It's a traditional doughnut, not a cake doughnut. Topping was delicious, but the doughnut part was thick, and could easily be cut open to make a sandwich. I need to try a filled doughnut to see if the ratio of dough to filling is better than dough to topping. Maple bacon might work better on a cake doughnut this size or cut it open and and make a sandwich out of it.

I got a dozen last time and realized the texture changes after the first day. You can pop them in the microwave, but it'll never be the same as the fresh ones because they thicken up. So I highly recommend eating some before you even get out of the parking lot to get the best melt in your mouth experience!! The glazed is one of my favorite. It's a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It sincerely melts in your mouth. They're also pretty big, and while waiting you can see them making the donuts, with the glaze dripping off. It's exciting to get to the front after waiting in line. The strawberry one was good, but not better than the original glazed. I can't wait to try the lemon one. The staff is always friendly and they keep the line moving!! You can also preorder to skip the line. If you see them, I absolutely recommend stopping to try at least 1. You won't regret it. Lol. Check them out!!!
