I ordered my bike and my rack on July 1 and although I do understand that summertime is busy, I was told my E bike and rack should arrive within two weeks. It took three weeks for the delivery and it took another additional week for my bike to get assembled so that I could come pick it up, which was disappointing. Then another major disappointment, my bike rack arrived without all of the parts so I am unable to transport my bike using my bike rack. It is now been an additional four weeks while I'm waiting for this one part to come in and here it is September 4. Bottom line is is I'm not happy with customer service support! The bike rack should've been ordered with the correct parts and the staff did admit that they forgot to order the part that I needed so that I could secure my bike because it has fenders. I can understand forgetting once but now it's been an additional month with a bike rack that I cannot use because the bike cannot be properly secured. Then I was told that they would order it right away and send me the tracking number and have it shipped directly to my house and it's been over two weeks and I still haven't received the tracking number, so I don't know if the part has been ordered yet and it's on its way or not. Even stopping at the shop in personand asking did not net me any answers. Not impressed!

The second was when I went looking for upgrades to that same bike and was told that I wasn't fast enough or fit enough to be worthy of upgrades. In fact, they'd be wasted on me. Whether or not I'm "fast enough" should not determine whether I'm allowed to purchase upgrades for equipment I own and a sport I care about. The comment was dismissive and unprofessional. I reached out to Grey Ghost about my concerns and never received a response. If they had addressed the situation I wouldn't be so critical. Grey Ghost has a strong reputation locally for bike fits, based on my experiences I would question that reputation. These interactions left me feeling dismissed as a customer and doubtful of the quality of the fit I received and others are receiving as well. I regret the money I spent with them and would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to a fit or major purchase from Grey Ghost.

Upon installation and first use, I was concerned about how much the rack bounced. Larry said it was standard and the bouncing was intensified by the rear view camera. As I did more research, I learned that Larry improperly designed the rack for my rig. Despite being aware of the limited weight of my hitch, he built it improperly and didn't take into account the weight of the items or how far back he set up the rack and damaged the frame on my rig. Despite promises to help resolve the issue, he refused blaming it all on me. Guy is a scammer, who doesn't stand by his product. I would be very careful doing business with his company. Glad I sold the crummy rack and got something that was well designed. Beware !!

I was floored by the insane price ($400) the vespa dealership in Schenectady was trying to charge me so I started looking around. The vespa dealership tried to tell me the high price was because it was "labor intensive" and they had to take the muffler off. IDK if it's cause I'm a female or they thought I was too stupid to google it but it LITERALLY involves 4 bolts! Needless to say I won't reward this nonsense with my business so I ended up buying my tires online for a total of $130 then I took them to sportline and they charged me $100 to swap them out! So yea, for $230 I got the work done and the guys were FANTASTIC, they let me know my tail light was out and fixed it too. Needless to say they have a customer for life now!

We went to West Mountain for a school trip and we had such a great time. It was a great family…read moremountain that accommodated to our large group size. One night the mountain provided us a BBQ dinner with s'mores while tubing. The kids had a blast. What we were most impressed with was how a staff member was able to adjust my sons ski lesson. He is 4 but an intermediate level skier and was originally put into a beginner level. They were able to give him his own instructor. Looking forward to the next time.

However, I'm still stewing and frustrated that my bike is still broken after being charged $250 for a tune up and a tire replacement and being nice didn't fix that. The front tire wobbles after being replaced, the bike is very very hard to peddle to make it move forward, the brakes aren't tight and the front brake doesn't grab the front tire so it's useless, and they put a sticker on my bike. As stupid as the sticker part sounds, how would you feel if every mechanic threw a bumper sticker on your car? Why haven't I called them to re-look at the bike? I don't want to spend at-least another $250 to have them come "fix" the bike. The bike is old and they knew that coming in to this. It needed a total overhaul, which I was very clear about and I thought we both understood this. I'm very disappointed and frustrated that I still need to invest more money into this bike to have it fixed.

I like Karl to succeed, yes it cost a little more, but he is okay with me watching, teach me how to do simple maintenance, how to ride better, and within 2 hrs, I have my bike back and riding off into day... I like not having to drop my bike off and never seeing it for 3 weeks, and if I ask to watch the repairs/maintenance I usually get the excuse, no customer in the back, so I can't even be sure it is being worked on, only to trust that it is.
