We had our electrical panel upgraded by Riddle Electric Service and the whole experience was fantastic. Forrest came to look at my house and look at my system the day I called, he was professional and polite and very knowledgeable. He gave me good price and was able to schedule the work for the following week. The following week arrived and unlike many other contractors I've dealt with Victor showed up on time, with everything he needed and ready to get some work done. Victor was fantastic, he too was polite and professional. He was also very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions while he worked. I was very curious about the whole process so there were a lot of questions he didn't need to answer but he still took the time to explain everything I wanted to know. I have had no problems since the work was done and will happily call Riddle Electric again whenever I need electrical service. read more

Vic did an awesome job doing recessed lighting, putting together a jigsaw style ceiling light, and installing a pendant light in our kitchen. He even took the time to drop knowledge on me about various codes and helpful information regarding safety, one of which may have saved my new home from burning to the ground. Vic takes great pride and care in doing his job well and is the type of person who will strive to ensure the work is to the highest standards. read more

Brenden M did a fantastic job replacing an outlet for us the same day we called it in! Highly recommend!

We've used Riddle for multiple services, including having multiple outlets replaced, and most recently, having a Tesla home charger installed. Riddle's electricians have always been fantastic--responsive to concerns and explaining steps/issues along the way. We were especially impressed with how smoothly the team installed the EV home charger, and for a reasonable price, too. We will continue using Riddle for our electrical service needs! read more

Calm, patient, and professional. Fixed my problem remarkably fast. Would 100% call again for any and all electrical issues.

Victor came by to repair some switches that were acting funny. He knew exactly what was going on as soon as I showed him and was able to replace them. He also gave me a call about 30 minutes prior to his arrival to let me know a closer time within the 2 hour window of when he would be here which was very helpful. read more

Worst electric service A technician with the name of Victor came and disrespectfully spoke to me and my son. He didn't look at anything and stormed out of our home without completing the job. He acted like a he was a know it all and spoke with such disrespect. He left without completing his work and throwing a tantrum like a child. read more

Victor came to our house on two separate occasions to fix multiple electrical issues in the house. Victor quickly fixed all of our problems during each visit. He knows his stuff. We're recent first-time homeowners, and Victor was very kind to explain to us how the electricals work and how to maintain them. Would recommend Victor and Riddle Electic Service without any reservations. read more

I have not even used their service. First of all whomever answered the phone was basically screaming when I was trying to find out the cost of someone to come out and figure out what is wrong with my outside door light. He mentioned something about a fee to come and when I asked him what the fee was for he started yelling, "EVERY BUSINESS CHARGES THIS. THEY WOULD BE STUPID NOT TO. WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR MILEAGE?" Wait what? I'm confused, I'm like listen I'm not arguing with you I need clarification on what's to be expected during the visit. So I let the gentleman - I use this loosely - ramble, thanked him and find an electrician who is coming out for a FREE ESTIMATE this weekend. So much for the upcharge. I saw a couple of their vehicles in my area but I know for certain, I wouldn't waste my time with them. Dodge a bullet. read more

Victor was the absolute worst, he was so disrespectful to us and barely looked at the things we needed fixed. He stormed out and completely disregarded every issue we had. WORST costumer service ever, I have never been disrespected like this before especially from someone who i paid to do a service. Very unprofessional, would not recommend even if they were the last company on earth ! read more

I first met Forest after I replaced an old plug in a house I bought with a GFI and it kept faulting. Forest serviced my home warranty, came out and quickly diagnosed that the microwave was illegally spliced into my clothes washer and was sorting into a metal hood, risking fire. I liked Forest's straightforward approach. A few months later when I was doing a multi room remodel, I needed electric corrected and new circuits added, an extensive punch list of work. I had a quote from another company but the price was over the top. Forest gave me a bid and actually pointed out things in my list that needed to change due to code and architecture. Forest and Victor came out and worked through my the punchlist of work quickly, stuck to code and found and fixed a major code issue from old work, all while staying under budget. They always use the right materials even if they're more expensive. Great, easy to work with, my goto experts for electrical work. A+, will recommend to friends. read more

