My mom was struggling physically/mentally and would just moan. One caregiver told her to be quiet multiple times. Another one refused to help because she had asked for too much help. One was busy on her phone and didn't bother to put my mom to bed so my mom fell asleep on her recliner. I tried to talk to the person assigned to me for staffing and she didn't answer texts/calls. I cancelled with her because the people that they were sending were so bad, that it was better to have no one. I got no answer till after the weekend and I was told that I needed to give more notice. I explained that I tried to give notice, but that person wasn't answering their phone. They sent one last person out that they claimed was their best and no one had every complained. After that person got my mom to sleep, she turned tv to the station she wanted (in room next to my mom) and then started calling friends on the phone and talking loudly over the tv. Find your own caregivers. Staffing agencies send people that couldn't get jobs on their own.

My parents, patients of Girling for a five month time period, relied on the daily loving care of their nursing staff and therapists, for my Dad, a bed-bound patient who switched from years of Mom's solo-care, to a home healthcare service. Two days ago, due to an infection, Dad was admitted to the hospital for a pik line to assist in the antibiotics-drip treatment. We were set to leave hospital today and continue the antibiotic treatment at home; and discovered through our hospital release-manager that Girling, unbeknownst to us and without any prior conversation with our Girling Case-Manager, had made the decision to drop / cease-to-provide home healthcare for my Dad. Their dismissal came without warning, previous indication and as a total shock to my family. Girling indicated that they were "real sorry" for leaving us in such a bind and forcing us to quickly switch to another service-provider! Healthcare, especially home healthcare is a critical and personal partnership; we would definitely CAUTION others who are considering Girling to be very aware that they too might experience management shifting gears on this "partnership" and without warning, dismiss their service-commitment. My family is in shock and disbelieve, ands feel incredibly betrayed by Girling. OF NOTE: If we could give rating-stars for our wonderful nurse- Grace, aide- Gilberta, or therapist- Mandy; it would be FIVE stars. We will miss you, God bless you three and your families.

To those who have said you were upwards to 25% higher than other establishments, I must disagree. My pantyhose were $90. The Amazon price was $80. I find the additional $10 was a small price for pay for Rachel to have spent a lot of time with me. She was patient and kind. Should I choose to buy a second pair I will not order from Amazon, but rather call to have you send them or revisit the store. You provide a valuable service. Additionally, you are a small local business. I like to support local and I feel you and others like you have a right to make a profit. This other company has been atrocious when the chair needed repairs. This time they told me in mid-November 2024 that they couldn't even evaluate his power wheelchair until February 2025 and then said it would be 3-4 months "to get parts". This is unacceptable when someone is 100% dependent on his power wheelchair to live in his home. So I went to Home Medical Equipment by the Kerring Group and they referred me here. It is apparently part of their company. That was last Friday. On Monday my brother's power chair was evaluated by an engineer (I didn't know this was even an option!), he was given a loaner chair and his chair is being repaired now. In addition, the engineer was able to address issues by brother has had that has caused him pain and tell him that he's on the wrong cushion and has an incorrect armrest. The cushion he had my brother try was immediately more comfortable. Holy smokes, they were wonderful! I'm so grateful to Alex ( the engineer) and Josh!

He sees a variety of people (speech, ot, feeding) and they mix it up a bit. they embrace seeing the kiddos when they are disregulated and help you work through it. we've been elsewhere and told....let us know when he's ready to work. feels like a partnership. big growth year for him! at school we were able to take a bunch of goals off his iep since he met them already. i credit the work at ACS for getting him to those goals. we still have a long journey but wow the progress, the people, the kindness, and the care. our family feels supported. (my daughter is dying to go to therapy with brother...it's that awesome!) thank you ACS!
