Awesome new restaurant in the new office complex at Torrey Hills. Beautiful setting and good food at reasonable prices.

So delicious! Employees are always kind and helpful. The shrimp salad is a favorite, today I added steak for some extra protein 10/10

This place is hard to find, but if you do find it get the smokey chipotle chicken bowl, it's excellent!

Clean restaurant, great menu selection and the food is very tasty. It gets busy during lunch rush but it's worth the wait! Great service!

Wtf is carne asada less expensive than freaking falafel! Does not seem fair to people trying to eat more sustainably.

I am a CAVA fan & saw this restaurant next door. I decided to give it a shot and am so glad I did…read more I was greeted right away and didn't wait long. The employee was nice. I was so impressed the salad looked just like the pics. I feel like that rarely happens! I usually am picky or hesitant about trying Tina at restaurants but im glad I got it there. The salad was so fresh, filling, and light! I will be returning for sure! I'm looking forward to trying the other menu items too!

The sandwich at around $15 is pricey but feels more appropriate for what you're getting. A $12 smoothie isn't unusual in San Diego, but when the taste doesn't back it up, the price becomes a lot harder to justify. Food/Drinks: [3.5/5] Chicken Salad Sandwich -- A 3.8/5 for me. I'm from the South, so I have a pretty solid benchmark for what good chicken salad tastes like. For a healthier take on it, this one actually holds up--the dill was a nice touch and the soft whole wheat bread worked well. That said, I'm judging it on taste alone, not its nutritional value, and it's decent but not exceptional. It also came with vegan bacon bits, which I didn't mind. A solid sandwich, just nothing that wows you. Strawberry Delight Smoothie -- A 3/5. It's clearly a nod to Hailey Bieber's Erewhon smoothie and it looked the part, but the taste was just okay. I swapped the almond milk for 2% due to my nut allergy, which the staff accommodated easily, but even still it didn't wow me. At $12 I was hoping for more. Ambience: [4/5] The interior is on the smaller side but I came on a beautiful day and sat outside, which made for a lovely lunch break. One Paseo is a nice area to be in, so the outdoor experience saves it. Overall Experience: [3.7/5] Jan's is a cute concept and I get the appeal, especially in that setting. But the prices are genuinely hard to justify when you're right next door to Cava, where your money goes a lot further. I'd probably come back for the vibes on a nice day, but I'd be much more selective about what I ordered.

I particularly like the outdoor seating with the wood fencing and the open air style of the restaurant. The food is always on point, and is the first place I think of if I am thinking of grabbing a salad I don't feel like making. This location is no different from any of their other locations. My normal go-to salad is Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada and it has always been consistent in all the locations I've been to, including this location. It is difficult to grab any other salad since I love how filling and tasty this salad was with quinoa. Mendocino Farms is also one of the first places I've ever encountered roasted quinoa and really loved it. (Watch your teeth though!) Service is quick and friendly, both at the cashier and when they bring your food to your table. They ask you if there is anything you needed and even check on you. It's always nice to have a choice for a quick-ish and healthy meal, and if you're looking for a tasty salad, you should put Mendocino Farms at the top of your list.

I got their turkey club -- not sure of the exact name -- and added extra bacon which was 100% the right decision. Everything tasted super fresh, the bread held up perfectly even through delivery, and the flavors were just so good without feeling heavy after. That perfect balance where you're full but not sluggish. If you're trying to eat a little cleaner but still want something that actually tastes good, this is a go-to. They've got a lot of solid options too, not just sandwiches. Highly recommend for a quick, feel-good lunch

It has its own seating inside and outside and the outside seating has umbrellas just in case it gets a little too sunny. There is an abundance of parking on the street that's usually free up to two hours. I went on a Sunday where it wasn't really that busy so finding parking close by was pretty easy. I like this area because it's in between a lot of other small businesses and it's not right on the street. It's kind of tucked away a little bit. It has its own bathroom as well. We even saw a parrot whilst eating haha. I ordered the Italian grinder and my girlfriend ordered the turkey club. Both sandwiches were very tasty and make sure to get sauce with it because the sauce here is really good! Cons: due to the location, if it's busy parking will probably be slim. This is most likely due to it being close to the Del Mar fairgrounds. Verdict: If you want a quick bite to eat there or to go, this is the perfect place for you! Bored and brew is a staple in California and anybody who hasn't tried it should go now!
