Great addition to Auburndale! Expanded space compared to WHaven store (that one is nicer outside). This one has expanded pastry options, too. Good coffee (not my favorite) and great start to your day. Service was quick and happy. Parking is nearby unless you're there at lunch hour, it's pretty competitive then.

Reindeer croissant I purchased. This can easily be shared with 2-3 people, it was huge!

We both got one of the seasonal caramel drinks (old man Marley?). I got the hot and she got the cold. The hot was decent, no real complaint but I'd go elsewhere honestly. My wife got the cold version and something about it was off, especially towards the bottom it had like a bologna or something taste. She told me to taste it without telling me what she thought but we both came to the same conclusion. No clue what it could've been but it was awful. Personally I'd go to a big brand store over this one again. Inside was pretty tight too, especially for those in a wheelchair or have a stroller.

The service was mid, as the barista seemed bored and not overly friendly. We tried to ask a question about the surrounding area and our barista acted like she didn't understand what we were asking, whatever. The coffee was good, although the roast was much brighter than my preference. The double chocolate chip muffin was delicious and not overly sweet overall, I would definitely come back and try it again! There is limited seating inside but also seating available outside street parking is limited so if you don't like dealing with that, this may not be the place for you.

This place has the best tea I've EVER had, it is second to NONE. I've tried many times to replicate…read moretheir tea, but they must have magic water, because even with Tabitha's recipe it's just not the same. Their menu changes seasonally and each seasonal special is always scrumptious. The menu staples that you must try: cheesy chicken crunch, any daily tea, smoked gouda pumpkin dip, windsors, broccoli salad, and the heavenly scones that come with Devonshire cream on the side. The scones come complimentary with your meal, but our family enjoys them so much we call ahead to warn them we're coming and order extras. It doesn't matter what flavor scone they're serving, they are all delicious; cooked perfectly, soft and crisp at the same time. I've yet to find any place with scones that can replicate or out do these, and since this place is over 1300 miles from my home, believe me I've tried. The scones here are so delicious that we even had them served at our wedding. Along with the daily tea they also offer a daily soup and daily quiche. This is one of the few places I've ever been where I've always been satisfied with whatever is coming out of the kitchen. They also offer dessert, but between appetizers, our meal and the many scones we have, there is hardly ever enough room left for dessert. Beyond the amazing food, this place gives back to their community. They participate in many of the local events, and promote the city. They host special events such as tea with the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, and Mrs. Clause, and these events have been major memory making events in the childhoods of our family. We love any event they're hosting. When our father was going through cancer treatments and couldn't make it to join us, as he usually would, they sent us home with a goodie bag with well wishes written on it for him. They are truly good people that value the relationships they build with their customers. We as customers were just as emotional as one of the servers when they were leaving to retire, which is just one example of the bonds built here. While this is a tea room and fully supports any fancy tea attire, you can also come as you are, they're happy to see you either way. They also have many hats through out the tea room that can be worn or used while there. In addition to food, they also have a retail area and various retail items throughout the tea rooms within the building. My favorite time to shop here is Christmas time because they have the cutest aprons which are perfect for making Christmas cookies with the family. They also sell the tea that they make, pre made or just the tea itself (loose leaf or in bags), they're not gatekeeping, they want to share the goodness. If you want to enjoy the Florida weather, you can opt to dine outside on the front porch. No matter which spot you choose to take it all in, you won't be disappointed. We come home to this area nearly 3-4 times a year and we never come back without making sure we visit this tea room. My only warning is that the neighbors next door aren't cool and they won't share the obviously available parking, so make sure to pay attention to the posted parking signage when choosing your spot. We also recommend a reservation if you plan to come with a larger party since the different tea rooms can limit where you can be seated, based on availability. I hope you'll love this place as much as

Across from South Central Park and next to the Winter Haven Library resides Richard's Fine Coffees…read more For over 25 years Richard's Fine Coffee's has been supplying downtown Winter Haven with caffeinated beverages and food. David Tuttle opened Richard's Fine Coffee's on June 11, 1996. Upon realizing that there were no independent coffee house in Winter Haven, he wanted to bring residents and visitors a new coffee drinking experience. Richard's originally operated out of the Arcade Building before moving to the new Winter Haven Public Library when it opened its new building in 2005. In the ensuing years Richard's Fine Coffee's has become a cornerstone to the revitalization of downtown. One of the keys to Richard's longevity has been providing a place where people can meet, relax, and enjoy delicious coffee and bites. On the first Friday of every month they have a live music event. They serve a daily breakfast and lunch menu that includes hot and cold coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, soup, and pastries. I popped in for caffeinated refreshment during a recent trip to Winter Haven. I like how you can enjoy your drinks and food in their large dining room, on the patio, or across the street in beautiful South Central Park. Richard's has become more than a place where you can eat and drink. It is an important part of bringing the community together in downtown Winter Haven.

I ordered a regular coffee with cream. The better half ordered a Latte. We also ordered a blueberry crumb cake to split. There was quite a variety of wonderful looking pastries to choose from. The crumb cake was also delicious. Staff was friendly and the interior design relaxing. We'll be back .

Everything is fresh and feels like prepared with love. They have all kind of breakfast option from sandwiches to croissant, rolls, buns.. amazing and delicious.. My favorite is the almond croissant but the choccolate one is also very good, we like their hot chocolate and cappuccino as well. The other reason we come here is , they use organic flour and milk, everything is quality and baked daily in house and the delicious flavors shows it.

I am bummed they are closed on Monday, as I only work in the area M/F but I did finally get the chance to pop by on Friday before noon and they were already sold out of their plan sourdough loaves! Not sure if the AC was broken but it was a bit warm inside-all the ACs in Florida struggle in the summer though, and there is also some shaded outdoor seating. I helped myself to a spinach and onion croissant and a breakfast cookie and promptly ate both. The cookie was chewy and hearty and delicious! The croissant filling was delicious, and I ate half of it cold, it was so tasty but warmed up it was even better. I haven't had a chance to try the coffee yet but looking forward to it, maybe next Friday morning if I'm lucky!
