This is the absolute worst place their shop in Rincon GA are the absolute worst people. They said they rebuild my transmission and all they did was go to some junkyard or take one from their back didn't even clean. It up left the old transmission fluid in it. AND WORST OF ALL, IT'S NOT THE RIGHT TRANSMISSION FOR MY CAR All the dirt and grime said they rebuilt, mine charged me almost 5 grand and not even three months later I went to get my tire rods fixed and low and behold my transmissions leaking hadn't been driving right since I got it back argued wanted my money back got suckered into signing a form so I take it to the man that originally rebuild it 13 years ago, obviously he did it right because it ran 13 years unlike these assholes. They lied to my face. I really think they hate women of color and women in general, but to find out they didn't even use or rebuild. My transmission was the most disgusting part of this. They think they're slick and they got away with it, but I'm gonna haunt you till the day you close your doors you're FRAUDULENT and YOU ARE LIARS read more

I stopped in this morning needing about 5 minutes of help disassembling a U-joint that had been kicking my butt for hours. Bare in mind this was after two other places in town turned me away saying they couldn't squeeze me for at least a week.... for 5 minutes of assistance. I drive a '97 Jeep Wrangler and had a couple of noises coming from underneath. I brought it to several shops and even a couple of shade tree mechanics and no one could figure out what the problem was. This place doesn't even deserve a star review. I can't even begin to explain the amount of RUDENESS that was received, just from simply asking a few questions! My friend walked in today to ask about someone coming to look at her car that was parked down the street, and the woman working snapped at her "NO! Are you kidding me? Last time I did that, I got fired." Ok, well, it was just a question, and a long shot, you could have very well answered the question nicely. When this disgruntled woman was asked for the pricing of towing and the schedule for the day, her incredibly rude answer was "Well I can add this to your bill at the end, but I'm not looking at your car until at least late this afternoon." WOW. Just WOW. How incredibly rude and disrespectful can one person be? If this is how they talk to their customers, I would hate to know how they speak to their employees. And I certainly wouldn't trust them with my car! I wasn't even a customer, just waiting for my friend to get her answers to her questions. But based on this experience, I will NEVER go here. EVER. I had Rincon Transmission diagnose and rebuild my transmission in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler (42RLE transmission), and they did a fantastic job! I called on a Friday afternoon to setup an appointment to drop it off for the following Wednesday and spoke to Michelle, who was very professional, knowledgable, and nice! Dropped it off on Sunday and they called me by lunch time on Monday with a diagnostic. Unfortunately for me that was needing to rebuild the transmission due to internal part failure. I kind of expected this though at 198,000 miles. Once I gave them approval a few days later, I swung by and paid the deposit on the repair. Michelle gave me plenty of details and answered all my questions I had. About a week and a half later, I had my vehicle back and was overall so happy with the customer service I received, speed of getting the repair done, and updates I received along the way. The repair would have been completed even quicker if I did not need the flexplate replaced, but unfortunately none of their suppliers or local stores had one in stock. So I found one online and purchased it myself and dropped it off once it came in. So that did hold things up a bit. But from the quote, to estimated time to get the repair done everything was spot on to what Michelle had told me from the beginning. I have never been to a shop that was this good. I have now put about 200 miles on the rebuilt transmission and have not had any issues, and the vehicle drives extremely well. And it came with a 3 year / 36,000 miles parts and labor warranty! I would like to thank Michelle for her amazing customer service for always keeping me up to date on things and the technician for doing such a great job. Even better, they were honest and totally trustworthy, which is very reassuring when you have a broken car and no recourse. We couldn't be happier with the service we got here. We were having car trouble while traveling, and the first place we went to (a nearby dealership) told us we needed to do very costly repairs. We went to Rincon for a second opinion. It was like night and day... the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and guess what? No costly repairs needed! Best service and most knowledgeable automotive staff I have ever experienced in Savannah! Took my Mini Cooper to another shop in town and was told the transmission was bad and it would cost a minimum of $5,000 but could be up to $8,000 to repair/replace. Thankfully I sought out a second opinion from Rincon Transmission who diagnosed a pinched wire in the electric system that was tripping a fuse and messing up the computer in my car which in turn was throwing off my transmission. Total cost for repair $439, MUCH BETTER than the initial diagnosis and estimate. My Mini is operating perfectly and I cannot recommend Rincon Transmission enough!! All around OUTSTANDING automotive service!!! read more

This place is great. Scheduling online was easy, and they followed up quickly with a phone call. By the next morning after I dropped off the truck, they called me with their assessment of the issue, including the anticipated repairs to be performed. Paul gave me the best and worst case scenarios, and told me his gut feeling was that we'd likely be looking at the 'best case', but wouldn't know until they took everything apart. I approved them to move forward, and within a couple business days they were calling to say the truck was ready. I never asked how long it would take, but I was expecting longer. Very knowledgable and professional staff, quick turnaround, and fair/competitive pricing. I wouldn't hesitate to take all my vehicles here, and will recommend them every chance I get. read more
