burnt hoagie

although i did not have a great experience with the steak hoagies numerous times from the hamilton location of Richards pizza, i did however recently try their pizza with BBQ sauce and chicken and pineapple and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! and it is a MUST to try! this is the month of May 2023 so whoever made this pizza did an awesome job! kudos! employees were kind and helpful as well during ordering. restaurant was clean.

Very bad bowl.

So I frequent between 2 Richard's locations. I try to avoid this location. There seems to be the same problem at this location. And that is quality. Or LACK of it. Everytime my bread bowl salad is thin, hard and small. How do I know this because at the Fairfield location it is the opposite everytime. So be careful at this location. Check it before you leave. Customer service is ok. That is my 2 stars are for.

Hands down the BEST STEAK SANDWICH IN HAMILTON. Maybe even Ohio. The pizza is great too and don't forget to try the fudge

My steak hoagie tasted freezer burnt and my daughters pizza was lacking flavor. Disappointing because it's so close to my house.

Richard's is a Hamilton staple, but that doesn't mean its great. The pizza is greasy, salads tiny, and its pretty expensive.

Meh. It's pizza I guess. Don't get the desert brownie. It tasted like a tv dinner "brownie"…read more The pizza was fine but no Millilos from back in the day. Unfortunately, I think Hamilton is fresh out of great pizza. Service is fine and I would recommend patronizing a local business. I would say Dominoes is better that really sucks to say.

Ordered was quick and easy. There were a few guys working in there today and the kitchen is right…read morein front of you as you walk in. This is carry out only BTW. I placed my order and took a seat to wait. Being my first time here I ordered my "go to pizza" which is pepperoni and sausage. I also got a small Caesar salad. The pricing was good. My order came out in a fair amount of time. Now for the food review. The Caesar salad is nothing to write home about. Romaine lettuce with some croutons and Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. The salad dressing was in a packet on the side and wasn't all that great. It's a national brand but I didn't look at the name. The pizza looked good and at first bite I liked it and the pepperoni was crispy like I like it. The Italian sausage had a very good flavor which is probably the best part. The sauce didn't have the zing that I was hoping for. It was more like a sweet tomato sauce. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and have done so I have many other pizza places that I would rather go to. Would I go back? Probably not since it is take out only and it just didn't leave me wanting more.

Updating my review because I just had the dreamiest experience at Caruso's Ristorante and Bar. If I…read morehad a limited number of 10/5 star review reviews to hand out, they would get one. Myself, my husband, our 11 month old baby, and two of our sisters went out for dinner to celebrate mine and my babys birthdays, which are next week. We knew we needed a bit more space than usual since the baby's highchair and belongings take up some space, and the hostess and Manager were accommodating and kind as they offered us several different tables until we found one that worked, even though it was a Saturday night and they were booked with reservations. We ended up sitting in the enclosed back patio, which was nice and brighter than where we had sat before. Our server, Megan, introduced herself and was so kind and personable that we knew we were about to have great service. We started with bread service, because for $3.50 you get unlimited 16 bricks spread and whipped butter and olive oil. It comes out hot and is just really great bread. Last time I visited, I tried the mussels and I loved the saffron broth so much. I thought to myself that I would like to add some plain pasta to whatever broth was left. So this time, I ordered the muscles and I asked the server about getting plain noodles, and she said I wasn't the first person to request that, so the chef prepared the dish on top of a pile of their house made fettuccine noodles. It was really delicious with all of the fresh chopped garlic. My husband got the Cacio E Pepe and loved it. About 2/3 of the way through, he got full and said he should probably take it home, but it was too good to stop, so he ended up finishing every last bite. My sister got the chicken Parmesan with a side of Alfredo sauce. She loved it! We all tried the Alfredo sauce and agreed that while it is super rich, it was spot on. We all ended up dipping bread in it and adding some to our dishes. I think I will have to try the fettuccine Alfredo dish sometime. My other sister ordered the veggie pasta which comes with vegan noodles. The server made sure that she wanted the vegan noodles and not the regular, but my sister ended up swapping for the regular pasta since she has a pasta fanatic and knows they have really good housemaid pasta. She enjoyed her dish as well. Megan checked on us several times throughout the night and made pleasant conversation. She also complimented my baby for being super cute, which every mom wants to hear. We were honestly already having a great night when Megan offered to bring us bread to go and boxed up all of our leftovers for us. But then she took things up one more notch when she brought me and my baby birthday desserts because she heard me mention that I am breast-feeding and she is a mother too with a baby similar in age to mine, so she empathizes with how hard of a journey it is. My baby is turning one in a week, and his dad and I haven't given him sugar yet... Until tonight. Megan truly created the most magical moment for us to give him his first taste of a true sweet treat. We sang him happy birthday for the very first time and helped him blow out his first candle. It is no surprise that he absolutely loved the whipped cream we gave him. This was our first time celebrating our babies's birthday, and our nearly shared birthday, and Megan truly made it one to remember. Thanks for the core memory, Caruso's. We will be back.

I've been here many times in the past for dinner, but this was just a night out with a friend…read morehaving dessert and coffee. My friend had never been so she opted to try one of the pizzas. We also chose the bread service, which is a delicious sourdough from 16 Bricks served with olive oil and butter. We had a reservation and the wait was not long for a table. They were comfortably busy as you would expect for a Friday night. This is always a great place for a date night or out with friends or to celebrate something special. The one thing I appreciate is the consistency in the food. My favorite things on the menu are the Cacio E Pepe with blackened chicken, the lasagna, and the chicken Alfredo. Most places, I don't even go for chicken Alfredo because it's pretty basic, but they know what they're doing here. The Cacio E Pepe is by far my absolute favorite. And the blackened chicken just takes it to a different level. Although I chose carrot cake this time, my favorite dessert here is definitely the tiramisu. I love chatting with the servers and some have been there for a very long time. You're never treated like just another number. I will forever be a return customer even though it's a little bit of a drive for me.
