Was on a roadtrip, had a coupe of issues stopped by and they got me in. it's a beautiful dealership with friendly staff but there are a couple of issues, I asked for a quote and idk if this is a Harley thing or what but they did not give me a quote even though the adviser said he would talk to the mechanic and see what all I needed. They proceeded to do the work without me knowing how much anything will cost. 550 something dollars later I'm hit with the bill. They charged me 134.10 in labor for something they did not even fix or even spend that much time on. read more

Great Service Department! And Merchandise Sales Staff!! While attending my Motorcycle Club Nationals in Richmond, one of my Club Brothers had a n issue with the shifter on his bike that we were unable to fix with the limited tools we had with us. We showed up to Richmond Harley without an appointment and asked if they could get us in and back on the road. They went way beyond by adjusting the day to help us from being stranded and got us back on the road. All with a professional and helpful attitude. We are beyond grateful for their assistance and how we were all treated. I should note, we called several dealerships as we were getting into Richmond, and not ONE was willing to help us out. But Richmond Harley Davidson did. For what it's worth, word travels quickly in the MC community. And my Club and others will know that Richmond Harley had our backs. read more

THE.Best.Dealership.EVER. And I'm not just saying that because I'm hyped up on too much coffee. Seriously. There are not enough words to describe what a great experience I had at this dealership. To start, I didn't come here to buy another bike. I don't have any more room in my garage lol. But they have an enormous selection there. And I didn't come for more gear, because my closet's too full (but they have a great selection plus Wounded Warrior apparel and limited service apparel- but no navy!). After knee surgery and physical therapy this past year, I felt more than a little wobbly on my feet. Since it had been so long since I had taken a BRC, I decided it would behoove me to take the BRC 2 refresher course. Classes for the BRC and refresher course are basically booked for months, even for as expensive as they are (BRC class runs about $300). So I got extremely lucky signing up this time. My instructor was Mark. I cannot say how much I loved having him as an instructor. He was patient, kind and attentive to all my needs. He was stern when he needed to be, and encouraged me when I needed it. I'm eternally grateful he was there for me. And when my course was done, I followed him to visit my original BRC instructor, Gina (I'm certain I didn't spell her name correctly but I tried). It was so warming seeing her! So whether credit is due to the dealership or not, I'm grateful for Mark and Gina being such great instructors here. I highly recommend anyone in need of a refresher course to come here. read more

With a pandemic going on, there wasn't really much to do for a "date day" without kids. My husband and I hopped on 95 south and figured we would just go where the road took us. Richmond Harley-Davidson was visible from the highway and that's where we ended up! Monica was our consultant and we really lucked out with her! She was humble as hell, down to earth, fun to spend hours with and just all around fantastic to buy from. We didn't feel "sold" or jipped. Worked with Hunter from the sales team for a new bike purchase and had a GREAT experience. He was willing to accommodate my schedule to show the bike in question. Prior to the ride he ran me through the specs and tech of the bike to make sure I knew what to check out. The test ride route he picked showcased what it excelled at. I was grateful for his help and expertise (even if the bike was liquid-cooled). Carl from sales took the finances I provided and offered an amount that I would be able to work with. Those two gentleman truly took the time and effort to make sure that I was able to purchase that incredibly ridiculous (and ridiculously fast) liquid-cooled monster. Stopped in on New Year's Day on the way home, and was pleased to find them open. The staff was very friendly, and greeted us, as well as offering to help us find anything in particular. We picked out a few shirts and some other sundry, and we checked out quickly. We also didn't feel pressured, and the staff seemed happy that we were there. they have concerts here all the time and it is so loud the go until 12 and I called the police and tried the officer tried to shut it down and it all went quite and the police officer came back and told me they were shutting down but then no less than ten minutes later i hear the music fire up again over all terrible people it sucks. read more

We have made a thing where we pick up T-shirts at Harley Dealerships thought out the country. Anyway, I would like to say the new location is great but hard to find from the road. Service department is terrible did not pull off previous inspection stickers. $89 to change a lightbulb left fingerprints all over freshly cleaned windshield. Did not set up appointment for recall. Did not order parts for recall until they were instructed to do so. Motorclothes wonderful parts department wonderful. Was approached by a RUDE mechanic and said it was time to buy a new bike. Not A fan of this place. Poor customer svc some people act like you're bothering them. read more

This marks the sixth time I've been to Richmond Harley-Davidson and I've never had good service. The staff won't even get off their butts to greet you even though I was the only person in the store. They only spoke to me to yell not to touch a bike that was sold. Even afterwards, they did not offer to help out leave their desk. Very rude. I visited Richmond Harley Davidson on my way back from Myrtle bike week. I had been hunting down a vest a friend showed me and wanted to purchase one. I had made numerous stops at multiple dealerships and hadn't found one. I walked into this store on a mission like al the others. A lady named Lori Beau, a manager of this store sought me out and asked if I needed any help finding anything. I told her I had been searching for a vest and couldn't find one anywhere. After chatting a bit, Lori looked up all the stores in my area that had the vests in stock. Another lady riding with us that day was also looking for the vest, and she looked them up for her area as well. Gave us a print out of those locations and sent us on our way happy as could be! This is the worse place to get your bike serviced. I had a 9am appointment sat there for 4 hours. Once it was time to replace the parts, found out Savannah didn't order the parts. Wasted my entire day. I don't like saying the word HATE, but I hate even bringing my motorcycle here for service. I wish Harley would consider letting people switch over their maintenance plans to other dealerships because I feel stuck. I'm disgusted!! i was on my way to myrtle beach bike week when my 14 street glide shifter broke, I originally called quantico Harley and as a broke down out of state rider they didn't know if they could take me in that day along with didn't know if they had the time to fix it. I called the second closest with was over an hr away ( Richmond Harley) and spoke with an awesome service advsor ( I believe named chad) and told me over the phone they would do whatever it took to get done and get me back on the road. I made it there and from the service staff all they way to parts and sales staff were friendly and super nice.
