Hello and huge thanks to Suarez Fence! I want to share my experience in both English and Spanish. Our family recently had Suarez Fence Co replace the fence at our home in Norwood Park, Chicago, and we're extremely happy with how everything turned out. The new fence looks fantastic, and several of our neighbors have already commented on how much they like it. Before choosing Suarez Fence Co, we received estimates from other companies that were significantly higher while offering lower-quality materials. Suarez not only provided a much better overall value, but they also had the largest selection of styles and materials to choose from. They took the time to show us photos of other projects they had completed, which was very helpful in deciding exactly what we wanted. The Suarez team was great to work with throughout the project and offered several useful ideas that made the finished job even better. They suggested improvements for drainage that worked out great, and they also recommended adding material underneath the fence to help prevent weeds from growing back. They finished the area beneath the fence with decorative stones, which looks great and should make maintenance much easier. They also did a fantastic job removing the old fence along with all of the overgrown weeds and vegetation that had built up around it. What impressed us just as much as the finished fence was how clean they left everything when the job was completed. The entire area was cleaned up extremely well, and you could tell they took pride in their work from start to finish. Overall, we're very happy with the quality of the materials, the workmanship, the selection they offered, and the overall value. Suarez Fence Co gave us a better-quality result than other companies we spoke with at a much more reasonable price. We would definitely recommend them to anyone in Chicago looking for a new fence.

Suarez Fence handled our front yard landscaping and installed a metal fence to protect the native plants we added after removing the grass, and the results are fantastic. They transformed our front yard with thoughtful native plant landscaping that really fits our NW side Chicago neighborhood, and the new fence creates just enough separation while still feeling open and welcoming. We've already had multiple neighbors tell us how much they love the new landscaping and fence design. For anyone in Chicago looking for a local fence company that also understands front yard landscaping and native plants, Suarez Fence is an excellent choice. read more

The team of Suarez Fence were very helpful. They originally installed our fence about four years ago. Recently, we had an issue with our gate and the bracing broke and came loose. I contacted Luis who scheduled someone to come and fix it. I am so pleased, it's like we have a new gate. Thank you. read more

Did not show up to two appointments, I called Carlos after waiting 30+ minutes after the initial appointment and he said he was on his way and he never showed up. I ended up asking someone else to wait for him, but he never showed after waiting about 5 hours, not even a call to say he wasn't going to make it. The next day, he was a no show at the 2nd appointment which I was not surprised since he missed the first one. A courtesy call apologizing for not being able to make it is all that's needed, most of us understand things come up but when you waste peoples time, it only shows you're a poor businessman. read more

I changed the appointment initially and the appointment we changed was the one you didn't make. I wrote to you afterward and you didn't respond to me until I wrote a post about my experience with your company. read more

Did not contact me for a quote. They requested my information and never got back to me.

They did an excellent job repairing two fence posts. They were affordable, quick, courteous, and came when they said they would. I would hire them again without question. read more

I did some research and contacted Suarez fence through yelp, response was given on the same day and set up a estimate. Luis came out and gave me an estimate of $3886 for 140 feet of red cedar and tearing down and hauling the old fence. I decided to go with them signing the contract on a Friday and the showed up to work that following Tuesday. The whole job took 4 days, 1 day to set all posts, 2 days dry time , and 1 day to put the panels up. I was pleased with the quality and efficiency. I highly recommend Suarez fence. read more

Installed a fence for us spring 2021, fence was falling apart and wobbling spring 2022, when contacted to fix it they said we would have to pay. Literally screws had fallen out of the fence and we're laying on the ground. Terrible job and didn't not offer or agree to repair the poor work. Hired someone else for repair. read more

I was very happy with the work they did. Their cost was within the range I expected. However, I was a bit confused when the salesman and another worker from a competing company showed up to do the work. I contacted the owners and they told me that when times are busy they will occasionally use other companies workers. Bottom line is the work was completed and done well. read more

We have nothing but great things to say about Suarez Fence! They were prompt, communicative, and fairly priced. Even my locksmith was impressed with their work! I will definitely recommend them in the future. read more

Carlos and his crew did a great job installing our new Gate and Mailbox post. The cedar looks great. We were happy that they were able to do a more contemporary style that we asked for. A good tip to make process faster: Make sure they are registered with your Village before you pick up the building permit. Also, in our town, the inspector had to come out 2 times. Once to inspect post holes and once the job was complete. What could have taken one day to do ended up being 2 weeks but nothing you can do about that. We do recommend them. I took one star off because the communication could have been a little better. We asked for 30min call before they arrived to do the work so we can leave work to meet them and that did not happen, but overall Good Job. read more

