I really had high hopes for this place and was excited to try a local spot. It seemed that two bartenders were working when we arrived. We received our drinks quickly and enjoyed them. They've got a great variety of beer! At that point, we sat with empty glasses and a menu thinking we'd be helped again soon. Apparently the bartenders had better things to do. One was quite busy with his conversation with what looked to be other employees or regulars, while the other promptly sat at a table with someone and put his head down, clearly ready for a nap. Once we were finally spoken to again, we paid our bill and went and enjoyed some beers and food at another local bar where service seems to matter. I should say that we don't require constant doting upon but when we got to a bar, we expect at least a little service. read more

April, Bubba, & The Dude with the beard (can't remember his name to save my life) are the sweetest people. Family owned pub with a constantly changing selection. Come for your birthday and get a birthday sized beer! Honestly it's just a plain and simple pub run by an awesome family. The beers are great. I can't handle a lot of alcohol so I get the $2 samplers and taste a few new beers each time I go. My friends are definitely regulars here. And they pretty much drink the whole menu. read more

Might have four stars IF there was a kitchen, more of their own brewed beers (there were only two of at least a dozen) and some ambiance. Pretty basic inside. Been open two weeks but seemed like it was still too early and lots of stuff left undone. They didn't have flights - yet - because they didn't have the glassware, and when we asked for water, we got a warm bottle of Kirkland. While the brewmaster was very informative and friendly, the owners were also there but not really interacting with anyone. Every other new local place we've been, the owners have made it a point to talk to people and thank them for coming in. It's a great way to make customers feel valued and want to come back. All that said, would love to see the place succeed. Props to them for opening a neighborhood brewery, but wasn't feeling the passion we read about. Best of luck. read more

This is our favorite brewery! We have always had awesome customer service and excellent beer. They are constantly changing their beers on tap which is refreshing and they always have a great selection of their own beer and other AZ beers. read more

Have never been a fan of ipa's, porters, etc (really just a domestic fan) until I tried the brews at Richters. Their in house brews are so smooth and have no aftertaste . The Owners are always on site and are the nicest people you will find. They also have different food trucks every Friday night (great way to support other small businesses) which is another great reason to visit the brewery. Richter's has forever made me a fan! read more

I am sorry guys, I just have to refute the "fake news" that Mike S is spewing. First off, I know for a fact they were not open on Election night, the post you refer is when the owners were brewing for the Grand Opening in December 2016. I have been to this establishment many many times and have never seen the owners drunk, to say so is a blatant lie. Additionally, the so-called Facebook post that he supplies is taken out of context, it refers to them opening late on that date, stating sorry for the inconvenience but come drink your sadness away...get it...because they opened late. They have 13 selections on tap with 5 from Richter Aleworks and others from Huss, Historic, Borderlands, The Shop and Tombstone. Great people and great atmosphere. Oh by the way I am a Republican and love this place. read more

Been coming here for over 2 years now. Love the beers and the low key environment. Food trucks on Friday evenings are a must. Derek is friendly once you get to know him. Our go to place for a beer or 4 read more

Food was great. Loved all the brews we sampled. Served by part of the Richter family who was knowledgeable about their brewing process and happy to advise on our selections. Liked the down to earth decor. Everything was clean and well presented. Will be back! read more

This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots! My fiancé and I stop in often for great beer, friendly service and excellent food. Every Friday there is a food truck which I love because the Richter's enjoy supporting other small businesses. The beer is constantly changing which means there is always something new to try. If you take the time to get to know the owners you will not be disappointed. read more

Had high hopes but the beer has crazy aftertastes and isn't really worth the trip. I hope they improve because they have a great spot!

Grate place to hand out and grab a couple beers. The beer selection is rotating often, so there is always something new to give a try.

The owners was extremely rude and unwelcoming I will not waste my money on people who do not appreciate their customers

Stopped in last night to have a couple pints. Grabbed a couple seats at the bar and ordered and recieved our drinks and was pretty happy with the place up to this point. From then on though it went downhill. One employee wandered off to a table and put his head down to have a bit of a nap, the other employees gathered at the other end of the bar to chat and ignore their customers. After sitting with an empty glass for ten minutes the bartender broke from the chat and I was able to pay my tab, which was unfortunate because I had planned on having a few but since I didn't know when I'd have his attention again I figured I'd better pay up and move on while I could. The one bright spot was the one beer i had was pretty decent, not worth the shoddy service, but pretty good. read more

Awesome people, awesome beer and awesome atmosphere! Great local place to go hang out and chill.

