I've had 2 wisdom teeth removed prior to this experience. Everything went well, could eat in less…read morethan 2 days, no numbness or dry socket. This experience was completely different. I was uncomfortable from the second I walked through the patient door. The patience chairs back in the rooms are like from a 1950's horror film. Once I was seated, I sat there for around 20 minutes waiting. There was an exit door in my room & the employees kept going in and out of it. Like I wasn't even there. Then I'm finally getting hooked up to my IV, and they put this death mask on me and left it for over 20 more minutes. They said it was laughing gas, but I was already being put down via IV. The "laughing gas" made me so nauseous and weird feeling. Like I had no control and couldn't move. I was helpless and freaking out. After the surgery, they didn't wait for me to wake up. They handed me off to my husband, not conscious. Once I was home and awake, I could barely open my mouth. It was miserable. Mind you, they only removed 1 tooth during this procedure. It has now been 32 days since my surgery, and my mouth, face and gums are STILL numb. I've had 4 follow ups and no answers. "Just wait, the feeling 'should' come back". I will never return to this nightmare of an office and I will never recommend them to anyone. I will do the opposite quite frankly.

Along with Beth C., I would like to know if I could give negative stars? I had several visits at…read moreKCOM and they were all terrible! I too saw Dr. Bondra and found him to be very condescending and arrogant. I later requested other doctors there because I did not like Dr. Bondra. However, it seemed to be taboo to request another doctor there. They often told me, "you need to have Dr. Bondra handle this, he is more familiar with you condition". Luckily, Dr. Bondra seemed to be on vacation quite often, and I was able to get Dr. Ford to treat my condition in his absence. I really like doctor Ford. I later requested Dr. Ford again, but when I was sitting in the operating room, suddenly Dr. Bondra pops in! My heart sunk. Another thing I had issue with there was x-rays. They wanted to take x-rays every time I came in their office. They once took as many as 3 or 4 x-rays in a years time. When I protested, they said they lost them or couldn't find them so the had to take new ones. I told them I was concerned because I had other x-rays for other medical reasons and felt these were excessive. The young x-ray tech just said "Well, I take x-rays everyday, so I am exposed more than you are". I always left there feeling confused and somewhat violated. I would never recommend KCOM to anyone. I refer them to the "fast-food of medicine". They seem to be more concerned with getting you in and out a quick as possible, and do not give you the attention or time you need.
