There are so many flavors to choose from, s'mores, chocolate chip, Nutella, lemon, pistachio, red, velvet, etc., etc. each flavor, more decadent than the next, the outside a nice crisp covering of soft cake and filling on the inside, in addition to ring dings, I spotted other offerings sweets, and some Savories as well. What a horribly missed opportunity. - $6 a piece, and the same small size as the name brand. We imagined they'd be larger like the great ones at MOD pizza. - The ring dings tasted bad. The flavor of each tasted very "extract-y", like instead of using fresh raspberries or coffee, they used the corresponding artificial extract. And overall dry. - The location is bad. The ring ding wasn't sweet, but it also didn't have so much peanut butter flavor either and the jelly was just a little hint. Not sure if it was strawberry or raspberry that they used. I ordered 26 ring dings for an office birthday celebration this month. The owner was very patient answering my questions about her products and delivery. The nice thing is that you do not have to order a minimum amount per flavor - I was able to select 12 different flavors and they sliced them in half at no extra charge. The ring dings are all $5 a pop (inclusive of tax). There are probably at least 20+ different flavor combos to choose from. They arrived all individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve that listed the flavor and ingredients. While I couldn't try them all, they were pretty tasty although some were a bit too sweet. I didn't think the Nutella flavor tasted like traditional Nutella either. Otherwise though, I think they were a fun & creative twist on the traditional ring ding and would be good for an event or holiday gift. read more

3.5-stars I ordered the Valentine's Day 6-pack of pastries from the Ring Ding Bar, eager to try their gourmet take on a childhood favorite. The elegant treats were shipped in a gift box, similar to a box of chocolates, and tied with a satin ribbon. The holiday sampler included a singular taste of six different flavors. The Classic Chocolate certainly looked the most like the original snack cake, with its layers of vanilla cream and chocolate cake covered in a dark chocolate shell. However, this one had almond paste baked into it, which I enjoyed, but would certainly disorient someone looking for mainly chocolate and vanilla flavors. The Nutella was one of my favorites. It may have had a thick layer of Nutella cream, but the hazelnut flavor was exuded in the perfect cadence without being too overwhelming. The Chocolate-Covered Strawberry was another great flavor. It featured dark-chocolate-dipped vanilla cake filled with a strawberry creme filling and a hint of strawberry jam. It reminded me of strawberry ice cream that had been covered with rich chocolate. The Chocolate-Covered Cherry had a similar vibe and construction with a different fruit flavor and a hint of almond. However, we did not find it as enjoyable as the strawberry, as it was very tart. The S'mores one utilized graham cracker cake and marshmallow fluff filling dipped in dark chocolate. We found the graham flavor too overwhelming; it really masked the marshmallow and chocolate components. Lastly, the gluten-free Double Chocolate variety also included a dark chocolate shell, encasing chocolate cake and a bittersweet chocolate cream. This was my overall favorite of the bunch. The creamy mousse was decadent, and I loved the hefty dose of chocolate. Tasting our way through the Ring Ding Bar's sampler was a fun addition to our Valentine's Day festivities. While we found the pastries flavorful, some were better than others, leaving us underwhelmed. They were also rather pricey for the size. read more

You might walk by ring ding bar and think you were mistaken about the address, as it looks more like a thrift store in suburban Denver than a chic bakery in Nolita. Once you find it, you will be wowed by the array of treats. We took four for a cool $20, and they are not really sharable as they are on the smaller side. While they all were fresh and well put together, the tastes were remarkably similar for all three (chocolate, red velvet, caramel) and to be frank, were not generously proportioned. I would not likely return but for my Aussie husband who lacked familiarity with the whole idea of a ring ding, it was a gimmick that had me at hello (but just once). read more

Stopped here with a group of friends after hearing so many incredible things. It certainly didn't disappoint-the biggest issue was figuring out which ring-ding(s) to try! My one friend, who isn't a dessert person, started yelling out "OH MY GOD!" after biting into the dulce de leche because it was that good. I have to agree with her on that one, but the funfetti and strawberry was also delicious! Since I was already full from the other food stops we made that day, I took a couple home and froze them so they wouldn't go back. I understand that any non gluten free dedicated bakery runs the risk of cross contamination, but they blantly made no effort to prevent it in any way. The 2 gluten free ring dings were on a tray with regular ring dings right between them! I told what looked like a 13 year old behind the counter that it's not the best practice for gluten free to have them on the same tray. He dismissively responded that they are covered in chocolate so...although they had 2 other gf options on their own tray I would not trust that they are gluten free at all. Went here yesterday afternoon and the young man working there was very helpful and polite. We have been many times and love the treats. While we were there , unfortunately it was a bit uncomfortable due to a female employee/boss? Berating the young man. This should be done out of customers hearing as it's uncomfortable to watch.
