Doug is a scam artist. Do not utilize his company. Doug has refused to pay my deposit back after failing to complete the trip (he stranded us 4+ hours from our destination and refused to pay for our rentals to return home)! His vehicles are old and falling apart, in fact one has been removed from service by the state of AZ for multiple, severely dangerous issues (I have obtained and read the inspection & police reports and it is scary to know I was driving on that bus with multiple teenagers and infants) probably a blessing we didn't get back on it! Doug or his other driver were not licensed to drive the bus either, which makes it even worse! All in all, it was a nightmare of a company and owner to deal with. Doug is the MAN! As a visitor in Phoenix, getting around, especially when you are drinking, can be rough. That is where "The Dougie" comes into play. Doug was able to help us out on our recent trip to PHX for the Fiesta Bowl. He charges fairly, and is the nicest guy you'll meet. We also had a pretty large group, so that is also a huuuuuge plus when being transported around- especially since the taxi companies don't typically have large vans. This is the best shuttle service I have ever used! A group of my friends and I rode the Dougie while traveling around the Greater Phoenix Area. We were down for the Fiesta Bowl and needed rides to various parties and the Bowl Game itself. Doug was always right on time, very accommodating and a fun guy to be around. I booked a ride with Doug for a group of ten people for a ride to and from the ASU/WISCONSIN game. Half of our group was flying in for the game. I turned to Yelp to be sure that I was booking something reliable. Based on his excellent reviews, I choose his company over another one. I confirmed the ride the night before and the morning of. Our group was dressed for the game and ready with our coolers for the tailgate. We were all still happy even when the driver was 5 minutes late. When he was 15 minutes late, I grew nervous and called Doug's number to check on the ride. When Doug called me back, I heard the dreaded words, "The driver didn't show up and I have no options for you." Ten people, ready for the game, no ride. It was a HUGE disappointment for a special day. Doug did credit my card and called to offer another ride at another time but our friends have flown back home and the game is over. It is not possible to make it up to me. This experience has made me realize that when you book transportation, it is always a gamble. read more

Owner is unreliable and did not follow thru for us when we booked him for a day long trip. coach bus is very old and odor coming from bathroom makes it very difficult to sit in back of bus. We were down visiting from Alaska. I had no idea how difficult it was to transport kids needing a child seat. Doug made sure we were aware of all AZ laws and even offered to buy a child seat for us so we had one when we arrived. Above and beyond when it comes to making accommodations for others. The Camelback Inn concierge recommended Doug when I was looking for airport transport for my family that includes an infant and a three year old. He had car seats for the little ones, and the van was extra comfortable. Doug is clearly all about customer service. He kept track of our flight on line and met us inside the airport-- a real treat when traveling with kids. He was knowledgable about the area and interesting to talk to and made us instantly at ease. We booked him for the return trip and will book him again next year! A great experience all around, and we highly recommend this service. WARNING DRIVERS NOT LICENSED! My family booked this company's bus service and the van for a trip to the Grand Canyon. The AZ DOT and Park Rangers stopped the bus for inspection at the gate and took the bus out of service. It had numerous mechanical and safety violations. Officials said it was the worst they had seen out of hundreds of buses that day. In addition the two drivers - including Doug - did not have the proper licenses to be operating the vehicles. We have had to file police reports. In addition, Doug left my entire group stranded - 30+ people including 3 infants - at the Grand Canyon. He left, without having resolved the situation or helping us find a ride back to Scottsdale 4 hours away. He became confrontational and hung up when we tried to contact him so he could pay for the rental cars we were forced to purchase. This company not only put my entire family in danger by driving a bus that should never have been on the road, but the owner refuses to take responsibility. He refuses to refund our money and we will be forced to take legal action. read more

We were in Glendale, AZ for a graduation and had to be transported from the University straight to the airport since we only had less than 2.5 hours from the time the graduation ended to the time our flight departed. I was a little worried that the shuttle wouldn't be there on time, hence missing our flight so I called Doug a couple of times to make sure everything would be okay time wise... He assured me everything would be fine. He arrived 5 minutes early exactly where I told him to meet us (since it's a big campus I was afraid he would get lost, but did not). I was expecting a big van with the words "Ride the Dougie" on the side but instead, we were picked up in a nice looking, black SUV. This was a nice touch since the graduate and his family were waiting with us for our ride t pick us up. Doug was very nice and we had a good conversation. Ride was smooth and we got to the airport on time. I will definitely call Doug next time I'm in the area. read more

What a fiasco! After we innocently hired Dougie to take the family, which included over 30 adults and 3 babies, on our journey through Arizona, we find out that not only did he take us on a possible death ride due to a bus with no brakes, a falsified drivers log, and a long list of many other irregularities, he and his other driver (who drove us half way across the state) were not licensed nor trained to drive a bus! Imagine our shock when we discovered that this man was merely interested in collecting our money with total disregard for our safety and well being. It was only by the grace of God that our entire family was not killed due to his greed and selfish behavior! ! The bus was impounded at the Grand Canyon due its deplorable conditions and we were told it would probably never be fit to drive again! To make matters even worse, he left us stranded with no alternate transportation back to our hotel, which by the way was a good 5 hours away! After several attempts to contact Dougie, it was evident (after he hung up on us a good number of times) that he had no interest in assisting us in our search to find alternate transportation to get back to our hotel. His only quest was to cash a large check and flee the scene....which he was successful in doing! Personally, I would be more then happy to come back to Arizona to testify against this man in a court of law, should that be necessary! Please, do not hire this company if you value your life and the life of those around you! read more
