Outside wall and siding repair, all inside damaged interior from accident. The damage from truck took out all bathroom plumbing from all floors which was repaired by a different company. Tom subcontracted a painting company that was absolutely horrific. The worst paint job ever. Tom apologized over and over again and said if they only took time to prep... He insured me that he would fix the painting and caulking. Tom was also informed and sent a photo of a part of the siding that was not repaired around window frame. Tom came out and looked and stated he would send the siding guys out to fix what they Missed. Well, Covid Hit and of course I now had to wait for Tom to repair what need to be repaired and fix and the cracked tile in one of the bathrooms. He had now already been paid by insurance company before repairing what need to be repaired by the painters and siding guys. I did not worry as I had no doubt he would complete the job. I would send Tom Text Messages to schedule the completion of the job. He would come out look what needed to be fixed and completed. Tom would then say he would be back out in a few days to fix and complete job. Never happened!There was always a reason he couldn't come out. A death, a wedding etc. I still did not worry as I always trusted he would get the job done. Now it's May 2021. I sent Tom a text again as I had not heard from him in a while. Tom responded in a text message with a photo of himself with a mask on his face stating he was in the hospital sick. I told him no worries. After a couple months I text Tom again Aug 2021. Tom responded he was not back to work, but would be back next month. Text Tom September 2021 and related he would be out to my house. Tom finally came out. Looked over painting snd now said he was not going to repair the paint job. I was beside myself! He was not the same person I had been dealing with. He no longer could look at me and was looking at the ground as he spoke to me. He said to me, "Do you remember I gave you a $1000.00 back for the bad paint job!" I said, You did not! Why are you saying that! He then measured the tile in bathroom and said he would be out in a couple days. Tom further related he was not going to repair the siding that was missed. I was so shocked and almost in tears as this was not the person I had originally been dealing with. Couple weeks go by and Tom has yet to repair anything. Tom returns after multiple text messages to him. Measures the tile again and said he would be in contact with me. Guess what it's Nov 06 2021 and nothing has been completed. He has now blocked my phone number and is not answering text messages or email! This guy who I thought was and upstanding person turned out to be a scammer and a liar!!! I'm sure I'm not the only person he has done this to. For someone to intentionally do something like this is EVIL!! KARMA WILL FIND HIM!!!! Here is a few text from this year. Wound up stumbling into Fox Home Center while checking out different places. Honestly, Fox Home Center is probably not the best place to go if you are looking for the cheapest option. But, if you want quality items and, at least from what I experienced, a near "one stop shop" with good customer service, I would recommend Fox Home Center. Mark was great to work with. He answered all my questions and was honest with me. The vanity I originally wanted, he explained, would not arrive in time for our project. So, he helped me find a great alternative. We wound up buying a "display" mirror for a significant discount and we love it. Mark made sure the display was not damaged (a real challenge as this was a big mirror) with shipping. Something that made me trust Mark- to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off, on my own, I went to manufacturer (Moen) website. Turns out Mark was offering me the Moen "sale price", the lowest price that Moen would give if you worked with them directly. That made me feel pretty good, as I had not even asked Mark to give me a discount. When I asked to ship all this stuff to my house, there was no problem or fee. He kept it all together for me at the store as each time arrived, making it easy to keep it together. All items arrived and installed as described. To really top off the good customer service - the Toliet we ordered wouldn't fit (not Mark fault, because Contractors didn't measure until end of project). But, Mark took the Toliet back without hesitation and gave me a full refund. I plan on purchasing from them again in the future, and I am happy to support a local business.
