The staff at Suvida are competent, efficient, professional, and personable. But the real gem is Dr. Angelica Contreras. My first visit I feeling down but Dr. Contreras gave direct eye contact and listened intently and made sagacious comments. I didn't feel rushed, I felt as if she really listened and not just hear me. We called and spoke with the staff at Halo. They were very comforting to answer any of our questions. We spoke with the owner Adam about our insurance benefits. He was helpful andvery knowledgeable about long-term care insurance. We were very surprised about how quickly they were able to start the service. I called on a Friday at 4 PM The initial assessment was set at 6:30p. And by 7 PM they had a wonderful caregiver there to cover the overnight. She helped us organize and get my grandmother comfortable into bed. I realized that as a family we were way over our head and trying to provide care ourselves. Because our caregiver made everything that we were struggling with look very easy. Overall this is a wonderful business. And the caregivers are so very caring. I would recommend them to anyone.

My mom was struggling physically/mentally and would just moan. One caregiver told her to be quiet multiple times. Another one refused to help because she had asked for too much help. One was busy on her phone and didn't bother to put my mom to bed so my mom fell asleep on her recliner. I tried to talk to the person assigned to me for staffing and she didn't answer texts/calls. I cancelled with her because the people that they were sending were so bad, that it was better to have no one. I got no answer till after the weekend and I was told that I needed to give more notice. I explained that I tried to give notice, but that person wasn't answering their phone. They sent one last person out that they claimed was their best and no one had every complained. After that person got my mom to sleep, she turned tv to the station she wanted (in room next to my mom) and then started calling friends on the phone and talking loudly over the tv. Find your own caregivers. Staffing agencies send people that couldn't get jobs on their own.
