We ended up sitting in the enclosed back patio, which was nice and brighter than where we had sat before. Our server, Megan, introduced herself and was so kind and personable that we knew we were about to have great service. We started with bread service, because for $3.50 you get unlimited 16 bricks spread and whipped butter and olive oil. It comes out hot and is just really great bread. Last time I visited, I tried the mussels and I loved the saffron broth so much. I thought to myself that I would like to add some plain pasta to whatever broth was left. So this time, I ordered the muscles and I asked the server about getting plain noodles, and she said I wasn't the first person to request that, so the chef prepared the dish on top of a pile of their house made fettuccine noodles. It was really delicious with all of the fresh chopped garlic. My husband got the Cacio E Pepe and loved it. About 2/3 of the way through, he got full and said he should probably take it home, but it was too good to stop, so he ended up finishing every last bite. And the blackened chicken just takes it to a different level. Although I chose carrot cake this time, my favorite dessert here is definitely the tiramisu.
