Danny explained the pros and cons of the various types of flooring. He allowed me to take home several colors so I could see what color worked best in my home. The man (sorry don't remember his name) who installed the product did a wonderful job. installing the new flooring and removed the carpet that was being replaced. There was no trace of any trash, dirt or prior carpet left at my home. He made sure that the floor was level before installing the product. I was able to go to work and felt comfortable not being home while the flooring was being installed. After seeing an advertisement with some Spring rate specials, I decided to setup an appointment with Empire. My sales rep's name was Adam, and he showed up with a polite and professional demeanor. After we chose a nice grade of carpet and took measurements, I began getting worried about the price. Interested enough, it fell close to my planned budget. What's even more interesting is that he still found more ways to save me even more money, so I still ended up being below my budgeted costs. That is not just for the carpet, but included new padding, installation services, and 5-year protection plan. Breach of contract salesman admitted error and they fail to make it right new computers and apologies but my house left incomplete. Very dissatisfied with their service I recommend you do not use them and have the salesman print the floor plan. This is resulting in legal actions. Do not use them unnecessary headache.

I told Mitch (5tar flooring) that after comparing with the other two vendors, he had basically no chance to do the work. The reason? He did not have any reviews. Reviews are very important to me. He apologized and told me he understood and will be available if I ever needed him in the future. After two days, only one of the other two vendors called me back, but the other guy was busy and unable to start right away. So I took a big risk and called Mitch back. Only reason I did was because he made a good impression, a true gentleman, never trying to close a sale. I am so glad I did. I am an engineer and I am proud to say I have worked with factories all over the world. I have audited plenty of places, basically I am an expert in quality with more than 40 years of field experience. I am good at spotting a work well done. The people that Mitch sent me were top notch (Carlos and a helper). I have several cameras installed in my home. So I was able to follow step by step what they were doing. Not only they worked professionally, they are some of the hardest working people I have seen in a long time. The first day they started at 10AM and left my home at 7:30PM, only resting for a 30 min lunch. Then they knocked at my door at 8:00AM as agreed on a Sunday the following day to finish the job. (Believe it or not, they also worked on a Sunday. Frankly speaking I never expected them to arrive early that day, but they did). Very impressed with their work!
