He's been so accommodating to make time and has gotten me in on the same day multiple times as well. His prices are very fair, he's transparent about why he's doing what he's doing, and he's also very intentional about keeping your system going and not trying to sell you on a replacement or upgrade. In a world where things are getting more expensive, it's even more important to me to have experts who are able to keep things running! On top of his expertise and great business practices, Al is super nice and always very friendly -- I appreciate that he even remembered about elements of my life from when we'd talked multiple years prior to my latest service. 5 stars for sure! I thought they should be able to diagnose better than a guess. I called Crain and they were out to the house the next day. They plugged in a tester and informed me that it was the motor control module that was bad. The cost to repair was $1200.00 and the system was 18 years old. I elected to have a complete system (furnace and AC) installed. Crain was there the next day and did a complete install in one day. There was some miscommunication about Lennox financing but that issue falls to Lennox rather than Crain. Workers were prompt and courteous. They covered my basement carpet with a tarp and even covered my wood flooring steps with a tarp trying to be overly cautious of my home. I thought the tarp on the steps was dangerous for them but that's what they did. I don't believe the cost of the system was out of line. Prompt service, good pricing, courteous workers, steps taken to protect my home, and the install went smoothly. Not sure what more you could ask for. There is always someone who will find fault with some minuscule detail but they did a good job for me. The most important question, Would I recommend this company to you. Answer, Yes. I was pleased with their service and would like to use them in the future.
