My grandmother is recovering from a fall that caused a temporary brain injury. We needed more help than I could provide and I was desperate. I found Care Renewed online and the reviews were all excellent so I called and Fritzi was in our kitchen in 2 hours to discuss care and had a caregiver for us the same evening. I finally had a good night sleep! The team that worked around the clock to take care of my grandmother was so warm, lovable and competent. I spent many hours there with them. They took care of everything in her home from laundry, cleaning, bathing to just hanging out and listening to her stories. It's nice to be comfortable with caregivers when they start out strangers and now feel like family. We had a previous experience with a home health company so I was reluctant to hire another. The former sent an aide that was sick and asleep when I stopped by. Thank you so much Ms. Fritzi for the care, attention to detail, hands on management, and the visits you made yourself to check on my grandmother. She is precious to us and you are all the best!

Since I've had multiple sclerosis for over 30 years and this was my second knee surgery, I have quite a lot of experience with PT. Addie is one of the very best practicioners I've encountered. Very creative and knowledgeable, both essential when dealing with the vagaries of MS. She somehow manages to straddle the line between being assertive and yet flexible enough to alter treatment for the patient's changing needs. She's a good listener and very fair. Addie brings additional skills with the mastery of her hands. She expertly manipulates muscles and tendons. Physical manipulatation has become an all too rare skill in physical therapy. While at first I found it startling, I grew to trust Addie. I feel sorry for my next next physical therapist, they'll have a long way to go to equal the the incomparable Addie McGill. Additionaly nurse Hardik, who administered some of my care the six weeks post knee surgery, was magnificent. Whenever an issue arose, he was helpful and understanding. He communicated well at all levels. I can't recommend him enough. Needless to say, my first experience with BlueStar was excellence. Hopefully I won't need of their services again but if I do, I won't hesitate using them again.

That is almost four times the immunity of a fully vaccinated person. Why would they tell us we had no antibodies?

We reported this incident immediately to HC. Alice, the owner contacted me and asked me to pay for the medical check using our homeowners policy. Are you kidding me, this was completely inappropriate - as they inspected our property before coming out and we were not the caregivers employer. We were losing our father and we were in no way financially responsible for this incident nor could we handle this kind of issue while facing the death of our father. I would definitely not recommend this company. I have been a healthcare administrator for over 30 years - and knew the procedures for employee incidents. This was so heartbreaking to have Alice to attempt to get us involved. I would not call this Heavenly Care........

My mom was struggling physically/mentally and would just moan. One caregiver told her to be quiet multiple times. Another one refused to help because she had asked for too much help. One was busy on her phone and didn't bother to put my mom to bed so my mom fell asleep on her recliner. I tried to talk to the person assigned to me for staffing and she didn't answer texts/calls. I cancelled with her because the people that they were sending were so bad, that it was better to have no one. I got no answer till after the weekend and I was told that I needed to give more notice. I explained that I tried to give notice, but that person wasn't answering their phone. They sent one last person out that they claimed was their best and no one had every complained. After that person got my mom to sleep, she turned tv to the station she wanted (in room next to my mom) and then started calling friends on the phone and talking loudly over the tv. When received the invoice, I was charged $36/hr. I had asked the company and many others in the healthcare field if they knew of a lower priced home health agency because this one like others, was too expensive for my dad. Right At Home said no I suspect because they want to make a profit. They sent a wonderful employee out and she was a Godsend and like a paid sister to me with helping my father. A couple times she could not be there and they sent out 2 other women those two separate times, one a black lady who was very nice and the other time a young, lazy white woman who sat around and left her fast food trash for me to clean up! Sadly my father could not afford it and he thought he could be more independent and he got an infection and ended up passing away a few days later. Ironically APS had been called (a risk to himself) and THEY gave me a name of an agency that would have provided home health care my dad could have afforded. I had an appt. set up for the day he ended up dying. Meanwhile a few days after my dad died I got a call from right At Home. I expected it to be a sympathy call, it was not. It was the owner asking to be paid. THEY NEVER GAVE CONDOLENCES TO THIS DAY! It gets worse. My dad had them being paid on auto withdrawal and when he died this company and others drained that bank account. The whole estate went into probate and I could not access any money. I had to pay 20k out of my own pockets to pay my dad's mortgage, utilities, lawyer, etc. I asked the owner to stop trying to withdraw the funds automatically that it was costing the estate 35 dollars each time he tried. He did not care and ignored me. A year passed and I still had no access to my father's money. Yet I still get calls from this company asking for money. If they had stopped trying to withdraw the money from his account I could have had the money to pay them, I do not at this time. Also I will double check and make sure their accounting is in order because they may have already collected the money but have a lousy accounting system. As I have gone thru this hell of grieving and having to deal with the disgusting probate system and slimy lawyers, this company has been an added pest.
