Used to be very dependable. in recent months, scripts are not being delivered when promised, leaving me without medications that should not be interrupted. No reason or apology offered. I was in need of some bandaids after some blisters formed from playing tennis so I decided to pick some up at Babis Pharmacy. Babis Pharmacy has an old school feel to it, which I like. When you walk in you are greeted with the register to the right and a bunch of luxury, children's toys straight ahead. The entire store is carpeted, which gives it a real community feel. The store is stocked with everything you need and more. Snacks, toys, cards and pharmaceutical needs. In fact, Babis Pharmacy has a very large pharmacy in the back that seems to be very popular among customers. One thing I love about Babis Pharmacy is their candy counter. They sell all sorts of all fashioned candy along with chocolate covered pretzels and fudge. It looked so good that I had to pick up some chocolate for myself. The cashier was very nice and helpful as well. They have a nice amount of snacks and candys at the checkout counter as well! Altogether, Babis Pharmacy is a great, local pharmacy gift shop and candy store that's good for all your needs! read more

Love this pharmacy! Very old school place with a sincere and pleasant staff. Their prices are discounted to compete with the chains. Their candy, gift, and card section is always well stocked with everything we need. The pharmacist's are so nice and accommodating - especially Rich, he is always such a gentleman. There one one issue I had w/ Babis seems to have been resolved. There was a 50 something aged woman who worked the pharmacy for a bunch of years - sometimes she was nice and many other times was bordering on rude and abrasive. I never said anything to the management, since I decided she would eventually be fired because of her attitude. I recently noticed that she does not seem be be employed there anymore. Good riddance! I only wish the management had dealt with it sooner. read more

This place is pretty cool. The front desk ladies are always nice and treat you like they know you, calling you "honey" and "sweetie" and all that. Their items can be pretty pricey when it comes to things like soap, shampoo, various toiletries, etc. Mostly my co-workers and I patronize for snacks cause my salon is across the street, and the prices for that stuff is the same you'd find anywhere else. I told the lady behind the counter one day that I loved the cheetos puffcorns and she said she would order them and has kept them in stock ever since. They definitely get 5 stars for that. They also have a great selection of greeting cards, and I'm always looking to find one that really makes the recipient laugh. They have a whole gift and home made candy part of the store that I've never personally used, but have many clients that rave about the selection and service, so I guess it must be good! Never used the actual pharmacy either, but it seems like a cool old-school type place and probably has that old fashioned customer service to match. read more

We've been using Babis since we moved out here 12 years ago. There's a little bit of everything drug-store-like here (candy, pencils, magazines, snacks, over the counter meds, gift items.) However, the true highlight is the pharmacists and techs. Our family has had several serious health issues and, as a consequence,we have gotten to know a lot about the pharm staff. They are knowledgeable, caring, friendly, work to track down medications and take the time to know you. Staff turn over is very low so you're able to establish an ongoing rapport with the pharm staff. They accept Rx plans, have house accounts that you can pay monthly and will deliver anything they sell to your door. That they are a local small business is a big added plus. read more

I am willing to drive for the service and attention I receive at an independent pharmacy. Babis has been a great choice for me. When I needed medicine delivered on very short order, the pharmacy had two plans to get the medicine to me. They've asked great questions about substitutions as a way to hold down my costs. Best retail business in the area and by far a superior team of staff. Rite Aid and CVS - you could take a page from the Babis book.

There is a very short wait for prescriptions. They go out of their way for the customer. The pharmacist is extremely nice. I would pick this pharmacy any time over their big box competitors. read more
