The location is super cute and I love that it's attached to the library. It's situated in an area with several walkable businesses and feels very small town cutesy! There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The service was fine, very perfunctory, but not memorable. The coffee was overly strong and also quite sweet, not to my taste. The chocolate chip cookie was likewise sweet but not otherwise flavorful. I will try to come back and give the coffee another try, maybe a different flavor would be better.

I found this lovely cafe and decided to try it out one weekend morning. It was nice and cozy upon arrival and the welcome was very warm and light. Since we were new there we got a caramel macchiato with almond milk and a chai tea with almond milk. Both were very tasty, however the coffee was a little light for our preference. The veggie bagel sandwich was delicious. The toppings tasted fresh and the flavor is the bagel itself was very tasty. I'm very interested in trying this place out again and hopefully to dine inside this time since outside was too hot we took it to go. If you're in the area and want a nice coffee shop to grab a tea, coffee or cold drink, this is a great choice to try out for brunch or breakfast.

For sure a place come check out! If you're in Downtown Winter Haven, please check out this coffee shop they know what they are doing. The pistachio muffin was a OMG. The coffee amazing !! The staff were super nice and very outgoing , for sure took care of us . It is located next to library so if you looking for a good book just go on by next door ! A must must must!

I have been here a few times. The pastries are great and the coffee is amazing! The staff is super friendly and one of the girls helped me pick a flavor for my drink she mixed two! I was so happy as I was very indecisive on what I wanted.

The mold on the bagel from this coffee shop!!

They gave a blueberry bagel out with mold and said it was a blueberry, here is the proof it was also posted on Facebook! This needs to be shut down!

Good for those who love American pastries style, muffins, cakes, cupcakes... Coffee was ok. Server was nice, same as the environment.

    Pistachio muffin !

I like to try cute coffee shops whenever I travel and this one was a 10/10! Coffee was amazing and Pistachio Muffin was fireeeee. I went 3 days in a row and got the same thing.

Nice little coffee shop with fresh pastries, sandwiches and salads. The coffee is strong enough that I like it and the barista was extra attentive. They are decorated for the holidays so it's a perfect spot to grab a coffee while shopping downtown.

The breakfast sandwiches were good, the service was quick and efficient. The ambiance was nice and sitting outside while the flea market was going on is very nice.

My favorite coffee in Winter Haven. So much so I go out of my way to pick one. Though I'm not fond of their pastries (don't taste homemade) they also have a wonderful sandwich and salad menu. Beautiful views with outside seating, friendly staff, great chicken salad! Parking is interesting in that area at certain times of the day-I have no advice or solutions. But do enjoy their coffee!

We also got a strawberry cake donut, plain cake donut and blueberry cake donut. All three of them were fantastic. Probably the best donuts we've had in about 5 years, moist and flavorful! My son had a yeast donut (chocolate frosted with sprinkles) and my daughter had the donut holes again all of them were spectacular. The true of the star was the man behind the counter. He was so kind and caring. My son ate one of my daughter's donut holes and she was crying, he came from behind the counter and gave her a new one. 10/10 service. I wish I lived closer.

So far Donut Palace has earned the local area 5 star rating for donuts. Albeit they don't have a plethora of donuts to choose from, there was enough variety to satisfy any lover of donuts. The posted hours are until noon (12pm for those who are unfamiliar with the word - lol jk I think) and I arrived a little after 11am. The donuts I purchased were all still very fresh (2 thumbs up). We really liked the donuts, which included lemon and raspberry filled powdered, apple fritter, cinnamon roll, and a couple of glazed. The powdered, which were for me, were NOT overly sweet and the dough was fresh and soft, almost melting in my mouth. The wife enjoyed her apple fritter, which was on the small size, and cinnamon roll. The glazed were not overpowering sweet, like a Krispy Kreme (no thanks). There really are not many donuts shops in the area, besides numerous Dunkins which I was never fond of, so if I find one that bests this place I will review it and downgrade this one a star, but for the moment it's 5 stars and we will return. BTW, the lady running the place was very nice.

When you walk in, the place is quite empty. She has a few coolers to display her Cheesecake, but some a completely empty. Now the cheesecake does look good, but we came for the Coffee! We were in the area and found this. They have a variety of flavors to choose from and actually, she made a mean latte. I was quite impressed! I was a bit skeptical, due to how the placed looked on the inside but having a real espresso machine was a good 1st step. I had a vanilla latte which was delicious. Also the prices were fair, just over $5 for the latte. I wish i wasnt full and would have tried some cheesecake! Next time maybe...

New Place for us!…read more FAMILY COFFEE & DRINK ADVENTURE!!! Saw this place one night next to the Hibachi we always go to in Winter Haven, check out my review for Hibachi Express winter haven, Fl. Was super excited to bring my wife here the next day as it was her Birthday and she LOVES COFFEE!!! To keep it short It's a nice place, things are pricey, especially the Cheesecakes and it was just ok in comparison to other Winter Haven Coffee Hot spots - Haven anyone??? We were going to do coffee and cheesecakes for a Birthday Breakfast, but WOW, the cheesecakes were like 8 something a slice and they are small for the price. I don't care how good they are they are not a good Food to Value in my pockets opinion. We were there so we got drinks. 1 medium caramel macchiato for the Wife and it was very caramel sweet, not a good ratio in her opinion. We ordered a cappuccino, quad shot espresso, that I was charged for 2 espressos for instead of 1$ per extra shot like most other places. 2 Teas and it was over 30$. All the drinks could have been better. None of us really enjoyed them. Got the Fam some cake pops for 2.25 each everyone said they liked them. The service was good, only 1 kid working by themselves and it did take time for the drinks to be made. Luckily no one else was there so he was able to focus solely on our order. They were also out of a few different drinks the girls wanted first, so they had to choose a tea that was not really the best. My little one had the frozen hot cocoa and they enjoyed it. All in all we would most likely only stop back for coffee if we were in the area. It is a Sunday and we want coffee out, but not good enough to drive past our go to's for coffee on the other 6 days. Cheesecakes looked good, but for the price of 3 slices. I can buy a whole cheesecake and add my own toppings. AS ALWAYS, TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

The nice staff man at the counter asked me how I liked my coffee and I told him and he just put something together. I also ordered the almond croissant. The coffee was delicious with almost a floral note to it. Seemed very appropriate for this place. The croissant was super flaky and filled with a delicious almond crème. Absolutely delicious. My friends both ordered the guava and cheese pastry but said you really have to love guava if you want that because there's a lot of filling. We can't wait to go back. I will say because they are located on the side of the busy road the outside can be kind of loud. But the inside only has tables for two. So keep that in mind!

The other reason we come here is , they use organic flour and milk, everything is quality and baked daily in house and the delicious flavors shows it.
