As most homes out here it can be difficult because it's an old house. I spoke to Laura Farris who scheduled a diagnosis appointment. A gentleman came out determine what needed to be done and would come back once the parts were in to complete the job. However, somehow the communication between the repair man and the ordering department did not occur. I contacted Laura and asked her if she would be so kind a follow up. She apologized for the delay and not only followed up, but she made it a priority to make sure the parts would be ordered, and that schedule the repair as soon as they arrived, Laura kept us up to date on the project, Laura is due all the credit for the project being completed. Rings End is very lucky to have someone like Laura working and representing them.

I was looking for a new dead bolt strike plate for my front door that wouldn't lock or stay…read moreclosed. I removed the old plate and brought it with me to Barnum Hardware. A man behind came out from behind the counter to help me. He said my plate was very old and obsolete. He came up with the idea to cit off a center bar on the plate and maybe, just maybe it would latch again with it removed. While I waited for him to return another man was assisting my friend and he was just as helpful to her. We thanked him, paid for our purchases and left. Once home, I put the strike plate back on the door jam and closed the door. It worked! I can close and lock my door again. I'm giving Barnum Hardware and that men that work there a 5 star review. The store itself is like a Mom & Pop shop from the 1970's but what a variety they have. The guys working in there are very nice too. Standouts were Jason and the guy that cut the Plexiglass for me Chris. I was quoted a price of $11.99 on the phone and was only charged $6 dollars. Very happy!!!!!! A+++++++++++++++++ all the way.
