Mole Chicken enchiladas-only on Monday nights!

Excellent! I had the best Mole Chicken enchiladas ever and (the mole sauce was what did it) my husband said that all burritos should taste like the one he had! Also he said was the best burrito he has ever eaten. The chips were also extremely fresh and a good salsa that had great flavor without heat, as I can't handle spicy! Service was friendly and quick. Lots of tables outside to enjoy your food and the awesome view of the mountains!

I've never been creative when it comes to Mexican food, but after reading what al pastor meant, I wanted to try it. I ordered the three taco plate and had one al pastor, one chorizo, and one birria taco. Pineapple on a pork taco was a first for me and won't be a last! They gave me one of each sauce so I experimented with the heat also. It was so good, after I washed my hands the dog wouldn't stop licking my fingers!

Pretty good food. Carne asada burrito was big and flavorful. Pastor tacos were good but I did think it was weird that the pineapples were fresh, not cooked. Usually al pastor will have the pineapples cooked with the meat. The regular taco meat tacos, sadly, weren't very good. We brought them home then they got thrown away. And I had to pay for roasted jalapeños with my tacos. Overall a pretty good place to stop for lunch. Outside dining was lovely.

Nachos were fantastic and filling for 2 people! In fact 4 of us shared them. The bar is actually outside and that was really cool and unique. You order your food inside but it would be hard to eat inside because the area is quite small. We ate outside on this hot sunny day and thoroughly enjoyed our cold beer. Chilaquiles we're ok. Not how I have had them before. I thought the cut up tortillas were supposed to be soggy with scrambled eggs and oil. But these were more like nachos with some hard chips and some soggy ones. It was odd but not bad tasting. They were topped with crema and queso. The stuffed jalapeños were excellent and the biggest I've ever seen! They came out hot and wrapped in sizzling bacon. They are stuffed with chorizo and cheese. Interesting and a must order item.

A nice dog-friendly outdoor seating area, and a friendly staff, make this restaurant appealing. The food is much like what you'd expect from a food truck (I suspect that they formerly were a food truck, but don't know). We had tacos: a taco plate (3 tacos with rice and beans) and 3 à la carte tacos -- we tried carnitas, fish, and carne asada -- each of which had a tack-on additional price (75₵ for carnitas 99₵ for fish and carne asada). I guess that chicken is standard, and these others aren't. The sauces were good (different spice levels and flavors), and the tacos came on soft corn tortillas. The carne asada and carnitas both had some flavor, but not as much as you'd expect. The fish, described as mahi-mahi, was a white fish, and it was cooked without being deep fried (which is good), and came with a white sauce (pretty standard). Each taco had cilantro, onions, and lots of shredded iceberg lettuce. I would describe the food as adequate, but unfortunately somewhat uninspired, not being particularly flavorful and with the iceberg lettuce actually detracting from the quality. So, there's nothing wrong with their food, but it's not so good that I long to go back.

OMG this is the best Mexican food I've ever had and I've been to Mexico. I want them to cater my wedding. Chilaquiles burrito = sent from Jesus himself. And the nice old man has such a dad vibe. Makes me feel like I'm sitting down in his kitchen for dinner. Can not recommend enough. read more

I had the big burrito and lster the chicken enchalada with mole sauce and breakfast taco. I liked them all but the chicken enchalada with mole (molay) sauce was my favorite. The owner was friendly and really wanted you to find something that you could enjoy, Prices were low to moderate and service was a little slow at busy times. read more

I love the retro interior with small red cafeteria style tables lined up inside of their tiny sliver of a dining room. We ordered 14 of the mahi mahi, carne asada, and chorizo tacos to split between the two of us. The meats are so tender, succulent, savory, and flavorful. I was definitely NOT expecting to find such delicious Mexican street style tacos in a mostly white small town like North Bend...This has become my go to place to fill up calories after hiking Rattle Snake. Top 3 Mexican joint in all of Washington hands down. read more

Nestled in North Bend this restaurant is family owned and has a lot to offer. The seating is a little packed, which you know that is an indication that the food is good. The carne asada and al pastor tacos are savory and pack a punch. Just remember the green sauce is in the yellow mustard container and the red sauce is in the ketchup colored container. The staff is also very nice. read more

