I expected that customers walking in before closing would still be able to order what the restaurant normally serves. As I approached the counter, the employee told me, "Just to let you know, she doesn't have any more bread." I understand running out of something can happen, but at a sandwich shop, bread is kind of the main ingredient. I wasn't interested in getting a bowl when I came in craving a sandwich. Honestly, I'm just glad I didn't place a mobile order ahead of time, because I would have been pretty frustrated to drive over expecting two sandwiches only to find out they couldn't be made.
