First, it was a tricky installation up in the attic, and they really improved how the furnace was installed up there to give me more space for storage. If nothing else, relocating the new unit was a phenomenal improvement because it opened up new usable space. Second, Josh and Zach's team did great work, showed up on time, and were very professional around the house. Everything was done on time and according to plan. They cleaned up and left the site spotless, and followed through on every detail of the proposal, answering all my questions. Bottom line, they were highly professional, on time, and did a great job. I'd give them six stars if I could. Great company, great people, great work!!!

A friend told me she had hired Adams Heating and Cooling to install AC in her house. She said they had the highest ratings of any company in the area. I did a deep dive, read the reviews myself, and decided this was the company for me. Brian came out to inspect my place. Based on its size, he recommended two different Trane furnaces. They were available to schedule the install within a week of me giving him the go-ahead. His crew arrived at the agreed-upon time and did a great job removing my 40-year-old furnace. What a difference! I love my new furnace. It's SO quiet! It doesn't wake me up in the morning when it kicks on. Here are some words to describe my experience with Brian and his team: professional, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient, polite, kind, responsive, delivered what they promised, easy to work with, and integrity. Adams Heating and Cooling has earned my business, respect, and loyalty. Thank you, Brian and team!

Furnace needed repair for the first time. Given all the symptoms of what was going on, to me, the…read moreproblem seemed possibly related to the blower. Looked over 3 highly rated companies on Yelp for an estimate. All I was looking for was an estimate. Contacted the first two companies. With both, a unexperienced office person answered and both could not give me the estimate I was looking for. Both required a technician to physically check the unit at a cost. It seemed I had no choice but make an appointment with each. Frustrated on knowing I'm going to be paying someone for not fixing the furnace, I contacted Adams Heating to see what they had to offer. Right away, I got a response from the owner in directing me to his tech (Josh). After discussing my situation with him, I cancelled my previous two appointments and made one with Adams. What was the difference??? Simply put ...Integrity and old school values! Josh was honest in his communication and gave me what I exactly wanted, that of an estimate. The problem turned out to be the capacitor and was replaced quickly at a very reasonable price. Throughout the replacement, Josh gave me an quick oversite of the furnace itself which was educating. Should I need any furnace repair in the future, I without any hesitation, will contact Adams once again!

He listened to our unique installation needs and recommended 2 potential solutions. He even came back a second time to help us firm up our decision. The quote was competitive and included the units complete installation and electrical costs. When they say no hidden fees or charges they mean it. John educated us on potential rebates & tax credits and provided all necessary documentation for us to apply for them. It was also a relief that they took care of the entire permit process. Simpson was also able to fulfill our request for the indoor unit to be painted. White was just not going to work in our antique knotty pine cabin. All we had to do was talk to their painting contractor, pick a color and they did all the rest. The unit arrived perfectly & professionally painted in Acorn and we are thrilled with the look. The installation was flawless. Jeromie & Javi were awesome. Very professional, personable and kept us updated to their progress. It made all the difference to us that they had the mechanical & technical skills of trained union professionals. The unit has been running perfectly as advertised. It will save us time and money rather than relying completely on our wood stove every winter. We also look forward to the cooling aspect of the unit for the rare but sometimes brutal heat of Sonoma County summers. Thank you to everyone at Simpson Sheet Metal!

The second system had a power failure, and they deflected blame to my electrician, who eventually found a loose wire in Simpson's own equipment that caused the problem and cost $500 to diagnose. I advised Simpson it was their mistake, but they have not made an apology or response. Good job overall, but poor accountability and customer service. Today I repeated to John that my review was all true. I submitted the invoice to SCP for a SCP rebate. Simpson was not involved beyond giving me the invoice. John did not apologize for accusing my electrician for Simpson's faulty shutoff box. I was speaking calmly to John, but he hung up on me.

It became clear that our 1989 unit was on it's last legs. At my request, Seth created a quote for both a new furnace as well as central air conditioning. His prices were fair, and I agreed to his proposal. The first thing he did was to waive his $170 repair bill on the old unit; I knew right then that I was dealing with a man that had integrity, and that wanted long term customer satisfaction! Seth's team arrived, and worked diligently on all aspects of our project, including installing new Nest thermostats, helping to improve airflow , etc. They were professional, courteous, clean and thorough.
