Jelly Donut, Apple Cider Fritter, Spicy Sausage Kolache, Spinach Pastry This is such a cute little donut shop with such great donut options!! They have both filled and nonfillled donuts, all of which are phenomenal, and such great savory options too!! Super kind staff, they will heat up your items if you want

I'm pretty obsessed with trying tiny bakeries and different donut shops. So if I see something that catches my eye, I'm stopping!! Cute little sign out front and once we walked in, owner himself chatted us up and even gave us extra donuts!! I like trying a little if everything and they offer a "yesterday" box for a discounted price. Y'all know I got the mix of everything!! These donuts are so LIGHT and AIRY and FLUFFY!! I'm obsessed...even the cake donuts had the perfect texture. Y'all need to run to this place before he gets popular and sells out everyday. Do ittttt!!

Found this place randomly. Great amazing donuts place. The guy at the counter was friendly and very welcoming. The donuts looked amazing and the variety was insane, from normal to insanely awesome. One if the greatest donut finds I've found in a long time. Sorry the picture may not do the place justice as it was a to go order. But don't let my horrible picture ruin the experience. Definitely a must visit.

This place is amazing! Absolutely love the donuts. They are incredible like another reviewer said better than Krispy Kreme presentation is outstanding. The ambience is so cute. I will definitely be visiting again.

We were in Dallas for a few days, and staying at a hotel that did not provide breakfast. We needed a quick stop before heading to the presidential library. Decided to give this place a try given the great reviews. It is located in a strip center, in a very busy section of town. It is a small little shop, but it does have a window bar area with seating, and a little table outside on the sidewalk if the weather was good. All the donuts looked fabulous, and it was so hard not to buy more than we could eat in one sitting! I chose a cronut, that turned out to be so delicious, soft, flaky, and amazing I would be back in a heartbeat if I could. We both ordered flavored coffees, and my boyfriend, who is a much more of a coffee connoisseur than I am, kept raving about how smooth and flavorful the coffee was. The staff behind the counter is very friendly and welcoming. It was just a delight to eat there. Definitely check this place out!

Employee working on Sunday greeted us right when we entered. He was super friendly and helpful! We got there around 11am and they close at 1. Their offerings were definitely depleted. They also had boxes of day old donuts available. We ordered Boston Cremes, blueberry, raspberry jelly, plain and a cake donut with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles. By buying 6 donuts I got a discount (forget if it was 5 or 15% off). They don't skimp on the jelly or crème in the donuts. None were too sweet. All thoroughly enjoyed!

Pretty delicious donuts! I love that you can mix and match as you please. Only slight complain is the price

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

Amazing coffee spot in a cool Walnut Hill complex…read more I like the vibe here and their coffee is always on point. I've only been during the day and always spend a little time working before a coffee meeting. The WiFi is always good and the coffee is great. The ambiance is very open and inviting as well. They serve small bites as well but I haven't really partaken. Additionally, I think they have several beers on tap and they appear to all be cool local brews. If you're looking for a good local coffee shop with a vibe, this may be your new spot!!

This coffee shop has quietly become my Dallas work-week crush…read more It's conveniently close to the office I'm using while I'm here, but the real draw is the vibe. Beautiful sunshine pours through big windows, there's a lovely park right outside, and the light is so good it feels like the café equivalent of a good hair day. Dallas weather helps, obviously--but this place knows how to use it. The space is lively without being chaotic. Plenty of outdoor seating, lots of indoor seating, and a very reasonable three-hour Wi-Fi window that keeps people working instead of camping. It feels intentional. People come here to stay, not hover in line. Speaking of which--there's never a line. They're clearly well staffed, everyone's efficient, and everyone is genuinely nice. Now, pastries. This is where they shine. A lot of unique options you don't see everywhere, and everything I tried was excellent. The almond croissant? Fantastic. The blueberry cake? A must-get. I went two days in a row (because obviously), and on day one they told me it was their most popular item. Day two, by 11 a.m., it was completely gone and kept selling out as soon as they tried to restock. That alone tells you what you need to know. The matcha is good--made from scratch, which I appreciate. Is it the best matcha I've ever had? No. It's better than Local Johnny's, but not quite on the level of Marin Coffee Roasters or Ralph & Rose. Still very drinkable and enjoyable, especially if you're settling in to work. What really sets this place apart is its personality. It doesn't feel like a cookie-cutter café or "insert minimalist coffee brand here." There's charm. Character. A little whiteboard with a joke about New Year's resolutions that made me smile. Small details, but they matter. Would I come back? Absolutely. I already did--twice. I'd recommend it especially for locals looking for a solid work spot, co-working with a friend, or anyone who wants to be productive without being bothered. If you're visiting Dallas briefly, this might not be a destination café--but if you're here for a bit and want a reliable, pleasant, sunny place to work and snack, this one's a yes.

Shoutout to the White Rock Coffee staff for welcoming us back with open arms, as well as introducing new drinks to us that were of high demand and interest.
