Remember when people took pride in their work and ensured that if it wasn't perfect they would make it that way? Well that's the type of service you get from Rich and his crew. We have an old European wood stove and it didn't work for years after we moved into our house. Rich came out, measured, located the parts and fixed the stove! When an issue arose a year later, Rich made time in what I'm sure was a very busy schedule to stop by and help us figure out what to do. After many attempts to do so, he refused to let me pay saying it wasn't out of his way and it didn't warrant my check. I'm from the Midwest and it reminded me of the type of people I worked with there. Thanks Rich for being an upstanding, friendly professional! read more

I found Rightway to be honest and fair. He was less than 1/2 the price of Old Brick! Highly recommend them. In fact, I'm using them again on another property. read more

Needed repair of 4 fireplaces and chimneys. Rich did a great job fixing all of them and even had a very creative and artistic solution to our old gas burning logs fireplace. His son came in, painted the inside and covered the fire place with Beautiful fire glass. It's gorgeous. And super warm. My units are now all up to code, chimney swept and everything is in perfect working order. Highly recommend these guys. read more

Friendly and good service. I had my chimney cleaned and the two men who came to my house went above and beyond to seal up a few cracks in the chimney and showed me how to turn on my fireplace correctly. Definitely recommend. read more

Right Way has done a great job with repairing the broken rear wall on my fireplace, plus cleaning out the chimney and assessing the overall health of the structure. Excellent attitude from the employee who came out, also quick and efficient. read more

I bought a Conejo Deal for Right Way to come clean my dryer vent and my chimney. The guys arrived early, but waited until out appointment to knock on the door (very prompt). They were very respectful, took off their shoes for my newly cleaned rug. I actually have 2 chimneys so I asked if both needed cleaning. I live in a gated community in Calabasas and when people see my house I usually expect them to up the price of things. But these guys were so honest. They took a good look at both chimneys and told me only one chimney needed cleaning. They went on the roof to check that my "clean" chimney was looking good up top (I thought rats may be coming in). I consider that above and beyond what was expected. They did a great job cleaning and made sure to vacuum all the dust from the dryer vent so it wasn't in my driveway (and they kindly asked me to move my car so it wouldn't get filthy). I cannot recommend them enough - really - I was so grateful for their honesty and cleanliness. They were friendly and did a perfect job. I will be calling this company every two years to clean out the dryer vent and check the chimneys. Thank you so much guys - hope you had a good rest of your day (it as crazy hot weather). read more

Excellent service and fair priced! Have used them for two houses! He even cleaned our dryer vent after cleaning the fireplace and chimney. Highly recommend! read more

Clean and neat people. Very professional. I have used them many times and each time they were excellent at cleaning my dryer vent.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! It is such a delight to have a service call for cleaning/repairs where they did not try to up-sell, and pressure me. I was extremely happy with the service I received from Right Way Chimney Service and will happily refer them to friends and family. They showed up when they said they would, they were very courteous and did a great job! Thank you! read more

Awesome, friendly, professional service!!! Rich and Justin were so friendly and did a great job. From phone communication to explaining about what they did and recommended fixes for our chimney, they were very professional, prompt and very clean while they did their job. Thanks for a great job!!!! read more

Excellent friendly service. Had him come out to service my gas only fireplace as it wasn't working and I didn't know why. We had just moved into a new house and never had a gas only fireplace before. He not only very quickly fixed the problem but he also taught me how it worked and how to do the simple fix (reset) on my own if it happens again. He talked to me about what to expect from the unit and what options were in the future when it (eventually-long term) needs replacement. I'm a very hands on person so I really appreciated the knowledge and help. I've worked with a different chimney service once before and it was a night and day difference. These guys know what they are doing and provide great service doing it. read more

Great service from start to finish! Excellent customer service and communication--Would definitely use again and recommend!!

Arrived early and did a thorough job. Turns out we had a lot of buildup and he probably saved our house from a potential fire. I gave them a little extra $ and they installed a cap on the chimney that I bought at Home Depot. They had good advice and provided excellent customer service. read more

They are really the best! I could see a rusted unsightly top on my chimney and knew I needed to fix it to go with my newly painted home. I texted photos of it to three companies. Right Way was the only one to tell me that what I had was only decorative and could get away with just removing it! They even said that I get my onsite construction guys to do it. I choose to have them come for the low cost they quoted. They came out the next day! Great company!! The other companies were trying to sell me all kinds of chimney cap options that I didn't need. Talk to Rich! He'll help you out for your chimney needs! read more