We hired Suarez Fence in June to install a 6 ft. vinyl fence around our back yard and we're very happy with results. The interaction I had with Carlos was great, too. When La Grange village zoning denied our permit for 6 ft. around the side of our house, we had to seek a variance, which took over 2.5 months of delay. Carlos was very patient until the village permitted building. Once given the green light, Carlos' crew (which includes his father) had the fence completed within a week. The final product looks fantastic. His price for vinyl was nearly the equivalent for a cedar fence quoted by another reputed company. The quality of vinyl seems better than other company's samples too, so we're confident this will be maintenance-free for decades. I highly recommend Suarez. read more

This company would not meet any commitments to even show up to confirm the quote they gave me. Completely ignoring when they said they would show up. Not returning calls. They even misplaced my quote and after I sent it to them they STILL had to ask for my address which was ON THE QUOTE! I'm not about to give thousands of dollars to a company that is this unprofessional. Good luck if you decide to use them. read more

Suarez fence did a great job installing our new fence. They even made sure all the corners and connections to other fences were secure and completely dog-proof. Would definitely recommend. read more

If you are in need of a new fence, give Suarez Fence a call! We enjoyed working with a small family business that was knowledgeable, professional, and affordable. From the initial quote to the completion of the project, Carlos made himself available (even after business hours!) The crew completed our fence lighting fast and did a fantastic job cleaning up our yard afterwards (which is so unlike other companies that leave your yard a complete mess after a project). We appreciated the top notch customer service and know we will enjoy our new privacy fence for years to come (as they made it built to last the harsh Chicago winter months!) A big thanks to the Carlos Fence crew for all of the hard work! read more

I was completely satisfied with the job from Suarez Fence. Carlos came to my house to do the estimate and he was a very professional guy, ongoing, and very friendly - he gave me the estimate the same day! About a week later, his crew arrived and they finished the job (about 100 ft long 4ft fence) in just under 6 hrs. I was impressed! Way to go guys! I definitely recommend these guys!!! He made my pug very happy that he had a play date with my neighbor's dogs right away. Thank you very much Carlos! read more

Carlos came right out for a free estimate , very quick and clear communication. Estimate price was honored. Workers came and went unannounced to drop off and pick up materials throughout the course of the project , which wasn't a problem for us. I would recommend this company. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Suarez Fence! Carlos came out to provide an estimate and he was able to provide a detailed quote on the spot. The costs and timing made it an easy choice. We had a wonderful experience with Suarez Fence. We wanted to get a fence first thing after moving in, and Carlos met us at the house right after closing to take final measurements and get our survey. He had already called Julie for the locate marks, so he everything was set to go. He took the survey directly to the city to get the permit, and he started work just a few days later as promised. The guys worked all day and well into the night, and they finished our whole fence in about a week from our closing. They even took care to put wood by the gap by our house so that our dog wouldn't be able to get out. Carlos advised us on where to put our gate, as well, to minimize space for our dog to escape. They truly thought of everything. They did beautiful work, and the fence looks amazing! They are very responsive if you ask questions, as well. We could not be happier with them and will be recommending them in the future to all our friends and family! read more

I just bought a new house and needed to completely close off my yard because I have a dog. About 3/4 were already enclosed and I had about 45 feet left and a gate that needed to be installed. I called around using Home Advisor to about 5 different places and Carlos was the one to come out the quickest, give me the fairest price, and get started ASAP. I'm so happy I decided to go with him and his guys. He was very up front and professional and the price was very fair. They were able to come out within a week and completed the job in one day! All other companies were saying they were multiple weeks and sometimes months (!) out. I'm very happy with my experience. read more

Carlos was very responsive with the quote, negotiations, finding the day to proceed and afterwards. Fence came out very nice. What jerks. Made appointment for today. Took off work without pay to be there between 11:00-12:00. Guy called at 12:05 to say he couldn't make it! Really? You knew at 11:00, 11:30, 11:45 that you weren't going to make it. You wait till 12:05 to call me? No respect for anyone's time. read more

We contacted Suarez Fence based on the Yelp reviews we saw and they all ended up to be true. We got an estimate over the phone the same day, then they came out the next week to see it in person and offer us some upgrade options if we wanted to do anything beyond the basic options. We scheduled an install day a week out from there. They didn't show up on the day they promised to come out because they got delayed by some rain. I would have appreciated a call or text to let us know that (we didn't find out until I emailed them asking what was going on and they replied that evening). If we didn't work from home and had taken the day off to be there I may have been more upset. Anyway - they promised to be there the next Tuesday and were here and installing on time. The fence looks great and was exactly what we were hoping for. They finished it in one day which was wonderful! Only thing I wish we had known is that you are in charge of the clean up. The works left quite a mess of big mud chunks tracked all over our yard that we had to go pick up and get out of the yard so not to ruin the sod. And any piles of dirt/mud left from where they put in posts are yours to take care of as well. Just a heads up on that since we were not prepared for the mess after! Otherwise we were very happy with everything and their responsiveness, pricing, and promptness. Would recommend! read more
