    After

We reached out to have our kitchen cabinets painted. Erik was wonderful and came out shortly after to give us an estimate. He communicated well with us the entire process. The entire team is professional and they work hard. Our cabinets look wonderful and we are very happy with the final product. The cost was reasonable as well. I would highly recommend working with Armorwood. Also, the tile person they had do our backsplash was amazing and did an excellent job.

I am very impressed with the quality of work. They are professional and respectful of your time. I absolutely love my cabinets.

So perfect, you can't see a seam?…read more Five stars is not enough! A friend referred me to this local countertop shop. I had lived with new marble top installed by previous homeowner in my kitchen since I moved in 8 years ago. But.. the pattern was very busy, never had a nice sheen, and when I placed a clear drinking glass on it, you easily missed it? (You can't miss it in one of the pictures below.) First visit was to their Batavia facility to take home samples and discuss approximate costs with a very knowledgeable and personable staff. Second visit was to my home to measure. Third was at their site with templates of my layout on the actual slab so I could see the grain and seam alignment as it would appear in finished countertop. This was fantastic because as much as I loved the pattern I had selected, I did not like the way it would appear completed. With NO pressure at all, I was encouraged to choose from similar patterns on their many other slabs of quartz so I could get the look I wanted. Templates were placed on another choice and the veins looked like they would match close at the seam. Three professionals arrived promptly at 8am and departed at 11am (perfectly as promised) and the finished job was more than I ever imagined. I had to really search for the seam but could only feel it as it is perfect... can you find it in the picture? (HINT: blue post-its align on seam in second image.)

We hired Synergy Builders to do a major renovation and remodeling project on our home. The project…read moreincluded a kitchen remodel, 3-season room addition, new deck, upstairs laundry room, and many changes to the master suite and bathroom. Synergy managed the entire process from design through construction with professionalism and efficiency. They were a pleasure to work with through all phases of the project. The project manager was frequently on-site, often daily during the construction phase and always available if I had a question or concern. We lived in the house throughout the project and Synergy made every effort to make the house as livable as possible despite the construction that was going on around us. They were clean, neat, responsive and respectful. The quality of both the design and construction is top notch. My house is beautiful - I have received many compliments. I love my new kitchen, 3-season room and master suite. If you are looking for a company to help with your remodel project large or small, I strongly recommend contacting Synergy.

We had high hopes for Synergy Builders, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing,…read moreprimarily because of their design process. There was very little true consultation, conversation, or collaboration regarding the design. We came in expecting a team that would listen to our ideas and help create a kitchen tailored to our family's needs. Instead, it often felt like we were being pushed through a predetermined process rather than participating in a collaborative one. We paid $2,500 for design drawings that ultimately felt mediocre and lacked creativity or individuality. To make matters worse, after the drawings were completed, a trades group came out and determined that parts of the proposed design were not even feasible. That was incredibly frustrating after investing both time and money. Before we even had a finalized, workable design, we were being asked to select appliances, countertops, finishes, and other materials. It made no sense to make expensive product decisions when the layout itself was still unresolved. Budget was another major issue. We were very clear about our budget from the beginning, yet the proposal came back dramatically over what we had discussed. Rather than designing within our financial goals, it felt as though our budget was treated as an afterthought. Overall, the design lacked originality, the communication felt one-sided, and the process left us feeling unheard. For the premium price Synergy charges, we expected a collaborative design experience that balanced creativity, practicality, and budget. Instead, we received a process that felt rigid and disconnected from our needs. Based on our experience, I would encourage anyone considering Synergy Builders to carefully evaluate their design process before committing. There are companies that provide far more collaborative planning, more thoughtful designs, and better value for your investment.

okay, I'll update here since they finally installed the small granite piece for my stove backsplash…read moreand accommodated my request for first thing in the am. The 3 guys who arrived called ahead 20 min, and were super careful to measure thrice and keep measuring and using a level as the piece dried. I felt very confident watching their concern to get the piece on the backsplash in an attractive and straight manner. They could not have been more professional. I'll say it once and say it again: when you deal with the salespeople at The Granite Corporation (that's their real name not "Granite") you kind of doubt that they have a clue about what they're selling. I don't know what will happen and it takes too long for them to finish up a sale, even though they mean well. However, when the measure & install team shows up, those are the people who really know what they're doing. They are top pros. I asked Sam, my sales person, how are they going to make sure the glue holds on a vertical application, and she did not know. I asked her if I should cover my stove, and she said, don't worry (of course, I did). When they showed up, they scored the back of both my backsplash and the new piece, so more glue would be applied. They applied glue all around the perimeter (not visable). They taped the piece in place and I put a spongy rug on my stove (just in case). They said, glue sets in 10 minutes and they held it that long, and it is good to go in a couple hours when I can take off tape. I would have liked to know that there would be a little granite dust in my kitchen ahead of time, to have removed everything from countertops, but they did hold up a vacuum while they scored my backsplash, so I cannot say that I see any dust (besides my own). They scored the new piece outside my house. The treasure here is the cutting, measuring & install team. They are premium craftsmen, very experienced and know how to communicate with the public. They're the ones who should be selling the granite!