This is a tough place to figure out; to me it had an uncomfortable vibe. They are a brewery but only had two of their own beers (disappointing) both were fair, hopefully this will change in the future. The selection of beers from other breweries was descent but I can go to a sports bar and get those beers for a better price. One good thing was the service; I believe the individual who was behind the bar was the son of the owners, nice guy and very attentive. My advice, get food (other than food truck), more of your own beers and more TV's (I think there was only one). Will give this place another try in the future. read more

I don't get up here very often, but I love it here. The owners are super friendly and the beer is always great. They are always ready with some great recommendations. I never really know what I want, but they never fail to find a beer that I love. read more

Located in a nice part of Peoria, this spot provides an always satisfying and diverse rotation of taps that is impossible to ignore if you love craft beer. Hefeweizen, IPA's, and sours are my favorite go to's here. When you want to watch the game but don't want to be somewhere super loud or wait long for service, this place comes in clutch. read more

I am giving this place 4 stars because its new and has tremendous potential and i love seeing non-chains in this part of town (it is so desperately needed). The staff is friendly and you really feel like you are just hanging out in someone's home. The beers were tasty and while they do not currently serve food, they had a food truck camped outside for those who need a bite with their brews. Would definitely come back, would like to see more options for food but I am sure that they are getting there. Don't expect anything fancy -- be cool and give this place the time that it needs to grow. read more

If you like places where you can kick back, grab a good beer, and chill...this place is perfect. We stopped in for a single beer to try the brewery out and ended up sitting there for hours, left to have dinner, and then came back. We got to meet the owners and their son. Our service was great and what fun people! We will definitely be back...hopefully with an entourage of friends so they can enjoy a good brew too! read more

We were making our own beer tour and we made this one of the stops and it was a great choice. The atmosphere is eh but what made up for it were the Owner and Erica the, beerista(she also works at Starbucks) and the beer. They have 2 of their own on tap and then lots of other local different stuff. They have a small menu of food, we had some garlic cheese bread bites to munch on and it was tasty. They have lots of different seating from smaller tables to big long ones and a huge bar, which was nice. Erica and Mrs.R(I didn't get her name or I could have but I had had a few drinks) were awesome! They were super personable and funny which makes you want to go back somewhere. It's not super close to where we live but we will be back! read more

Super lame. No customer service skills. Brewers don't even make eye contact. So disappointed. We try to support local business. I will not be back. read more

I LOVE this place. Their beer is amazing and the food is delicious. If you're looking to get some delicious beer this is the place to go.

Great beer selection and friendly service. My wife and I visited this local family run brewery last visit and plan to go back again soon!

Great little tasting place. Offers a variety of different beef flavors from a lot of local places that you normally do not see elsewhere. I will definitely go back and recommend it. read more

This place is a great up and coming brewery on the west side of town. Really like the place and the owners! Great beers on tap. Sounds like they will have some great brews coming too!! read more

Some great brews. All local drafts plus their own unique and delicious brews. I'm a fan. It's so nice to have good options over in the West Valley. I really do recommend. read more

We're always looking for local micro breweries to check out around Phoenix and Richter did not disappoint. Great beer and despite a small menu what they do have is very good. I recommend the buffalo chicken pizza and a few beers of course! read more

Great spot to stop off for a beer. New business but they have great service and tasty beer. Nice TV's with plenty of sports to watch. This will be one of my stops every time I'm in town. read more

Great place to throw back some beers. Personable brewmaster and owners. Definitely has a neighorhood feel to it. Background music would be my only suggestion to add to the ambiance, I know they're working on it. read more

This place has a great beer selection but the atmosphere is lacking. Very quiet inside. The food was okay but I think they just need to focus on their beer instead of trying to do too much. read more

Great local family place! The beer was good, the food was good, service was great and everyone was friendly - seems like you become like Family quickly around here. read more

Beer: 4 stars. Great diverse selection. Can move to 5 stars once they release a couple more of their own brews. From what they said, should be 2 more in the near future. Atmosphere: 3 stars. Cool building/decorations/etc. Change the music (not my opinion - what I heard from the tables around me). Service: 1 star. Have a story/history. Teach that story/history to your employees. Get out of your chair and interact with guests. Some hospitality training/business management training, etc. would be beneficial. I shouldn't act like I know their background. Maybe they have that background and for some other reason did not display it. What I do know is that there were 14-16 guests in at the time I visited (Saturday night from 5-6 o'clock), and I could have made their experience much better - in turn making this establishment much more money. So, why 3 stars when my average comes to 2? All they need are some very small changes (2 more beers, different music, and to get out of their seats to turn this into a 5 star establishment. I'm so happy they opened a spot in the Peoria area. It was needed. I wish them nothing but success and hope they take my feedback and use it to improve. read more

Great Brewery!! Amazing flatbread and a perfect local hangout for the west side. Awesome brewmaster and I'm a huge fan of local and family owned businesses. Highly recommend!!! read more

We love going when there's a food truck! Trying new beers is always fun, and the service is great

This place had potential but I had wouldn't go above 3 stars at the present. They only had three tap handles of their own beer. And they were all IPA's. Ten guest beers on tap, most in the IPA family. It's obvious where the brewers taste lies but the is a broader beer world out there. Very limited food menu but they have a food truck that's stops. Might try again in the future if their website shows more of their own beer. read more

Love this local brewery! Brandon & Co do an outstanding job brewing and serving fantastic beer. Service is always excellent and attentive. The food is consistently good, and the food trucks they bring in are stellar! read more

If there was ever a place to call your home away from home, this is it. The best selection of beers, yummy food to snack on, and the best owners ever. This is the place to meet up with your friends & play Dominos or cards or just catch up on life. Still waiting for the pool where we can all sit and cool off, but that will surely come in time read more

Disappointing to say the least! Awkward & uncomfortable environment. The owners sat at the end of the bar stuffing their faces with food & beer & didn't take their eyes off of their phones/computer the entire 2 hours we were there. They said they offered food but only had frozen pizza. The beer was ok. The only positive was the bottled of water. read more
