I have went to them with my face looking just like this, in severe pain with 10 abscesses. They advised me that there is no use in giving me antibiotics, because the infection is not gonna go away. They have no sympathy that you're hurting and told me to take Tylenol and Motrin, together every 6 hours for the pain. REALLY?! Are they trying to over-dose me, or shut my liver down, or BOTH! Have they been watching all the WARNINGS from the FDA?! Trust me, if you like to waste money on nothing and to be billed for procedures that have not been done, this is the perfect place, but if you're hurting and need immediate dental attention, you WILL NOT get it here!

I originally went to him a year ago and was too nervous to have the procedure done. Trust me that was my fault not his. But his office did call and check on me anyhow. I was at his office with my mom one day this past month and Sherry (nicest lady ever) recognized me. She called me that next day to see if I ever got the tooth removed. Which of course I didn't and Dr Catron had her bring me in for a free 20 minute consult. They were so nice and yesterday was my appointment to get the tooth out. I was scared but honestly I don't know what I was scared about. He is the absolute best dentist ever. He was kind, he made me laugh, he really cared about how I was doing. He would stop every few minutes just to give me time to breathe if I needed it. I will never see another dentist as long as Dr Catron is still practicing. I sincerely thank them for everything they have done and if anyone who is reading this is considering this office for their dental work, you need not look any further cause you have found the dentist you need. The new front office staff is still navigating some things but they are very understanding when something needs to be corrected and are helpful in doing so. The back staff and dental staff are amazing and always the best with both myself and my son. Most night guards, crowns, retainers , etc can be made without the need for traditional impression materials. The saying " a picture is worth a 1000 words" holds true when you see a leaking filling or a fractured tooth on the screen when a special intra-oral camera is used during the exam. Maybe best of all, dental injections can be avoided when cavities are diagnosed and treated early using the dental laser. Everyone in the office is knowledgeable and caring. I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful office.

It's not a bad dentist, but we've had to conclude it's just not the place for us anymore, and it's not the office we used to love. Dr. Herman is a bit curmudgeonly. However, he's gradually gone from charmingly curmudgeonly in that grandfatherly sort of way, to gruff and off-putting, like a bitter old man. The last straw was when my wife had trouble booking an appointment for dental work, because they kept losing her appointments. She'd book an appointment, come in on that date, and be told they didn't have a record of the appointment and she'd have to reschedule. After this happened twice, she got the hint that maybe we were being "fired" as patients. Either they were trying to tell us we weren't welcome anymore, or were too inept to keep our business. We realized that we'd stayed with Dr. Herman for years out of a sense of loyalty and out of habit, but objectively speaking, it was nowhere near as good a dental office as it was almost a decade ago when we started using it.
