They rebuilt a section of our garage along with the roof (subcontractor) and deck. John managed the whole process and solicited several bids from roofers (who many times didn't show) to make sure we got the best price and quality. He managed to do this in a tight timeline as the weather was getting cold and he carefully explained our options and pricing along the way. He went out of his way to save us money when possible and pushed for quality when it was the right thing to do. He was fair and knowledgeable, and saved us a lot of headache! Some of the other builders out there really didn't know what they were doing and accidentally caused damage just taking a look at our problem. Bayer Builders on the other hand were very professional and capable. If you need good honest builders who won't give you an upsell, choose these guys.

Highly recommend Bayer Builders! They completely rebuilt my front porch and exceeded my…read moreexpectation. They removed all the crumbling concrete steps, porch pad, rotted wood supports and frail metal railings. They were able to reenforced the existing brick base and ceiling supports, reducing my costs. They framed, and rebuilt with cedar beams/ railings and finished with a beautiful, durable composite wood flooring. The detail of the craftsmanship on the custom cedar railings and posts are amazing. Demo and rebuild were completed in the estimate that was given of 3 weeks. I showed John a picture of how I wanted it, and he and his team did the rest! Seamless from beginning to end. Bayer Builders dealt with all the permitting and inspections and helped me pick out materials (offering low- and high-end pricing). They consulted with me throughout the project, with very little effort on my part to get this massive project completed. I have to say that I am highly impressed with the skill, attention to detail, and excellent work ethics that the crew demonstrated. These trades seem to be a dying breed and John has secured the finest of them! I look forward to enjoying my porch for many years to come and hope to work with them again. Thank you so much Bayer Builders!!

I will be going back when I redecorate my kitchen and my bathroom. The store sells bathroom cabinets, flooring, kitchen cabinets and tiles. I was looking to replace my dated damaged laminate floors in my condo in June 2019. Patricia Forman helped me pick out some gorgeous luxury vinyl tile. She explained to me that this would be a good choice for me because I own a small puppy dog and it is considered a very low maintenance material that is water resistant!!!!! Basically the material looks just like wood but it is "commercial grade". They have commercial grade lvt which is more resistant to scratches than regular lvt that you see in other stores. This actually works very well for my lifestyle and is cost-effective and beautiful. Patricia provided me with some floor samples that I could take home and think about. Then in June I purchased the tile. She suggested an amazing team that came and completed the project to perfection in several days. I absolutely love my new floors!!!!!

This company deserves zero stars and I wouldn't recommend anyone use Porcelanosa for kitchen…read morecountertops. The whole experience and customer service have been atrocious. Especially for the cost ($16K) for kitchen countertops. The product isn't what they advertised (defective). I wish I would have known this information before I chose to go with this company. After many months of delay (4 months), the countertops were finally installed and one of the pieces was broken/cracked during the first installation. Although this product is advertised as being "indestructible" that is definitely not the case. So I had to wait two weeks for them to re-fabricate the piece. Leaving no accessible kitchen for 2 weeks. Then instead of fabricating the piece, they decided to cut corners and add a seam, which is very unsightly. Which was unauthorized and a breach of contract. The defective countertops also need brackets now because of this. Porcelanosa doesn't stand by their work and hasn't offered to repair or fix any of this either. The countertops also contained multiple scratches from installation and the use of a razor blade. The overall product does not look like the showroom quality that you see and I have attached pictures. The customer service by Porcelanosa has been slow to react, rude, and not acceptable for anyone to deal with. Especially for a company that states they are a luxury brand. This whole experience has been anything, but a luxury experience. It's been a disaster. I am still waiting on them to resolve this issue, but I am not holding my breath. I just don't want anyone else to suffer through the nightmare I have experienced.

American Crawlspace & Basement was the first company to respond and come out for an estimate. Jim O'Donnell was very direct, explained what needed to be done, and explained ways I could save money on the job. By the time the other estimates came in, American Crawlspace's estimate was almost $1800 less than the next lowest bid. There was a slight delay involving obtaining a permit, but it only delayed the work by a few days, and throughout the process Keith and Gena kept in contact and were very responsive. On the day of the job, I met with their crew leader first and he told me what to expect. They dug out the concrete floor around the inside perimeter of my basement, installed drain tile and drainage board all the way around, installed a sump pump, and then re-poured 4" of concrete all the way around. The work was done in one day, and passed inspection no problem. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with basement water problems.

Didn't think too much about the garage floor until early last spring when I noticed all the dried salt and dirt from the winter season. Figured I'd save a few bucks and use one of those DIYselfers kits from the home center,--"What a mistake"! I'm such an idiot! Swept it out, scraped some old drywall mud out of the corner and washed the floor. Mixed the 2-parts together, painted it on and sprinkled those little green and white flakes on it - It looked great! About 2 months later I start to see one little area by the door start coming off, then another and then another..... pretty soon it looked like my floor had leprosy. After doing some research online it says that I'm supposed to Diamond Grind- What the heck is that? Long story short -I'm not getting anywhere fast and my folks are coming in from Florida next month.. Now the race is on........! I find a handful of epoxy companies on line and start my plunge into the world of coating knowledge, I tell you - there is a lot to learn! I enter my email into a few sites and call a couple of companies, these guys must really be busy cause I only got 3 responses out of the 7, I went for initially. All three sales guys seemed knowledgeable about floor painting but the guy at Garage Floor Coating really stuck out. He took the time to explain the different types of concrete situations with moisture and effervescent problems- the powdery white stuff that grows on concrete. He also said not all coating systems are the same. I had a friend that had a floor done about 5 yrs ago and the doorway turned an ugly yellowish color To my understanding that is from not having UV protected materials. The salesguy came out and took measurements and brought some pretty cool-lookin samples with. All their colors were "earth-tones" that matched with just about everything I had. He was able to schedule me in a week. The guys came out a week later and were extremely professional, they taped off the inside door going into the house and all their machines were hooked up to these giant vacuum cleaners. They started one day and were done by the middle of the next day. They did suggest to stay off of it for a few days after the top coat went down, which wasn't so bad, as this was the best my floor had ever looked. Somedays I still don't want to park on it! My overall experience with Garage Floor Coating was excellent from the start of the process with the salesguy to the installation team, to the follow up afterwards. I recommend this company to friends neighbors and anyone who doesn't want to go through all of the hassles like I did trying to do it myself. * Best of all- my parents think I'm pretty smart for calling in such a good company.