This is a very late review but it should not reflect negatively on Victor and Riddle Electric. Victor came out to address two items but I got lucky that he had a cancellation after my appointment so he addressed many items for me including installing a ceiling fan, and figuring out an electrical mystery in my kitchen. The work was done professionally, Victor was knowledgeable, friendly and personable, and I'll be glad to have him back if I need any additional work done. read more

I rarely leave reviews and when I do, it's either for horrible or phenomenal service. In this case, Riddle was phenomenal. Victor arrived on time and even accommodated me by allowing me time to arrive from work. He was pleasant, patient, and resolved our issue all while explaining the problem. I honestly don't know the level of experience some of the 1-star reviewers were subjected to, but this was certainly not my experience. Ask for him by name. read more

I had a breaker that wouldn't stay flipped, so we called our home warranty and they recommended Riddle Electric. Thankfully, they sent Victor to come and fix the issue. I would highly recommend Victor to fix your electrical needs; it really felt like a friend was coming over rather than a service call. read more

Having lost power at 1030 AM, I was finally connected to Riddle Electric via my home warranty service after 4 other companies who never returned a call (that was just the icing on the long day of issues!). I called Riddle immediately and was connected to Forest. Forest did some basic troubleshooting with me over the phone and I was able to text him some photos of my breaker panel. He was honest and straight forward that my main breaker was old and not manufactured anymore, which could have resulted in a 3 day job to replace the panel, he informed me he would call back in 30 minutes, he had to check if he had an old breaker. Exactly 30 minutes later Forest was calling me from the road with a breaker in hand and en-route. 30 minutes after he arrived we had power restored (3:15 pm) Forest also pointed out some issues that I will have remedied by tonight. If you need prompt, honest, and professional service, Call Riddle Electric. I am so grateful, thanks Forest. P.S. Enjoy your vacation :) read more

Victor was excellent today! He called and offered to arrive early (have you ever heard of an electrician being early??), which was perfect for my schedule. "That being said I do not believe that saying we hung up on you or lied to you in any way is accurate or warranted." Actually, no. You were dishonest, and you hung up. You said: "Surface mounting the wires would cost "more" than not surface mounting the wire." Please don't try to change the facts. You did hang up. The conversation was not finalized before the conversation was cut off. Right after the conversation ended, I immediately text you letting you know that I understand that your signal might be weak. Please give me a call back to continue with the conversation the next time you get a chance. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. I never received a return calls. The technician name was Victor. I have never seen such dishonest and non professional business with no ethics. My HMS insurance assigned Riddle Electric Service to fix the problem in my Electric panel and after the technician examine, he told me that one of the breakers was the wrong type and the Insurance won't cover it. He said that he has to check if he has the spare breaker in his Van, he came back after 5 min and told me he has to go out and buy it. He took over an hour and a half and came back with three old looking breaker then replaced them within 5 min and asked me to pay $190 for 1.5 hours of labor and 75 dollars for materials including the time he spent outside in total $265. The labor charge was wrong and he had to came back to correct it to $142.50. The total came to $217.50. Generally, they make me pay for the time he spent outside the job and high material cost than the market provides. When I checked the market price of Home depot for the "BR 120 circuit" breaker that he claimed he bought elsewhere is $5.30 which he claimed and charged me as $35 as well as two "BR 115" circuit breakers, which he charged me $40 even the most expensive one is 10.73 at Home depot which is a 10 min drive from my home. The technician told us he went to two different Home depot's and finally upon not finding a circuit breaker said he went to their warehouse. When we asked for the receipt of those purchases, we were told that since technicians do not go to commercial stores for stuff like this, they went to their supplier and there is no receipt for those purchases, which is absurd. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I am writing this review so no one else goes through this. read more

Riddle Electric came to repair a ceiling fan under my warranty contract. Nick was the technician and he was as nice and courteous as could be. He took his time and was able to determine the problem and to fix it!!! It was a pretty expensive fan and I thought it would require replacing. I was so impressed! While he was here, I asked him to look at a bathroom exhaust fan. I knew that I would pay outside of the warranty program for any repair to the exhaust fan but he said no problem he'd look at it. He did that and adjusted something and it's working!!! He did not charge anything for that service. This experience with Riddle was impressive and I will always request them for my electric services.
