The food is what you want it to be in that it can all be made vegan, or not! Everyone is happy this way. We watched the first half of the game while enjoying our food with our infant. Another large family did the same while everyone laughed and talked and ate. Great vibe. My complaints are prices being a bit high but food costs are insane these days so it is what is on that. The other note is that when the check came for the 98% vegan lunch, the mints provided were not vegan. Little details like that can get ya but over all very happy with the experience! I came in with not the highest of expectations cause I haven't had the best experience with vegan food, but the flavor, textures and attention to detail to even the sauces was immaculate. The service here is really nice and getting vegan or meat options doesn't come with extra charge (I got vegan chorizo as my meat). At the moment it's not super busy with activity but once people in campus dabble in more, I can see this being a hit soon. The only heads up I'll give is that the kitchen staff is pretty small so the order took a while, but honestly how the food turned out was worth it. Next time my family comes up to Milwaukee I'm taking them here! Until then, this'll be my weekly burrito fix for the semester!

We were greeted by their lovely outdoor seating area in like the cutest little neighborhood. No line on a weekday afternoon. I was delayed by the very thorough menu filled with options that were all available to me. IYKYK. This was just meant to be a snack so we didn't go crazy. We decided to share the fromage grilled cheese with the offered addition of "tofu ham". For dranks I ordered a matcha latte, GF ordered a mimosa that had turmeric and was a very interesting twist from the standard, run on the mill mimosa. The sandwich came out eventually. Very cheesy. The tofu ham is THICCCC. The sandwich is more cozy and comfortable than hearty. GF says "I thought it was good" when asked for more details, she says "not right now, my brain is tired". Very solid lunch spot and I can't get enough of the fact that it is vegetarian.

Everything was really delicious! The frutti de mare is just seafood and broth. It came with toast but I was there was a starch component but it was tasty & the seafood was of quality! The lamb was also very good - usually, I'm not a fan of lamb but would get this again.

Our attendant, Cammy, was super nice and took great care of us during our meal. We each ordered the "Barbara" cocktail. We usually stay away from "fruity" drinks but this was a great combination of vodka and grapefruit. We stated with the cheese tart which was very tasty although it was smaller than expected so we should've ordered another appetizer. We then had the ravioli di ricotta which was incredible. The sweet peppers really gave the dish an extra kick. We both had the Bavette which was the star of the meal. Steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce gave the vegetables a sweetness that I loved. It was easily one of the best meals we've ever had. Lupi & Iris will definitely give us a reason to come back to Milwaukee more often!

My kiddo got a lemonade. For appetizers we got the pretzel sticks, and the curds with marinara and ranch. So good! Both were well seasoned and delicious. For meals, I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap, with fries. It was good, creamy, and I had crispy chicken replace the grilled. The fries were good. My partner got the Cajun Mac and cheese with chicken and the waitress suggested a side of fries, he said it was very good. My child got the pepperoni pizza, they have a 12inch pizza and it was enjoyed! Definitely recommend for dinner when you're about to go to a show or if you're in the area!

Roasted beets , potato truffle soup. All of this was so good. The soup was amazing. The Hot dogs were surprising, off the daily special menu. Topped it off with a red velvet cheesecake. So good. I ended up at the Hall one day recently because a friend had a coupon for a free sandwich from one of the vendors. I wasn't in the mood for much, so I wandered and took in the large variety of food and drink on offer. (If you can't find something here to satisfy yourself, you're not trying hard enough.) The space itself was large, open, and very noisy. Restrooms were clean. I'll be back some day when I can bring a beer drinker so we can experience City Fountain. I've been to other self-serve tap bars, and they're quite fun!!

The menu features small bites, chicken, loaded fries, and they have specials too. I ordered at the counter and got a text once my food my was ready. There's plenty of seating inside the brewery and the interior is unique because it used to be a church. Don't quote me on that but I'm pretty sure it was at some point. Anyway, I had to try the birria egg rolls because there was a ton of signage. First, they were quite large. The exterior had a great crunch and the interior was stuffed full of delicious birria, mozzarella, and chihuahua cheese. The ancho chipotle aioli was nice and smoky and paired well with the eggrolls. Definitely recommend and I wish I lived in the area because I could make a meal out of just these. I also tried one of the specials, the Chicken Tinga eggrolls. Again, they were bigger than expected, had a delicious, crispy exterior, and was stuffed full of chicken tinga and queso. It was served with a side of crema. Perfect pairing and I might have enjoyed these slightly more than the birria ones. I highly recommend that you check them out. I'm jealous that I don't live closer because we don't have a place like this in KC. They are definitely a unique place with delicious food.

Since this is an authentic Italian restaurant, they don't serve ranch with their pizza, which I completely understand. I personally love a good ranch with my pizza, but that's just my preference. The Caprese salad was fresh and flavorful, and the pasta ball appetizer was delicious. I got the grilled pork banh mi with a cup of broth (~1/2 quart, $5) with a Vietnamese iced coffee. Sandwich was good, but it wasn't very big for $10. The meat, which was good I was expecting to be pieces of grilled meat, was very sparse and very thin, like bulgogi. The broth was pretty sweet instead of savory and likely already pre-seasoned with hoisin. In terms of service, I had placed my order first. Sandwich with the coffee. My partner said he'll have the same thing. I confirmed to make sure that was also including the ice coffee, and the person that took our order said yes. We waited for a while for our order (highly recommend ordering online, we just saw different prices on their website vs online ordering service, so we thought we'd just wait to order in person), then she forgot our iced coffees. We waited some more. She only brought out one. She said oh sorry, I only rang you up for one. So we waited some more. At that point I thought she would just let us have the coffee on the house, but she did indeed ring us up. We were probably in and out with our to-go order in about 40 minutes. All in all, I'd go back for the iced coffees if I was in the area because they were good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
