It's located near RIMAC and LionTree Arena, and a quick walking distance from Hopkins and Pangea parking structures. The menu offerings include a variety of burgers, wings, salads, and drinks for a decent price. Swinging by after class around 3 p.m. on a weekday meant there was no line and also a small number of customers eating. I got the Social burger with fries, which comes with applewood bacon, jalapeno, caramelized onion, tomato, cheddar, and a fried egg. The burger was really messy to eat, but the flavors all went well with each other, and was overall very filling. I think the fries were not the best, however, as they tasted a little raw and the serving could have been a little better. The service was overall good, where the employees were nice, but the food took a little long considering the small amount of customers eating and ordering. Swung by for lunch after class on a Monday and there were only a couple people in line at the register including us. It is a bit out of the way as Ridgewalk Social is all they way out by RIMAC, but after trying it, I will 100% be back as this has to be the best place to eat on campus by far. The prices are super fair and the quality of the food is ridiculous. There is indoor and plenty of outdoor seating as well and the wait for food was about only about 10 minutes. The Social (4.5/5): Super high quality burger with the addition of crunchy, fatty bacon and a sunny side up egg is perfection. The runny yolk adds a beautiful creaminess to every bite. The Chicken Deluxe (4/5): The fried chicken has clearly been flattened to get an even cook and it definitely paid off in moist, crunchy bites. If they sold bottles of the sauce, I would definitely drink it straight up. Veggies are super fresh and help curb the guilt of more bacon. The fries and side salad (4.25/5): The quality of the sides are through the roof. This is a nice on-campus cafe located right next to the UCSD vaccine superstation. Because the demand is subsiding, the station will be disassembled at the end of this month. This also means that Ridgewalk Social will be temporarily closed until September when the students return for the fall semester. Most of their business from the past few months was coming from people who were lining up to be vaccinated. Salads, chicken wings, burgers, and wraps were the main food categories. I bought a Chicken Deluxe to-go which was a crispy spiced brined chicken breast with applewood bacon, pickles, tomato, lettuce, and a special sauce. I chose a house salad as a side instead of hand cut french fries. The sandwich was large and nicely assembled so the $11 price tag was well justified. No dressing was offered with the salad which I don't know was an oversight or not. It could have used a small cup of vinaigrette. One issue that stood out was the 30-minute preparation time for the sandwich. I came in the late afternoon so it was well after the peak hours of business. There were four orders placed ahead of me, and it appeared that those customers were waiting quite a while for their food too. read more

My visit to Ridgewalk Social was really good. Greeted by staff as I walked in and told me there is no rush to order. They recommended me to get the fries because its their most popular. I was excited since it had been a minute since I've had loaded fries, and it hit just right. Very delicious but not the best meal if you're on a cut. Definitely need at least 2 people to finish this. Sadly, the downside is that it was REALLY REALLY greasy. Had to pull out some napkins and dry it up because you could even taste the oil more than the fries. Still good tho! read more

Delicious! I've gotten the Social and Chili, and they were both delicious! The social is extremely flavorful but MESSY and greasy. The egg is drippy and messy but I'll always add it. The chili is also delicious and the pita is so soft! The people are super friendly and the price is fair considering everywhere else on campus is just the same price but smaller servings. I always go during lunch time and it's not too bad. There's definitely a rush but it doesn't get loud, and you can sit inside or outside. The food comes out fast so that's a plus for me since I'm on a time crunch! 10/10 recommend if you're on campus and have time to sit down and eat! read more

The place may look intimidating but the prices are fair and definitely worth the money. A friend and I came here the other day and we were thoroughly impressed. The burger reminded us of In-N-Out's boujee stockbroker brother. As people who don't typically eat salads, we might just start eating them from here. We got the brussel caesar salad and were amazed at how non- nasty and brussely it tasted. Now don't even get me started on the buttery buns in the burger, definitely made the burger that more tasty. AND THE PITA BREAD FOR THE SALAD!!! 10/10 meal and service... the wings were crispy and saucy which is always a good sign :) would definitely recommend this place for those who need a break from bland dining hall food! Wow, I don't get the love for this place - other than being a place that serves beer on campus. I ordered the Chicken Deluxe with fries. Sea salt must be really expensive because I couldn't taste any on the fries - which were doughy without any crispiness at all. Everything about the chicken sandwich was great - except the chicken. Park on the seventh floor and walk pass the bridge by the elevator. Make a right once you reach the main path, and it's right next to the RIMAC Arena. You won't be disappointed. read more
