Amazing and professional! I have worked with several of their caregivers, and I'm always impressed by their assistance and kindness.

I was reluctant at first until I came across a brochure for Suvida Healthcare in South Austin. After my first visit, I've never looked back and I don't regret it! The staff at Suvida are competent, efficient, professional, and personable. But the real gem is Dr. Angelica Contreras. My first visit I feeling down but Dr. Contreras gave direct eye contact and listened intently and made sagacious comments. I didn't feel rushed, I felt as if she really listened and not just hear me. By the end of my visit, I felt much better. I noticed she engaged and listened to my caregiver and started me on a new medicine, it seems to be working well. My subsequent visit was equally assuring. I'm beginning to believe that being 91 can have a silver lining. I am VERY PLEASED with Suvida Healthcare, I highly recommend them.

The problem I had is they promised 24/7 availability and support but what they don't tell you is on the weekends and holidays they use a call center. My mother n law passed on a Saturday morning and I called the telephone number for 24/7 care. I asked for assistance and was told this was the answering service and they didn't have any numbers to reach anyone. I was also asked by the service if I had the nurses number I did not. Mind you I'm dealing with distraught children a dead relative and no assistance. The answering service actually hung up on the call. Then when called back no one answered. I ended up having to call 911 having a parade of emergency people and police here treating it as a crime scene. Loved ones were not allowed to spend time with their mother and wife because the police needed to verify she was on hospice. The police even attempted to call the 24/7 number and couldn't get thru. It needs to be said I had to preform cpr on my mother n law as well before EMS arrived. Further traumatizing family members. I have waited long enough for compassus to review what the call center did by not getting us in contact with someone who could help us. We were put thru undue stress and hardship over this. In good faith I cannot recommend you putting your complete trust into Compassus. The nursing and other support did a great job but in the end Compassus let our family down. It should also be stated that I had to contact Compassus about picking up the devices and was told they had been leaving voicemails about arranging pick up of the medical devices calling my deceased mother n laws phone I was like perhaps she isn't going to anwser which again upset family. So after leaving my number the medical company was supposed to call me to arrange pick up they didn't they just showed up unannounced at the door further upsetting a family mourning. I will amend this review if they ever contact me regarding what they are going to do about their unhelpful answering service. Better yet they can provide their resolution here in a response so all can read for themselves. 24/7 they won't always be there if their answering service has anything to say about it.

I don't understand this rule as I have never seen a wheelchair, scooter, or automobile whose battery has turned itself on and the vehicle has gone running amok. They are extremely understaffed! Residents are not tended to in a timely manner if at all! Multiple occasions where a resident was forgotten about and missed meals because nobody came to take them to the dining hall. The meals are fyre festival quality with white bread and a single slice of processed deli meat. Showers are multiple days apart, the laundry does not get done and residents walk around in extremely wrinkly clothes and have to scrounge around for bed sheets and clean towels. I would not recommend this facility if you want your family to be tended to adequately. Highly disappointing for somewhere you trust to have compassion and care for those who can't care for themselves.

Our caregiver was not adequate, but I am willing to give the company (not person) another chance at a later time. My advice: 1. Interview the caregiver first prior to signing a contract. 2. Understand that person's location, miles they will drive and personal commitments they have. 3. Finalize your own assessment prior to agreeing to move forward, ask for a different option (resource wise) if you are concerned about the person you met with.

Cella Bella is by far the most wonderful home healthcare I've ever dealt with. I found them just by luck from a caregiver who was helping a neighbor. I didn't know what to ask for because I didn't know what was available ...I just knew we needed help. They listened to me, exhausted & crying, and then quickly got my mom into a medicare paid home health routine. Not once did I have to remind them to follow through on their promises. Calls are always answered and I truly don't know if they even have voicemail. They took our $0 budget and quickly turned it into a whole team of knowledgeable and compassionate caregivers. Cella Bella lifted a huge weight from my shoulders and mom is feeling much better too.

Hired a sitter for 9am to 4pm. Did not want to give them access to my bank account for an automatic payment so gave them my creditcard. The sitter had nothing to do but let the dog in and out. When received the invoice, I was charged $36/hr. When I called the company, I was told that the first representative documented I would be charged $34/hr and since I put it on my credit card, I was charged $2 more per hour. I consider that rediculous. Watch out this place is devious.

I had asked the company and many others in the healthcare field if they knew of a lower priced home health agency because this one like others, was too expensive for my dad. Right At Home said no I suspect because they want to make a profit. They sent a wonderful employee out and she was a Godsend and like a paid sister to me with helping my father. A couple times she could not be there and they sent out 2 other women those two separate times, one a black lady who was very nice and the other time a young, lazy white woman who sat around and left her fast food trash for me to clean up! Sadly my father could not afford it and he thought he could be more independent and he got an infection and ended up passing away a few days later. Ironically APS had been called (a risk to himself) and THEY gave me a name of an agency that would have provided home health care my dad could have afforded. I had an appt. set up for the day he ended up dying. Meanwhile a few days after my dad died I got a call from right At Home. I expected it to be a sympathy call, it was not. It was the owner asking to be paid. THEY NEVER GAVE CONDOLENCES TO THIS DAY! It gets worse. My dad had them being paid on auto withdrawal and when he died this company and others drained that bank account. The whole estate went into probate and I could not access any money. I had to pay 20k out of my own pockets to pay my dad's mortgage, utilities, lawyer, etc. I asked the owner to stop trying to withdraw the funds automatically that it was costing the estate 35 dollars each time he tried. He did not care and ignored me. A year passed and I still had no access to my father's money. Yet I still get calls from this company asking for money. If they had stopped trying to withdraw the money from his account I could have had the money to pay them, I do not at this time. Also I will double check and make sure their accounting is in order because they may have already collected the money but have a lousy accounting system. As I have gone thru this hell of grieving and having to deal with the disgusting probate system and slimy lawyers, this company has been an added pest.