Good, fast service at a reasonable price. I put in a gas log set while my wife was away and when she got home she absolutely loved the result ! We use it all the time. read more

I had the dryer vent and chimney cleaned in a home I recently purchased. I found Right Way on a Yelp and I am so happy I did. Excellent customer service. On time, neat and respectful. This is an honest company with hard working employees who take pride in what they do. I highly recommend Right Way. read more

We recently had to replace our fireplace because the chimney was cracked so bad it couldn't be repaired. In the estimate we received, the permit charge was $600. We found out from the city inspector that the permit was only $154. If we would have been told by Right Way that we were being charged for labor to pick up the permit, we would have picked up the permit ourselves. So make sure you ask about this charge if you decide to use Right Way. Also, when it came to the final payment, he had me write a check to another company. With Right Way you can use a credit card, with this other company we couldn't. I didn't know we would be dealing with two companies. Once we paid Right Way their portion, he wouldn't return our calls. He also didn't get all the required permits so that delayed the final inspection. By that time we had paid Right Way what they wanted so the other company had to deal with getting the needed permit and final inspection. I have a feeling we were cheated on the type of switch to turn our new gas fireplace on and off as it is a regular on/off switch. No way to make the gas go low or high without using a key in the wall to adjust it. Also a wall had to built to cover the gas fireplace from the back, it's 3" deeper at the top than at the bottom. I believe that happened because they cut too big of a whole in the ceiling and had to cover it up. I could have insisted they tear it down and do it right, but this job took 4 weeks and it wasn't worth the time it would take to redo it. My advise, make sure the estimate spells out all the labor and supplies, if you will be paying more than one company and all permits are on file. read more

Had them install log gas burners to 2 fireplaces and a fireglass burner to 1 fireplace. Very fair price and good work. Will use them again!

They were wonderful! We purchased changed our fireplace out for a new two sided fireplace, which we purchased through Right Way. Rich was amazing from start to finish, super responsive about answering my many questions, and did a great job on installation. Will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Rich from Right Way is yet another reason to love the conejo valley. He took our old fireplace and converted it to fire glass. 1 year later Right Way came back to clear our dryer vent and add another bag of glass. He's professional, punctual, and does excellent work. read more

I also got a dryer vent cleaning deal from Conejo Deals. Right Way Chimney service gave me an appointment, not a window. They were supposed to be at my house at 11:30 am, they arrived 20 minutes early and did a thorough job. I really appreciated that they were friendly, didn't do a bait and switch or tried to sell me other services. Rich said they would send me a reminder to have my dryer vent cleaned in two years. Great service! read more

I wish every service person was like Rich. Honest. Forthright. And, Reasonable. Old school values. I can recommend Right Way Chimney Service and have them as my only provider for cleaning my chimney and providing any related service for our two fireplaces. read more

Rich and his team were incredibly polite and professional. We had purchased one of their deals on ConejoDeals for both the chimney and dryer duct cleanings. They did a great job with both and left the house just as clean as when they arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend Right Way Chimney for any chimney or duct related issues. They are a shining example of a great small business. read more

Rich arrived early, took a look at my gas fire place, placed the log differently, and my problem was solved. I was embarred and had no idea why the fire place would not stay lit. Rich explained and refused to let me pay him. Needless to say, when and if I ever have a real problem he is my first and only call. Thank you Rich !!! read more

Wonderful service!!! Rich called me back relatively quickly (keep in mind busy season) and set up for next day service. Justin came out to service, came early, EXTREMELY personable, knowledgeable and very considerate, specifically since I have twin babies and a toddler running around. Kept everything clean also. Set us up for service reminders, next steps and follow up. Very reasonable prices and I highly recommend this company. read more

In an era of in which "customer service" often seems it should be punctuated with a question mark, I find myself moved to do what I can to express my gratitude to the guys at Right Way Chimney. The details: The appt was at 3:00 (note the absence of a broad "window"). They got here at 2:55. I thought I needed both of my chimneys cleaned. They told me I could go another year before cleaning one of them. (Is there an antonym for "hustler"?) They were polite and professional, very knowledgable about all things chimney, and eager to explain to my inquiring mind. (Don't you love when people are masters of their craft, whatever that craft may be? How rare...) They taped the seams of the stovepipe before they swept it, and they cleaned the outside as well as the inside. They were proud of the outcome, clearly taking pleasure in the specifics of the job well done. Having researched local companies, I can tell you they also charge a good deal less than others in the area. read more
