They deserve the highest rating possible! Came to this LockTite location after doing a search for small climate controlled unit. I could not be happier with the unit and the facilities. But most impressive is the customer service by Dee and the other women in the office. They took care of everything I needed to get set up with a unit and lock so I was able to move some things in right away. Next day my trailer tire blew out setting us back several hours moving out. And it was pouring rain. Was a bit of a crisis because new owner's had their moving trucks at the house ready to unload and we weren't close to being out yet. The gals at Locktite set me up with a lightweight enclosed trailer free of charge. It truly saved the day. read more

Our unit was broken into and electronics, furniture, and boxes of belongings were stolen. Our original lock which was a combination lock was cut, removed and then replaced with a keyed lock that was able to be purchased at the front office. When the staff went through the building on their regular checks, a lock was on the unit so a sticker signifying all was good was placed on the lock. All was far from good. I spoke with one of the assistants the day of and explained the situation to her. She was polite and said she'd tell her manager. A few days later, I spoke with the manager and asked her to review video footage. She said she would and would be in touch within a couple of day. It has been two weeks, and I'm still waiting for that call. When speaking with the manager, I asked about the keypads that used to be on the buildings so access was limited. She told me that she believed they were there in the past but didn't know what happened to them because she'd only been there a couple of months. We were also told that nothing like this had been reported anywhere else. It is hard to believe out of the many, many units there ours was the only one that was hit. I highly recommend that if you'd like to keep your belongings, find a place with better security and sense of accountability. read more

Storage units are fine, but they can increase the rent whenever they want, by whatever amount they want, and as often as they want. They increased my rent by 25% after the first month. Bait and switch? so if you're good with that, then this is your place.. read more

We rented a climate-controlled space there for over two years, going through three or so rate increases. Always paid our bill (autodebiting a credit card). Our move-out plans were not set in stone, but turned out that we could actually move out of the unit on the weekend of Oct 2-3. However, because I didn't inform them by Sep 30 that we were moving out, they charged me the full amount for Oct, $342. We were out by Sun night, Oct 3. I called them to let them know on Mon morning, Oct 4 that we were out. They said, "zero balance, you're good." I requested a partial refund for half the month of Oct, because their policy requires a ten-day advance notice before the first of the month. I figured, Oct 3 plus ten days is the 14th, roughly half the month, sounds reasonable. Instead of just issuing a half month's credit on the spot, they had to request approval from the regional manager. After nine days, since I hadn't heard from them, I called to find out that the regional manager declined to refund anything. The reason? Policy. If I had just informed them ahead of time, they could have stopped the payment and charged me a prorated amount for Oct 1-3, thereby demonstrating to me that they do support proration. However, since the payment was made in full on the first, they would not issue a refund for any amount. I argued that after years of on time payments, I'd have expected them to honor what I thought was a reasonable request for a credit back to my card for a half month, even though I was only in the unit for three days. They refused to prorate after the fact. The unit was fine, facility clean, everything good. Just a shame that they made me feel unappreciated by not being reasonable enough (in my humble opinion) to give me a partial credit. End result? I paid $342 to have the unit for three days and was left with a sour taste in my mouth. Would have rated them at least four stars, but not now. Mind your Ps & Qs with them, folks. read more

I don't know who these people are talking about. My experience with rv storage terrible. Never answers phone or emails, doesn't call back. My unit without electricity for almost a month so couldn't charge rv, multiple calls still not fixed no return calls so finally left and went to rattlesnake rv storage. Much better and $35 cheaper for larger space. People there great! People here suck. read more

They raised my rent w/o even notifying me & did not give me a receipt for this particular month either. I noticed the additional charge on my account & called Travis who was rude & unapologetic about it. I've been waiting for over a week for a supervisor to call me. read more

When Dee Marsh and her team were managing this place (formerly Lock Tite) - it was the best customer service in town. Dee and the Locktite team were extremely community minded and were very present and involved in the Dripping Springs community. Locktite storage and their staff were the first to jump in to help our neighbors in need. Locktite also provided storage for several of our local nonprofits that serve our amazing Dripping Springs community. They were a blessing and shining light in DDISD. As our neighbors were struggling after a flood that took all of their personal belongings - new management and owners chose not to honor further discounts and donations previously made by Lock Tite management . This caused further hardship to our neighbors who were already struggling. It also cost local organizations more money to help these neighbors in need. The new owners are not community minded. I'm not even sure if they live in dripping Springs. It's not even close to the same and they seem to have no interest in getting involved in the community. To the owners and management that may be reading this and have not responded to my emails, Dripping Springs supports local businesses and most businesses and employers strive to support our neighbors. Your first impression in our community, In my experience and opinion, is not a good one. There's more to running a business than just showing up to work every day. Business is NOT everything - in a community like ours , personal relationships and knowing that businesses will support our neighbors is key .... and the reason we support each other . I surely hope you have a change of heart . Our community relies on the non profits that use your facility for storage .... not supporting them = not supporting the community . read more

I came here looking for a short term storage solution expecting to have to pay for a full-month. We just moved here and while we are waiting to get into our new home, I was desperate to get the boxes out of our car!! Shanna at the front desk was beyond accommodation and proposed the ideal solution for us! The place is very new and super clean! They offer moving trucks and trailers complimentary to clients. Shanna was so sweet she even took time to tell me a little about the area and offer me a cold drink. Very pleased with the service, facility and price! A++* read more

Best storage experience I have had anywhere. Brenda and Dee who manage the operation are personable, professional and go out of their way to be accommodating. They know their business and run an efficient, immaculate operation. They even offer renters insurance a rates lower than I could find anywhere. Compare it to the national and local companies. None measure up to this group in Dripping Springs. read more

I wanted to give a shout out to Lock -Tite Storage - it is the NICEST storage faculty I've ever patronized. The people who run it are so nice, and they obviously take pride in the maintenance of the property. They have security cameras and a great front office. I cannot say enough good things about them. I have used some less than stellar storage facilities, and I thought that was just how the industry was run. But, Lock-Tite is a cut above all the other storage places I have used. My husband and I just relocated to Dripping Springs and at the last minute our RV Storage option fell through. We needed a place ASAP. We believe we may have found Austin's most friendly person (Anna) and absolutely the best customer service we have ever received. Anna helped us so much in finding a couple of options, one very short term until the more permanent option opened up.
