Overall I love that they have so many flavors. It can be hits overwhelming. I wish the flavors were more prominent. For the oolong macacron, I really couldn't taste the flavor. For the szechua peppercorn, I can taste some lemongrass but nothing like peppercorn. So overall slightly disappointed but decent macaron. read more

While walking around East Village, I came across this shop and had to check it out. The place has minimal seating (outside) and is more of a grab-and-go spot, if anything. They specialize in macarons and have a variety of fun flavors as well as macaron desserts (such as macaron cookies, ice cream sandwiches, and more). The staff was so friendly, patient, and kind. I got their dubai chocolate macaron ice cream sandwich and loved it. My friend also got two of their macarons (2/$7) and thought they were good too! Would highly recommend if you're a big fan of macarons! read more

I am amazed at all the different flavors they have! No matter what you're looking for, you'll definitely find a flavor that you're craving. My favorite-favorite from the selection I got is the Ferrero Roche. All the macarons are crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Not overly sweet and full of flavor. And also look at the presentation. How cute! read more

Came to BKLYN Macs because we were interested in the unique and vase macaroon flavors. I ordered the sour cherry, yuzu, baklava, and dubai chocolate, while my friend ordered the blueberry, fruity cereal, permission, and calamansi. Out of my 4 ($13.49), I only liked the dubai chocolate. Sour cherry and yuzu did not taste like their flavors, and I just was not a fan of the baklava. My friend enjoyed her choices, but agreed that they are mild. Not sure if the ice cream macaroons have stronger flavors incorporated, but I would go back to try it if I'm in the area again. Owner was very friendly, passionate about creating new flavors and describing how certain ones tasted. The space is cozy with 2 small tables for seating. read more

This is the best place to get macarons in New York City. It's owned by the friendliest husband-and-wife duo who left their full-time careers to pursue something that they're passionate about. They make over 50 flavors from scratch that you won't find anywhere else and have mastered the recipe for the perfect texture. The outer shell is light and crunchy, while the inside is soft and chewy. They also sell amazing macaron cheesecake, ice cream sandwiches and you can even customize your macaron by printing a photo on it. I had my dog printed on one, and it came out so cute and delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out and supporting this small business! read more

This is a must-visit for any macaron lover! Their custom-printed macarons are such a unique and thoughtful gift--you just send in your image, pick a flavor, and they print it right onto a perfectly made macaron. It's such a fun way to personalize a sweet treat! I also tried their cheesecake and yuzu ice cream macaron sandwiches, and they were absolutely delicious--crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not too sweet. Their Black Dragon Matcha Latte and Sesame Latte were smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. With over 50 flavors to choose from, I had to get a 12-piece box, and every single one was amazing! Standouts for me were Champagne, Sakura, Viet Coffee, and Blueberry Bourbon Pecan. Plus, everything from their syrups to their jams is made in-house, which makes such a difference in flavor. The space is cozy, the staff is super friendly, and the quality is top-notch. Whether you're looking for a unique gift or just want to treat yourself, BKLYN MACS is the place to go! Can't wait to come back! read more

Jessica and Rebecca are so friendly and helpful. I reached out to get a large order of 200 macarons for our wedding favors. They coordinated with me on getting the right colors and even suggested which flavors would be best for each color. The macarons were freshly baked and ready for me to pick up an hour earlier than they opened shop. We got pistachio, strawberry, earl grey and lemon. These flavors were clean, fresh and not too sweet. Our guests raved about the macarons and they remained fresh for days. Almost a week later, I ate one and it was still perfect since I was able to freeze leftovers. I highly recommend working with BKLYN MACS for any event/wedding or just stopping by for dessert! read more

Macarons aren't my go to sweets but ever since I had the macarons here I've been in love. Their located in a good within the East village. It's a small shop but they pack a lot into this spot. They serve a large variety of macarons but don't sleep on the macaron ice cream sandwich, cheesecake, and banana pudding. This spot is a gem. They also serve coffee. Shout out to Jean for the great service and his wife for making the macarons. read more

DELICIOUS macarons. I was so excited to try these. and was pleasantly surprised. The flavors I tried were burnt lemon, strawberry guava, lavender, ferrero rocher, raspberry rose, earl grey rose, strawberry and mango. ABSOLUTELY LOVED strawberry guava, mango, burnt lemon and ferrer rocher. They definitely execute the fruit flavors so well. The saddest part of it all was i ate them too fast and they're gone. Friendly staff and fun food! I enjoyed the unique flavors and I look forward to visiting again.

I'm going with 2.5 stars rounding up. Received as a gift. Interesting flavors, however, 10/12 of the macarons were very very hard, brittle, cookie type of consistency. Better in-person? I dunno.. Flavor is unique... but didn't seem so macaron-like imo. read more
