Came for dinner on a weekday. Mixed feelings on the food, quality, authenticity, and cost. The…read moreservice was good. They came to fill up waters, were very nice, just that they were a little slow. The place is nice and they must have live music because there is a small stage at the corner setup for a musician, maybe a band of 2 people. Now the food. Overall expensive for what you get, except for a couple of things. The appetizers were actually good. We had croquetas de bacalao (cod fish croquettes) and croquetas de Chistorra. The chistorra croquettes were quite good. Each order brought 6 small croquettes for $12 each. So each bite was $2. Fried calamari were ok but way too pricey at $14 for the quality. Maybe acceptable if it was from Dominos pizza at half the price. The grilled octopus was good but at $24 for one 8-inch tentacle, it's a bit much. Overall, appetizers were good. For entrees we ordered Sardinas fritas at ajillo. These were good and for $14 I think the price was fair. Fabada Asturiana for $13 was not good. It felt as it was made a day ago. The fabes were overcooked and mushy. The morcilla was not of great quality. It had a piece of pork belly fat that was not very appealing and it didn't have neither the taste or traces of lacón (ham hock). The Callos à la madrileña were also a letdown. Not enough broth. It was made with garbanzo (chickpeas) which is not traditional. It has chistorra instead of chorizo. And the tripe did not taste great and at $18 it was even worse. Lastly we also got the grilled chicken with potatoes. $24 was a bit much. This was probably worth no more than $14. The chicken was cooked ok, but they left a lot of the nerves, fat, and cartilage so it was not a great experience eating it. We are of spanish descent and eaten great Spanish food. This restaurant unfortunately was not a great experience in the food quality. Some things were good, some just bad, and overall was way to expensive for what it is. I probably won't be coming back.

Great recommendations and very attentive. Food is delicious. The sancocho was made just right and the tostones de picana were fantastic. The ceviche is one of my favorites in all of Miami. I always order it and it never disappoints. They offer great lunch specials that include an appetizer, main course, and dessert. They also have a kids' menu with lots of great options. My daughter loves the chicken nuggets and seasoned fries. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is attentive from the moment you walk in until you leave the restaurant. It is usually busy so if you can make reservations. Definitely a great place to take the family. Every time we go, the service is excellent, and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend it.

And the food... hands down, every single dish transported us. They have both outdoor and indoor seating and a free off-street parking lot and also free street parking that is almost always available. There is also a small bar area just inside and to the right of the door. I like sitting outside if there is still daylight since it is quite dark inside, and there are fans on the outside patio. The service is attentative, although I've found that I get speedier service when I am inside rather than inside. Tapas Tuesday has 1/2 off select tapas, typically the most common (patatas bravas, croquettas, gambas al ajillo, etc) but this establishment executes them well. Be warned: the patatas bravas have a more... "cubanito" style with sriracha (hot sauce) and a spicy pink mayo. The potatoes are also cut to be circular and "chip like" rather than the usual cubes that are typical of patatas bravas. Still, crispy and tasty. Also, the boqueronitas a la vinagreta are good. What I like about this place is that the portions are larger than most other tapas restaurants. Two dishes for 1 person can be enough to be quite filling. I also liked the bocadillos de jamon serrano and manchego. ONE ingredient that I do NOT think the establishment treats well is the pulpo. Do they cook the octopus well? YES. Perfectly cooked. But the dishes are BLAND. I taste nothing. I get the good texture of the octopus, but no flavor. Even the "guapo del mar- pulpo" with "truffle" tastes just like octopus in oil. To end on a high note, they have a great cocktail list. They have a martini that I LOVE with I believe lillet in it? Either way, when I am craving tapas that wont break the bank and am in the Hialeah area, I know where to go!

It was exactly what I was craving; every bite felt like heaven. I ordered the pollo guisado and salami with tostones (fried plantains), which they had as a special. I arrived closer to the evening and they served me quickly and were very loving. It was pretty much empty, so I think that played a big role, though they mentioned it gets quite active on the weekends. It's like a club, bar, and restaurant all in one. Regardless, I would definitely recommend checking them out. It's a Dominican-based restaurant, so expect a Dominican crowd. If you know how Dominicans are, don't be afraid, surprised, or offended; they are sweet people regardless of the way they speak.

I ordered what looked to be a delicious looking chicken stew on the menu, but I received a pile of cold vegetables, a few tiny pieces of chicken with mostly bones, and a mound of something that looked like rice but tasted like ass. I would've probably given them two stars out of pity since the bartender herself was nice enough... However, when I got about a block away after leaving, an older woman came running out and screamed at me to return to the restaurant. She loudly demanded an explanation for why I didn't eat it. I said I'm sorry but it wasn't good, and she shooed me out the door while continuing to shout at the top of her lungs. If you're going to chase someone down like that, you better be ready for the answer.