So I'm Mexican and that gives me high credentials and authority to rate this. So here it goes: Super tasty I want to steal their recipes. Just really delicious and far from Taco Time, which is sad food. The restaurant Now, it's a tiny place. Nothing fancy at all, you come here for a tasty treat, not a date. My favorite Mexican restaurant I've visited so far since being in Washington state. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is either passing through north bend, or who is craving good Mexican food(trust me, the drive will be WORTH IT). I was on my way from a 6hr drive back home and ran into rush hour traffic. I was really hungry and decided to look for a place at the next exit to help refuel myself. I didn't have a chance to look through the reviews extensively but I saw that they had 4 stars, and some of the photos of the food from previous guests looked DELICIOUS! So I just had to check it out. It's in a discreet area but not hard to locate. Parking is a little weird as there isn't much room to back up until you run into the road, so you'll have to make a couple 3 point turns. When you walk in the place is really really small, perhaps 6 tables. I walked up to the person behind the register and was greeted really kindly. I asked her what she recommended for somebody for their first time her and she said the enchiladas. So I got that and while I was paying she asked me if I wanted to have a try of their horchata(hope I'm spelling it correctly) and it was delicious. Not too sweet. Together the total cost was about $13 so not too bad. I had finished the cup of my horchata by the time the food came out(took it to-go by the way) and kindly was offered a free refill. I thought that was special. What wasn't so special once was the enchiladas. There was no particularly wrong with them, but nothing about them "wowed" me at the same time. No great flavors, just a enchilada that tasted like a decent. Overall the food wasn't spectacular but the kind service of the family restaurant was enough to make my first experience a good one, though I'm uncertain if I would go back there again if other options were available. read more

This is the go to place in north bend. Unbelievably good Mexican food. Best margarita in town. After enjoying a quick hike around Snoqualmie, my daughter and I were on a twin peaks pilgrimage. We stumbled upon this gem of a diner while exploring the north bend. An absolute must. I now compare every restaurant with how it compares to rio bravo. My daughter can confirm. 5/5 read more

Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious. This was soooo Good! I had the best chilaquiles of my life. The green sauce was so tasty and the chorizo was so good and spicy! It did not take long for our food to be delivered. The service was astounding! They gave me everything I needed before I even had to ask for it. The workers felt like old friends. My first visit here after having driven by many times. I should not have waited! Being my first time, I decided to order a Burrito, which I am now calling the "That's What She Said" Burrito, because when I brought it home, my wife exclaimed "WOW, that's huge!!!" :-) Not only huge, but awesome flavor as well; the ingredients tasted real fresh. Saw some people eating Huevos Rancheros, which I think will be my next item to try. Very nice people work here as well. Definitely a 5 star place in my book! read more

Me and my family have been going to Rio Bravo since they opened, it's a great low key restaurant with authentic food. I live and work in North Bend and recommend them to people all the time if they're not familiar with the area. I'm a big fan of their lengua or pastor taco plate and their soups are on point, especially the pozole. Definitely check em out, you won't be disappointed! read more

Everything you love about living in the PNW. Burgers are solid, fries are creative and crispy. Chicken sandwich has too much sauce (almost like a chili sauce, like a sweet glaze with a little kick). My son ordered Forager's Burrito and he was disappointed as it seemed to be dominately potatoes and very little of the other ingredients. My bride ordered the Black Lentil bowl and made the assumption the base would be warm, but her experience was all of the ingredients were chilled. For us, beyond the friendly service the food was a disappointing miss.

I had a bacon cheeseburger with the works and extra pickles, and added an extra patty. What? Don't judge! I was hungry since I hadn't eaten anything all day. Of course I had to have some onion rings to go with. Delicious and cooked perfectly. Will be coming back again for sure for other menu items. A welcome addition to the neighborhood! I had Rio Bravo cater my office lunch meeting today and it was a huge hit! We had tacos for 8 people...and I could not believe how generous the servings were! They supplied us with 3 kinds of meat, beans, rice, tortillas, cilantro, limes, 2 types of sauteed onions, chips and 3 types of salsa! The food was hot, fresh and delicious...everyone had seconds! Super easy to set up, serve and clean up. Bravo!!!! read more

Ok YUM. I ordered the sopes and couldn't decide on the meat(chorizo, al pastor or carne asada). The service was super awesome and they gave me one of each. The al pastor and chorizo were my favorite, all were great. Nice portions and the horchata was amazing. The green salsa was the winner over the red, used 4 total because I am a salsa freak. This place is super cool! Obviously a local spot and one that is extremely well known in North Bend. My girlfriend and I were just traveling through and we found this spot to be super fun, well put together with great food at an amazing price. The food is so dang good! 11 stars if I could give it! Very disappointed by the time I got home 4 miles down road the chips were so soggy I could not eat them. when went back to suggest putting them in a bag not in with hot food was told THANKS, and I heard the girl say under her breath to mind my business. read more

For what it is....in North Bend, I'd say they deserve 5 stars. The food is much better than the previous owners served. It is pretty authentic and the staff is nice. The new owners took it in the right direction. Great home-style Mexican food! read more
