Glen Mills, PA. ********* I can't believe more people haven't written reviews for this place. The people answering the phones... receptionists, nurses, etc are some of the rudest people I've dealt with on the phone... says something. When I wanted a well check-up for more than 2 issues they said I had to schedule a 2nd appointment because they just couldn't see me for everything. The reception area was completely empty with 4 people behind the 'velvet rope.' This doesn't include the nurse practitioner I saw. The service is so infuriating. It takes at least 3 phone calls to get a prescription refilled. Their M.O. is actually not to fill re-fills without another appointment... another $30 just to get a prescription filled. Even our pharmacist says they are scamming the public to pay them more money. Both my husband and I go here. Neither us go for cosmetic purposes. It's not like we're annoying them to get botox, laser work done, or collagen. Geez you'd think doctors would actually care about your health!?.

Just an interesting observation…read more.. I recently made an appointment to see the only Physician's Assistant in a different dermatology office where I have been seeing a doctor in Kennett Square for medical dermatology matters. Imagine my surprise when the P.A. came into the examining room and was none other than the P.A. who had treated me at Brinton Lake many times. He recognized me immediately by name but made no reference to the fact that he had changed jobs. I did not ask him why he had left his previous job since I knew he would not tell me anything since that would be unprofessional on his part. I had seen him there over a number of years. If they treat their patients in such a poor manner I wonder how they treat their employees. I still have never been treated so horribly in a doctors' office. Luckily they are not the only fish in the sea!

Went in for Botox above eyebrows and between. I'm fairly young and actually have next to no…read morewrinkles, but noticed that my glasses have started to strain my eyes and cause some slight wrinkling. Anyway, went in for 25 units- which I've been told by other plastic surgeons is what would be recommended. He (poojas husband) insisted I needed at least 35 units which is insane. I could also tell that he was irritated that I was not giving in to his up-well attempt. Syringes were prefilled, which isn't abnormal, however, when done this way there is no way to know how much saline the dr is mixing with the product. Some doctors will try and increase their margins by adding more saline than is recommended, which will make the product less effective or not last as long, which is what I suspect is the case here. Results looked great at first, but faded within three weeks. Botox that is mixed correctly should last around 3-4 months. Would not go back.

I purposefully waited 3 months before writing a review so I could be fair. I've had botox about 4…read moretimes previous and loved it every time. Came here because of Groupon deal. The Dr was adamant 25 in glabella and 10 in the forehead even after I explained I've never needed that much & I dont want the frozen look. I offered it was even ok if there were still some wrinkles I just wanted to shave off a couple years. Long story short, I've ended up with a droopy eyebrow, both eyebrows frozen and facial pain (in the injected areas) for months. Some of these are noted side effects but I've never had them happen with other places. In reading reviews, doesn't HIPAA prevent discussing patients medical records.
