The restaurant is very nice on the inside and there's plenty of seating. We had a romantic curved booth facing the other tables that were centered in the middle of the restaurant. The food was surprisingly tasty, but the sides were so good that I would have been satisfied just eating the sides--they were extremely delicious. The waitstaff did a great job and was attentive. We will definitely come back and would highly recommend.

Dinner was a ribeye cooked medium-rare with asparagus, and it was exactly what a good steak should be: perfectly cooked, with great flavor, and served hot. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. I followed that with their lemon icebox dessert and a lemon drop, both excellent, and finished the evening with a Four Roses Small Batch Select for a nightcap. What really sets J Wilson's apart is the staff's consistency and professionalism. The bartenders, servers, and kitchen team all seem to work together smoothly and take pride in the experience they deliver. Even on a busy night, with spring break crowds and daylight saving time throwing schedules off, the service remained attentive, and the food came out exactly right. The Chicken Fried Steak was perfect. About six months ago, everything started to decline. The service has gone from bad to terrible. Today I had to remind the waiter that I had ordered a salad.
