My wife and I were finishing up a medical appointment and our tummies were growling. We'd been talking about stopping for burgers when we saw Hideout Burgers. I checked out the reviews and said let's give it a try. We were not disappointed when our burgers arrived. The owners are so gracious and friendly. They checked with us several times to see if there was anything else we needed. My wife is a traditionalist. She likes her fries and a regular ole burger, nothing fancy at all. She loved the fries, and her burger was perfect. I love a good chili cheeseburger and onion rings. Oh my, when I took the first bite, I was in heaven. I had a very happy tummy. The onion rings were over the top. The rings were tender and had the perfect amount of breading. We'll definitely stop in the next time we're in the area. Thank you Hideout Burgers for a wonderful meal.

Large menu with many types of burgers & fried sides but also chicken, steak fingers, turkey (burger, club, melt), chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steaks & a couple salads. They also have ice cream & malts. Burgers are 1/2 lb and appear to be handmade! You order at counter and they give you a number to take to your table. We went around 1130am during the week. Easy parking in front of store. There were about 4 tables already eating and people picking up to-go orders. Appeared to be several regulars. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered, grabbed our drinks and table, had time to wash our hands then the food was being delivered as soon as we got back to the table! We enjoyed our CHEESEBURGER (I get dry) and MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER! We wanted to try different sides so we each got a 1/2 order of a side. Now that we know the burgers are 1/2lb, we will probably split burger next time. The FRIED MUSHROOMS were great! I enjoyed the light batter. Probably met my max sodium intake for the day by the time I was done. The SWEET POTATO FRIES with sea salt were also great! They offered us sea salt, cajun, or cinnamon sugar as the seasonings! I was impressed to be given options. We will definitely keep this on our list of great burger places to eat at!

There was turf for the kiddos to run and play and there were even kiddos playing with a soccer ball. Unfortunately someone dropped a Tupperware container and glass got on a piece of the turf but some parents and staff cleaned it up really well and none of the kids got hurt. The food was really good but a bit pricey. We tried a few burgers, the nuggets, tots, and a slushy and it was roughly $35. It did come out hot and fresh but the slush was half melted by the time we got it. Maybe just a timing issue not a big deal! We'll still be back just maybe not for a full meal. The inside and outside were kept clean. The women's bathroom had a changing table. The staff were friendly and attentive. The game was on and the music wasn't crazy loud.

He atmosphere leans heavily towards small children and they were certainly everywhere. The kids make this joint pretty loud and there was lots of coughing and crying. The place is inviting and the person that took my order was very friendly. The burgers were bad, but they were a little smaller than I expected. About the size of an In N Out burger, which isn't bad, I just thought for the price it would be bigger. Even though it was smaller than expected, I thought the amount of meat in the burger was good and the burger had good flavor. I also liked the sauce options. There are a few different sauces near the fountain drinks that you can grab for your meal. If I had a younger child or if this was closer to home this would definitely be in our regular rotation. Nice place for the kids to play, good food for everyone to eat.

We headed across the lake into Mansfield and stopped at Jakes Burgers and Beer. Jakes stays open until 11 p.m. and was easy to get to off Broad St. I lived off Skillman the last time I had a Jakes Burger and my husband has never had one. Our friendly waiter reassured me they hadn't changed. The menu certainly has though! What a vast array of creative ideas for burgers, sandwiches and even breakfast and brunch! It took me awhile to decide. Salads, platters, veggies. Great choices. There were so many appealing appetizers, but we decided on the Half and Half Hand-Breaded Jalapeño Bottle Caps & Hand-Breaded Pickle Chips, served with ranch. When they came, I can honestly say the grouping looked nothing like the photo. These were much smaller. But for the two of us, the portion was okay and it was delicious. The jalapeños were spicy and the pickles tangy. A terrific combo to get your palate fired up. My spouse had ordered the Kickin' Chicken Fried Bacon Burger and it arrived in all its glory. Two beef patties with hickory sauce and melted cheese, lettuce, red onion, chipotle mayo, topped with two slices of beautiful chicken fried bacon. He let me have a bite of the bacon. It's crazy good. My burger came, the Bacon Bleu Burger with Bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a creamy bleu cheese dressing with crumbles. I had ordered extra pickles on the side and I received four but I absolutely love them so I asked for four more right away. I think it's sacrilege to just put whole intact slices of onion on anything without separating the rings, so I had to "operate" before I could eat. I also asked for a plain bun. You have a choice between poppy seed or plain. This was a truly delicious burger. One of the best bleu cheese burgers I've ever had and very filling. I took half home!
