He made no mention of the incident and left without a test drive to ensure his work's integrity. It wasn't until the following day that he admitted to what happened after insisting he come back to take the car for a test drive to demonstrate the new problem. He explained to me that he had done it before with his own car so I would need a new master cylinder. Since then we had one communication and then radio silence. I am now left with a failed breaking system that could have caused serious injury or worse.I would not recommend Shawn due to his lack of responsibility or consideration of the safety of his clients. His way of business will get somebody killed someday.

Seemed like a lot of things were unnecessary. Unfortunately less than a week later my car still wouldn't start leaving me unable to go to work. What exactly was the money I paid for? All I asked was to make my car go from point A to point B. Unfortunately I brought it back and still had to pay for the parts that were actually wrong. They admitted that they didn't test the proper electrical things the original time. Extremely upset that I paid for things that were not absolutely necessary. I never wanted to pay $1000 that I didn't have, but I needed to go to work. Be careful with these people if you do not know a lot about cars and are in a predicament I later had faith in them and brought my car back to have this insane popping noise looked at. They told me it was nothing and that they cut a piece of plastic off my car that was hanging. I later got an oil change at a BASIC oil change place. Within 5 minutes they noticed that a sway bar link was broken. Wondering why they weren't able to see that, because they called me a few times wondering what sound I even heard. don't bother. these guys will screw you. it doesn't say family Automotive because they're aimed at…read morehelping a family this is family Automotive because it is a family working there. that aside these guys claim to do everything including the tow but what they really do is they tow your car and they give you an unrealistic shot at redeeming yourself then they'll strike up a deal and buy your car for scrap and wave the fees that they incurred. for those of you that are still a bit lost this is called a racket. they claim to do everything but when they received my vehicle which just needed a fuel pump they told me that it's going to need thousands of dollars of repairs and they can't do it because... and get this... they can't do it because they're too busy fixing other cars. choosing between a rock and a hard place I was forced to scrap my car for a measly $100 [and it has give cats] because I couldn't afford to pay them for the tow. however I had brought my car there with a grant from a business in Chippewa falls that agreed to pay for parts and labor no matter what it cost. EC PD phoned for an "available" tow from companies on their list, which is standard procedure. EC PD is not to blame for this. Tow truck arrives. Driver asks if we have full coverage insurance. Driver is unable to tell us which tow yard my vehicle will be taken to. Phones his boss. Driver then reports it will be taken to a secure Menards self-storage yard in EC near Alpine Rd. Asks again if we have full coverage. 10/9/25 I had a 3-way call with Progressive Insurance agent and boss/owner of Artic Wolf Towing, Isaiah Prince. I wanted to get my personal belongings out of the vehicle. Isaiah said his driver was out on a tow call to Lacrosse, WI. Won't be back until 6PM. Informed him we would be there at 6PM. Isaiah gives an address of 5566 Christopher Dr EC, which he says is a residential address, to meet up with the driver, who will take us to the storage yard, which requires a PIN to gain entrance to. We arrived at the address as scheduled at 6PM. It is in a housing development. It is a twin home/duplex. Tow company was a no-show. I phoned Isaiah. He says driver had another tow call. This time in Baldwin, WI. Isaiah said they had gone through my vehicle and removed my belongings, which were in a tote outside of this residence. I should take my belongings and leave my spare car keys in the mailbox of this residence, which I did not. I took my belongings and we drove to the Menards storage yard. We were able to get in. Drove through the entire yard. My vehicle was NOT there! Husband calls Isaiah. Where is our vehicle? Isaiah says he doesn't have to disclose the location to us. The vehicle belongs to the insurance company now. Husband informs Isaiah that as long as we have the title, it is our vehicle. And until insurance pays us and gets the title from us, it is still our property. Where is it? This time Isaiah says his driver had a tow call in Menomonie, WI (he told me Baldwin, WI). Isaiah says customers stranded on the side of the road take priority. Husband informed him that we are also customers and this is no way to run a business. Isaiah still would not release the location of our vehicle. Husband tells Isaiah that we will be back at 8AM tomorrow and our vehicle better be there! Isaiah agreed to a time of 9:30AM. 10/10/25 8AM Phoned Progressive Insurance agent and informed him what happened last night. Husband researched Artic Wolf Towing and determined their LLC has only been in effect since 7/7/25. 9:30AM We arrived at 5566 Christopher Dr EC again as scheduled. The tow truck driver was there to meet us in the driveway in a personal vehicle. He was red-faced and embarrassed. Very nice guy and totally apologetic. Too bad he works for an a-hole. We all went to the Menards self-storage yard again. Today our vehicle was there. We were able to thoroughly go through the vehicle and retrieve the remainder of what we wanted out of the vehicle. In summary: Artic Wolf Towing does not have a physical business address, other than a residential address in a housing development, which is in a twin home/duplex. They obtained their LLC in July 2025. This is the most unprofessional business we have ever dealt with. The fact that they refused to disclose the location of where they towed my vehicle to and then went through my personal belongings in my vehicle without my permission is unacceptable and a total invasion of privacy.
