They took care of the whole process from towing the car to informing when it was done. This seriously is the worst auto shop ever. I personally don't like to write one star reviews, but…read morethese people deserve negative 5 stars. They bamboozle you from the start by telling you they care to help you and will give you nothing but their "honesty" and "trustworthy work". Its all crap. They don't know what they're doing at all, or at least care. The owner is a con man. So I had overheating issues with my car. Came here because this was one of the few shops around my area that "specialize" with overheating issues. I figured they were to say I needed a head gasket replacement, since it's auto shops biggest money maker. No surprise, they did. Paid them $1500 up front. They told me it'll be ready within 3-5 days. I thought good deal! Held on to my car for over two weeks saying it still needed work on the head gasket. On week 3, Three straight days I drove by to see if my car was being worked on, I see that my freaking car was parked on Broadway, a block away, all day and night. I seriously couldn't believe it, so I called him out on it. I call to tell him WTF, he lies right to me on the phone saying it's being worked on while I'm literally staring at my car on the curb a block away. Unless it's possible that it was another 04 grey civic with the same license plate number, I call BFS. I call for my money back. He swears it'll be fixed by the next day, which had me feeling sketchy. Next day, I get my car and it's running with no overheating issues..... until the next freaking day. I took it to another shop, and it turns out these assholes never replaced the head gasket, and put in head gasket sealant!!!! Holy #%#%!!! 1500 bucks for sealant!!! I call him out on it, and of course lies coming right out of his mouth. Couldn't even be a man about it and admit fault. I swear this shop should be called Trump Ortega's auto shop. After 8 days of disputing with my credit card company , I was finally able to get my refund. So adding up the total amount of time dealing with this shop, I was without a car for almost 5 weeks. Thank you Ortega's for giving me nothing but time wasted and a severe headache. To my fellow Chula Vista residents, I mean it when I say, don't trust this shop.

Its taken me a little time to post my opinion because I wanted to take some time away from my horrible experience and let my feelings settle. It's been longer then a month and I still feel like he stole money from me. I had to find another mechanic and spent another $1200 to fix the stuff he messed up. I paid $4000 dollars to him for some basic repairs on my 1966 Cadillac. My car worked before I brought it to him. My intent was to double down on the cars reliability. I wanted to update anything he could see causing issues in the future. Especially before it got painted. This was the wrong move on my part. His attention to detail is way below par. I feel like I did business with someone learning on the job. I still can't believe he runs a business like this. Everything he touched, he left his mark on and then some. My brake lights still don't work. My windshield wipers that did work, don't work now. My high beam dash light won't turn off. He fried electrical stuff. He didn't space the distributor right and it failed the day I picked it up the first time. I have to turn my headlights on just to start my car. He changed out the front end (tire rod ends, upper and lower control arm bushing) and didn't even take the time to align the car before he sent me on down the road in it. Keep in mind all this stuff was fine before he touched it. He was just updating things before they became an issue. It took him 60+ days to perform 20 hours worth of work all said and done with. I'm going to give it another month and if I still feel the way I do today I will be reporting him to the bureau of automotive repair because I feel so taken advantage of. Don't risk it with him. Do your homework.
