been waiting on a payroll check to be delivered for 3 weeks now still hasent showed up. yesterday…read morewaited on another payroll check to be delivered. by 230 pm when the mail had not come went into the post office to try and pick it up. but it had covienrly just been sent out for delivery. so when mail had not been deliverd by 445pm i called the post office and they said my usual carrier was out and the person they sent out needed help delivering the mail. as of 3 am this morning im still waiting on the mail to be delivered. i know this because i kept checking the outgoing box and the same mail from 9 am feiday is still in the outgoing box at 3am. im waiting on a payroll check for the second time but just getting excises not service

I had a package say it was delivered in my locked mailbox but it was not there. I don't live with…read moreroommates and I'm the only one with a key to this lock box. I work a 9-5 job m-f so I can't go to the post office during their normal hours. They don't pick up their phone. Every hour I'd call them 7-8 times and nothing was picked up. 83 calls total over the course of 5 buisness days and I got them to pick up twice. The first time they were very helpful, told me they'd talk to the delivery driver to see what was going on and the would give me a call back with more info. Over a buisness day goes by and no call back so I start grinding out calling them every hour 7-8 times until someone eventually picked up again and told me "yeah it's lost go file a claim" of which I have the second I noticed it was missing. You get a confirmation email saying "well get back to you in 1 buisness day about updates on your situation" and on the website where the claim is it says 3 buisness days. I waited 4 buisness days and nothing. So I'm out an expensive package, several hours trying to call to get updates (I called throughout the entire day starting at 8:30am on the dot and my last call would be about 4:55pm). I don't know what other words I can use to express how unprofessional, unhelpful, and unmotivated these workers are.

Thank goodness it wasn't live plant's, they'd be dried out by now. As of today, my package is 13 day's in transit. That explains why it was in limbo for 7 day's. This is a deplorable location for the USPS. The main post office isn't much better. Had a package…read moredelivered that they damaged and the sender filed a claim. Received a letter stating that I could take the package to ANY post office to return for the claim. The counter person was rude and very unhelpful. Finally, after being argumentative, got a supervisor to take a look and she was also fairly rude. I was told I would have to take my package to the Main office where I would need to see a customer service rep. because they apparently cannot do the whole job at this location. The Main branch is also the passport location. Again, the customer service was frustrating. The whole process for their failure to deliver a package that was undamaged took nearly an hour. Employees really need some retraining at the West Salem branch. Complete and utter infuriating situation that the USPS caused.

I've been purging some things recently and have found the larger drop down bin openings to be so helpful when I drop pre-paid packages off. The staff is patient, friendly and very accommodating.
