As most homes out here it can be difficult because it's an old house. I spoke to Laura Farris who scheduled a diagnosis appointment. A gentleman came out determine what needed to be done and would come back once the parts were in to complete the job. However, somehow the communication between the repair man and the ordering department did not occur. I contacted Laura and asked her if she would be so kind a follow up. She apologized for the delay and not only followed up, but she made it a priority to make sure the parts would be ordered, and that schedule the repair as soon as they arrived, Laura kept us up to date on the project, Laura is due all the credit for the project being completed. Rings End is very lucky to have someone like Laura working and representing them.

Beyond that, Kristian helped my partner and me select window treatments and even went the extra mile to deliver draperies to our home in Washington Heights. Aside from his excellent taste and eye for detail, Kristian is incredibly personable and just a joy to be around. Someone suggested reaching out to Kristian Middlebrook at Ring's End to help me select paint colors. It was great, since he comes to your house and sees the space--something that's so important. I am incredibly grateful for him and can't imagine having done this project without his help. He is so talented and has such a knack for color selection. The colors were spot-on on the first try! He's basically like having your very own designer. We started with paint color, and I liked him so much that we moved on to wallpaper, then window treatments, and even fabric to recover two chairs. I love it all. In addition to his many talents, he is also a pleasure to work with and makes the process easy and fun. I can't say enough good things about Kristian--he is AMAZING!

A man behind came out from behind the counter to help me. He said my plate was very old and obsolete. He came up with the idea to cit off a center bar on the plate and maybe, just maybe it would latch again with it removed. While I waited for him to return another man was assisting my friend and he was just as helpful to her. We thanked him, paid for our purchases and left. Once home, I put the strike plate back on the door jam and closed the door. It worked! I can close and lock my door again. I'm giving Barnum Hardware and that men that work there a 5 star review. I will never go anywhere else for my hardware needs and my friend agrees.

Standouts were Jason and the guy that cut the Plexiglass for me Chris. I was quoted a price of $11.99 on the phone and was only charged $6 dollars. Very happy!!!!!! A+++++++++++++++++ all the way. The two guys that helped me deserve employee of the month and a bonus. You won't find better help out there in the hardware world.

Forget the big-box stores, don't waste your time and especially your money. Been there done that…read more Going on a recommendation from our local contractor, we made our way to Tubs & Stuff. Our downstairs bathroom ended up being part of our full kitchen remodel and we needed a new toilet and then a new faucet for the kitchen. We stopped in on a Tuesday, few people in the shoproom and ended uip dealing with a great guy, Ken, come to find out he is the owner. Told him what we needed, unfortunately the toilet is a special size (10" rough) so options were limited. Ken showed us multiple options and set us up with a Kohler, same money as the local big box stores and they had a faucet for our kitchen on display, which my wife and I instantaneously loved so Ken staired us in the right direction. Great unit. Ken was very professional and very informative. Toilet and faucet were ordered that day (Tuesday) and entire order was in by Thursday evening. Now I truly judge a place on how bad situations are dealt with and unfortunately we ran into two of them, none of which was any fault of the store. But Ken handled the issues like a champ and truly made the experience even better. The toilet upon install had a hair-line crack in the tank in which water was dripping out once installed. The faucet head button for the spray and regualr flow broke and got stuck in regular mode. I called on a Wednesday afternoon to speak with Ken, he apologized and reassured me that both items would be taken care of immediately. They actually were! New tank for toilet was in next day and faucet head was shipped right to the house. We are totally satisfied with our experience and will not hesitate to use them again for a bathroom remodels and additionally recommend Tubs & Stuff to anyone we can.

The tile sample board was old (she told me this after the fact) 2. That "There is high variation in shades of color and crackle due to the glazing effect." The tile I saw and ordered in the store was denim blue, the tile that arrived is grey. The store manager and Monica said that I would be charged a 25% restocking fee and a additional $85 delivery fee to return the custom tile. I paid almost $2,000. The store refused to take the blame and instead said they can do nothing else. I will never EVER go here again for all my future projects, and will continue to spread the word about the terrible customer service I have experienced. I have never seen anything like this. DO NOT buy your tile here!!
