They gave my a…read moreline that this was to "bring all units to market, no exceptions"...maybe they don't realize the market is crashing? I've heard this is standard practice at Recnation when talking to other storage units facilities. You have a log of choices nearby, make sure and do your research. I found several that were significantly cheaper, would allow you to do month to month and STILL lock in pricing for a year. Beware of taking time energy and money to store your belongings in a storage facility that has zero regard for retaining its customers.

I called Sep 1st to end my lease and dispute $15 charges they added without notify me because of proof of insurance expired. I asked to see the "emails" they had sent me, still no answer. I Asked for reimbursement since I did have proof of insurance. On the same call I was told the full amount would be reimbursed, then they back tracked saying only $15 of $95 would be reimbursed. I gave a verbal move out on same day because they price hike you after a full year (32%), they denied me ever saying that on the call. I asked for recording, still and still haven't received it. I called again Sept 28th and this time spoke to manager (Hammy) who said she would approve on termination date Sep 30th and let me off the lease. Guess what... I was charged Oct 2nd. Now going to dispute and will take legal action. If no one stand up to this company, they simply walk away stealing from their own customers. STAY AWAY FROM REC NATION!!! Their facilities are as good as people giving them 5 stars say they merit. I've encountered several times cars/trucks and once reported suspicious activity. Cars and trucks waiting to exit property. What does that tell you of their Security? It's a pity we can't give them Zero stars
