Ok! I finally got some relief from my pain. I called Dr. Smith's office and April got me an…read moreappointment the next day. I went in and literally we did paperwork, numbed me up, xrays and pulled my tooth all in less than an hour. We chatted for awhile as the shots did their job and the tooth was out in 30 secs after he started. So I spent 3 hours the day before at Aspen and they told me an oral surgeon had to remove my tooth and he would be there in a week but because Dr. Smith has been practicing dentistry for 34 yrs, he actually knows what he is doing and doesn't try to over charge. He tells you what you need, how much it will cost and let's you make your plan. Was a great experience and now I have a new dentist.

So happy this dentist office has figured out how to safely operate during Covid-19. The entry to…read morethis office was designed perfectly for the pandemic. You enter the first front door, you stop for your temperature check and Covid-19 survey. If you pass the test you then enter the second set of doors and find a chair in the waiting room that have been spaced to account for social distancing. Of course all this time you are required to wear a face mask. Then in my case I was there for a long overdue dental hygiene cleaning. Each hygienists space was designed to be a separate room when this office was built. The hygienist starts by handing you a mouthwash to swish with for 30 seconds to help kill any bacteria or virus that may be lurking in your mouth. At this point the patient is safe to be without their face mask but the hygienist dons a mouth/nose covering and a clear face shield. The traditional cleaning takes place from here on with x-rays, gum measuring, water pick scaling, and finally polishing. Dr. Renshaw made his appearance and consultation after the gum measurements were taken. When you leave after your appointment you exit via the back door which puts you in the same convenient parking lot. Thanks Geri for making my mouth feel so good again. I always love the feel of my mouth and teeth after my visit to you.

This dentistry office is absolutely wonderful. It's clean, it's convenient, it's modern, and has a…read moregreat group of dentists, hygienists, assistants, and front office staff. Pros include: To start with they do a complete standing scan that encompasses so much more than x-rays ever could (jaw, behind back molars, space above roots, etc.). This is followed by a complete in-office set of digital x-rays. They also look at your medical history and ask questions that are appropriate. They follow safe treatment protocol in requesting the patient wear safety glasses when being treated. Unlike other dentists I've been to since moving to Kentucky they also take precautions during dental work that include isolating a tooth during treatment by inserting it through a rubber sheet. The hygienists primarily use a water pick to clean your teeth. No more having gums sliced by the oops of a metal instrument. You say you can't afford dental work. At this office you can. They take most major dental insurances but additionally they offer their own insurance. Their insurance kicks in immediately upon purchasing it so it covers even a procedure you need immediately. Since this office has a group of dentists they work a patient in if an emergency arises. It may not be the dentist you see on a regular basis but all the dentists are good. The cons: They are busy, so if you schedule your hygiene appointment in six months you better put it on your calendar and keep it or you may have to wait for someone else to cancel.

This was a horrible experience not because of the surgery but because of the staff…read more Just got surgery there earlier today, I would never get surgery here again. I had one nurse treat me with kindness and decency and that is the only positive thing I have to say. The rest of the staff had zero sensitivity to the fact that I had anxiety whatsoever and were frankly rude on multiple occasions. One nurse even said "do you even wanna get this surgery today?" Mind you i already had an IV and a gas mask. They do not give a damn about if your an anxious person. I woke up from surgery in a lot of pain and they made me wait for a long while and made snide comments to me as I was asking for pain medication and then acted like I was horribly inconveniencing them because I had to go to the bathroom. Bedside manner was terrible which was so disappointing because I had such a positive experience at the beaumont location. If youre an anxious person do not go there, they not only didnt care, they made my anxiety much worse. Not to mention all of the art on the walls of the rooms look like they came out of a horror film If I could've walked out at the point the dr himself was getting shitty with me I wouldve but I literally couldnt couldn't the one nurse who was nice went above and beyond to try to help, I wish I could give her name because she was the only thing that got mw through this horrible experience

I've had 2 wisdom teeth removed prior to this experience. Everything went well, could eat in less…read morethan 2 days, no numbness or dry socket. This experience was completely different. I was uncomfortable from the second I walked through the patient door. The patience chairs back in the rooms are like from a 1950's horror film. Once I was seated, I sat there for around 20 minutes waiting. There was an exit door in my room & the employees kept going in and out of it. Like I wasn't even there. Then I'm finally getting hooked up to my IV, and they put this death mask on me and left it for over 20 more minutes. They said it was laughing gas, but I was already being put down via IV. The "laughing gas" made me so nauseous and weird feeling. Like I had no control and couldn't move. I was helpless and freaking out. After the surgery, they didn't wait for me to wake up. They handed me off to my husband, not conscious. Once I was home and awake, I could barely open my mouth. It was miserable. Mind you, they only removed 1 tooth during this procedure. It has now been 32 days since my surgery, and my mouth, face and gums are STILL numb. I've had 4 follow ups and no answers. "Just wait, the feeling 'should' come back". I will never return to this nightmare of an office and I will never recommend them to anyone. I will do the opposite quite frankly.
